The motive of this work is to present a computational design using the stochastic scaled conjugate gradient(SCG)neural networks(NNs)called as SCGNNs for the socio-ecological dynamics(SED)with reef ecosystems and conservation *** mathematical descriptions of the SED model are provided that is dependent upon five categories,macroalgae m(v),breathing coral C(v),algal turf T(v),the density of parrotfish p(v)and the opinion of human opinion X(v).The stochastic SCGNNs process is applied to formulate the SEDmodel based on the sample statistics,testing,accreditation and *** different variations of the SED have been provided to authenticate the stochastic SCGNNs performance through the statics for training,accreditation,and testing are 77%,12%and 11%,*** obtained numerical performances have been compared with the Runge-Kutta approach to solve the *** reduction of mean square error(mSE)is used to investigate the numericalmeasures through the SCGNNs for solving the SED *** precision of the SCGNNs is validated through the comparison of the results and the absolute error *** reliability of the SCGNNs is performed by using the correlation values,state transitions(STs),error histograms(EHs),mSE measures and regression analysis.

The aim of this study was to analyze the performance of Acaena elongata colonized by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AmF)to different phosphorus(p)concentrations,as a measure of AmF ***,is a species from soils where p availability is limited,such as temperate *** research questions were:1)How do different p concentrations affect the AmF association in Acaena elongata,and 2)How does the AmF association influence ***’s growth under different p concentrations?***’s growth,p content in plant tissue,AmF colonization and dependency were measured under four p concentrations:control(0 g p kg^(-1)),low(0.05 g p kg^(-1)),intermediate(0.2 g p kg^(-1))and high(2 g p kg^(-1))in different harvests.A complete randomized block design was ***’s growth was higher under-AmF in intermediate and high p concentrations,and the lowest growth corresponded to+AmF in the low and intermediate p *** observed a negative effect on the root biomass under+AmF in intermediate p concentration,while the p concentration had a positive effect on the leaf area *** AmF colonization in *** decreased in the highest p concentration and it was favored under intermediate p concentration;while the low and the high concentrations generated a cost-benefit *** results suggest that the performance of some plant species in soils with low p availability may not be favored by their association with AmF,but a synergy between AmF and intermediate p concentrations might drive ***’s growth.

The ancestral cultures have described many therapeutic properties of garlic,therefore,it is of central interest to elucidate the molecular basis explaining this millenary empirical ***,it has been demonstrated a neuroprotective effect of allicin–a phytochemical present in garlic-linked to oxidative-inflammatory *** improved neuronal injury by heat shock protein 70(Hsp70)and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)***,allicin exerts renal protection involving a possible angiotensin type 1 receptor(AT1)*** connection,AT1 overexpression has been recognized as a central deleterious factor in many brain ***,there are no studies that evaluate AT1-Hsp70-iNOS interaction as a mechanism linked to ***,our central aim is to evaluate if the allicin protective effect is associated with an AT1-Hsp70-iNOS counterbalance *** this study,a murine microglial cell line(BV-2)was injured with lipopolysaccharides and treated or not with ***,it was evaluated cell viability,proinflammatory cytokine levels,cellular oxidative stress,iNOS,Hsp70,and AT1 protein expression(cellular and mitochondrial fractions),nitrite levels,and protein-protein *** results demonstrated that allicin could prevent neuronal injury due to a reduction in oxidative stress and inflammatory status mediated by an AT1-Hsp70-iNOS counterbalance axis linked to direct protein-protein interaction.

pb and Cr Content in an Agricultural Soil Irrigated with Wastewater and Their Bioaccumulation in Alfalfa

Urban wastewater contains various pollutants, with heavy metals being common, posing risks to the environment and public health, especially when used for irrigation in agricultural systems. This study aimed to assess the total and bioavailable content of pb and Cr in agricultural soil irrigated with wastewater and their accumulation in alfalfa crops. Five alfalfa sites were sampled, and ten surface soil samples were collected from the top 30 cm of each plot. plant samples were also collected at each sampling point. A composite sample of irrigation water from the main channels was also collected and prepared. The concentration of heavy metals was determined using atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The results revealed concentrations of pb and Cr (VI) in the irrigation water above the maximum permissible limits according to environmental regulations. The soil had high organic matter content, neutral pH, elevated electrical conductivity (EC), and pb and Cr contents of up to 103 and 89 mg/kg, respectively. In alfalfa tissues, pb and Cr concentrations were recorded at 26 mg/kg and 4.6 mg/kg, respectively (Cr (VI), with lower concentrations observed in the roots. Cr (VI) was higher at all sites, with ranges from 2.25 to 43.56, while lead (pb) had an AR ranging from 0.64 to 27.04. The pb presented a mean of 1.45 of the Bioaccumulation factor values, which can be considered a metal-accumulating plant.

Effect of Anti-TNF Therapy on Resistance to Insulin in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: To evaluate the effect of anti-TNF therapy on resistance to insulin in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) compared with patients with RA being treated with non-biological DmARDs. methods: Inactive patients diagnosed with RA (ACR 1987 criteria) (DAS 28 2.6) were included, being treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (anti-TNF) (cases) and non-biological disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DmARD) (controls), without risk factors for insulin resistance (administration of steroids, body mass index > 25 kg/m2, diabetes mellitus or use of glucose lowering agents, systemic arterial hypertension or use of anti-hypertensive drugs, triglycerides > 150 mg/dl, hypercholesterolemia > 200 mg/dl, high-density lipoproteins 40 mg/dl in men and 50 mg/in women, or with lipids lowering agents, waist measurement > 88 cm in women and > 102 cm in men). We used HOmA (Homeostasis model Assessment) to determine insulin resistance in both groups, HOmA being defined as >1 and sensitivity to insulin using QUICKI (Insulin Sensitivity Check Index), ≥0.38 being considered as normal. The mann Whitney U was used for the statistical analysis. Results: A total of 28 patients, 15 being treated with non-biological DmARDs and 13 with anti-TNF therapy, were evaluated;89.7%, of which were women. Average age: 43.5 (range 21 - 62);the average HOmA index of the non-biological DmARD group was 1.58 (range 0.7 - 5.4), compared with patients treated with anti-TNF therapy, 1.18 (range 0.2 - 4.3) (p = 0.5). The average QUICKI index was 0.36 (range 0.30 - 0.42) in patients treated with non-biological DmARD, compared with0.37 inpatients treated with anti-TNF therapy (range 0.30 - 0.51) (p = 0.8). Conclusion: Resistance to insulin manifested itself in both groups, although there was a greater trend of less insulin resistance and greater sensitivity in the anti-TNF group;this was probably not statistically significant due to the sample size.

The experimental degradation of a water soluble dye, potassium indigo tetrasulfonate salt, has been studied using stand-alone ozonation and photocatalytic oxidation process. progress of the dye oxidation was followed by UV-VIS spectrophotometric measurements at controlled operating conditions. The organic content of reaction samples was measured to verify the process efficiency in dye mineralization. According to current results, almost complete color removal was obtained for ozonation within about 1 h reaction time. The reduction of the organic load was almost 80% from its original while initial sulphur content decreased to 32.5%. Dye conversion of 100% was obtained by means of a photocatalytic process using TiO2 as catalyst at 294 nm irradiated UV light. This complete color removal for the catalytic process was observed within 7 min of reaction time. The calculated initial rate of reaction of photocatalysis treatment was 8 times faster than that of ozonolysis. However, the remaining organic load of photocatalysis was almost 88% from its original while the final sulphur content was 27.3%. This contrasting behavior of the performance of the type of oxidation process stressed importance of physicochemical phenomena and intermediates molecules present during dye degradation. An insightful and mechanistic aspect of the dye oxidation was developed by performing quantumchemical calculations.

With an increase in the number of cases of autism spectrum disorder(ASD),dental professionals need to be aware of the different techniques required to ensure safe dental treatments for affected patients. The concerns and preferences of the parents and the medical and dental history of each patient should be considered. The aim of this article was to provide a comprehensive update on the medical and dental health of patients with ASD. A detailed search of the electronic database pubmed/medline/Lilacs was performed for the terms"Autism", "Autistic", "Autism Spectrum Disorder", "ASD", "Dentistry" and"Dentist", in the period between 2006 and 2017. Systemic reviews, research articles, and literature reviews were included. Expert opinions, case series, and case reports were excluded from the search. A detailed family-centered approach based on the preferences and concerns of parents is an important foundation for appropriate individualized dental treatment of patients with ASD. In addition,the knowledge of disruptive behaviors and patient′s challenges may guide dental practitioners in improving treatment planning, oral management, and the overall oral health of patients with ASD.
