Ocean productivity is the foundation of marine food web,which continuously removes atmospheric carbon dioxide and supports life at sea and on ***-temporal variability of net primary productivity(Npp),sea surface temperature(ssT),sea surface salinity(sss),mixed layer depth(MLD),and euphotic zone depth(eZD) in the northern b ay of bengal(bob) during three monsoon seasons were examined in this study based on remote sensing data for the period 2005 to *** compare the Npp distribution between the coastal zones and open bob,the study area was divided into five zones(Z1-Z5).results suggest that most productive zones Z2 and Zl are located at the head bay area and are directly influenced by freshwater discharge together with riverine sediment and nutrient *** Z1-Z5,the Npp ranges from 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d) to 346.7 mg/(m^(2)·d)(carbon,since then the same).The highest monthly average Npp of 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d) in February and 5 039.36 mg/(m^(2)·d) in June were observed from Z2,while the lowest monthly average of 346.72 mg/(m^(2)·d) was observed in March from Z4,which is an oceanic *** values vary from 6-154 m for the study area,and it has an inverse correlation with Npp *** is deeper during the summer season and shallower during the wintertime,with a corresponding increase in *** the year,monthly ssT shows slight fluctuation for the entire study area,and statistical analysis shows a significant correlation among Npp,and eZD,overall positive between Npp and MLD,whereas no significant correlation among sss,and ssT for the northern ***-term trends in ssT and productivity were significantly po sitive in head bay zones but negatively productive in the open *** findings in this study on the distribution of Npp,ssT,sss,MLD,and eZD and their seasonal variability in five different zones of bob can be used to further improve the management of marine resources and overall environmental condition in response to clim

background:Many kinds of orchids have significant health benefits although ade-quate research on their biological functions is yet to be carried *** study inves-tigated the paracetamol-induced liver damage-protecting effect of epiphytic Aerides odorata methanol extract(AODe).Methods:The protective effects of AODe were studied by analyzing its effect on liver function parameters,messenger rNA(mrNA)expression,and tissue histopatho-logical *** results were confirmed by ligand-receptor interaction of molecular docking and multitarget interaction of network pharmacological ***:AODe significantly(ped the dose-dependent increase in acid phosphatase,aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,alkaline phos-phatase,γ-glutamyl transferase,lactate dehydrogenase,and total bilirubin compared to the reference drug *** level decreased,and the antioxidant genes catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(sOD),β-actin,paraoxonase-1(pON1),and phosphofructokinase-1(pFK-1)were upregulated in AODe-treated paracetamol-intoxicated rats.A total of 376 compounds comprising phenols and flavonoids were identified using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight-mass spectrometry(UpLC-qTOF-Ms).The online toxicity assessment using swissADMe and admetsAr exhibited drug-like,nontoxic,and potential pharmaco-logical ***,in silico analysis showed that isoacteoside,one of the identified compounds,exhibited the best docking score(−11.42)with the liver pro-tein human pituitary adenylate cyclase-1(protein Data bank ID:3N94).Furthermore,network pharmacology analysis identified the top 10 hub genes,namely AKT1(protein kinase b),CTNNb1(catenin beta-1),srC(proto-oncogene c-src),TNF(tumor necrosis factor),eGFr(epidermal growth factor receptor),Hsp90AA1(heat shock protein 90α),MApK3(mitogen-activated protein kinase 3),sTAT3(signal transducer and activator of transcription 3),CAsp3(caspase protein),

We obtain an exact solution for spherically symmetric Letelier Ads black holes immersed in perfect fluid dark matter(pFDM).Considering the cosmological constant as the positive pressure of the system and volume as its conjugate variable,we analyze the thermodynamics of our black holes in the extended phase *** to the background clouds of strings parameter(a)and the parameter endowed with pFDM(β),we analyze the Hawking temperature,entropy,and specific ***,we investigate the relationship between the photon sphere radius and phase transition for the Letelier Ads black holes immersed in *** the analysis,with a particular condition,non-monotonic behaviors are found between the photon sphere radius,impact parameter,pFDM parameter,temperature,and *** can regard the changes in both the photon sphere radius and impact parameter before and after phase transition as the order parameter;their critical exponents near the critical point are equal to the same value,1/2,similar to that in ordinary thermal *** indicates that a universal relation of gravity may exist near the critical point for a black hole thermodynamic system.

background: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) stands as a prominent postoperative complication in on-pump cardiac surgery, with repercussions on morbidity, mortality, and hospitalization duration. Current diagnostic criteria relying on serum creatinine levels exhibit a delayed identification of AKI, prompting an exploration of alternative biomarkers. Aims and Objectives: This study is designed to overcome diagnostic constraints and explore the viability of serum Cystatin C as an early predictor of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in individuals undergoing on-pump cardiac surgery. The investigation aims to establish the relationship between serum Cystatin C levels and the onset of AKI in patients subjected to on-pump cardiac surgery. primary objectives involve the assessment of the diagnostic effectiveness of serum Cystatin C, its comparison with serum creatinine, and the exploration of its potential for the early identification and treatment of AKI. Methodology: Conducted as a single-center study at the cardiac surgery department of bsMMU in bangladesh from september 2020 to August 2022, a comparative cross-sectional analysis involved 31 participants categorized into No AKI and AKI groups based on Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) criteria. Data collection encompassed preoperative, post-Cbp (cardiopulmonary bypass) conclusion at 2 hours, postoperative day 1, and postoperative day 2 intervals. statistical analyses included Chi-squared tests, independent student’s t-tests, and one-sample t-tests. significance was set at p results: The study revealed no significant differences in baseline characteristics between the No AKI and AKI groups, except for Cpb time and cross-clamp time. serum Cystatin C levels in the AKI group exhibited statistical significance at various time points, highlighting its potential as an early detector. background: Following coronary artery bypass grafting (CAbG), delirium emerges as a prevalent complication. This study aimed to assess the correlation between elevated serum cortisol levels and the occurrence of postoperative delirium subsequent to off-pump CAbG. Methods: Conducted in the Department of Cardiac surgery at bsMMU from October 2020 to september 2022, this comparative cross-sectional study included a total of 44 participants. subjects, meeting specific criteria, were purposefully assigned to two groups based on off-pump CAbG. Group A (n = 22) consisted of patients with normal serum cortisol levels, while Group b (n = 22) comprised individuals with high serum cortisol levels on the first postoperative day. Delirium onset was assessed at the bedside in the ICU on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th postoperative days using standard tools, namely the richmond Agitation sedation score (rAss) and The Confusion Assessment Method (CAM-ICU). Data were collected based on the presence or absence of delirium. statistical analysis utilized spss version 26.0, employing an independent student’s t-test for continuous data and chi-square and Fischer’s exact test for categorical data. A p-value ≤ 0.05 was considered statistically significant. results: Group-A had a mean age of 54.50 ± 17.97, and Group-b had a mean age of 55.22 ± 15.45, both with a male predominance (81.81% and 86.36% respectively). The mean serum cortisol level was significantly higher in Group b (829.71 ± vs. 389.98 ± 68.77). postoperative delirium occurred in 27.3% of Group b patients, statistically significant compared to the 4.5% in Group A. However, patients in Group b who developed delirium experienced significantly longer postoperative ICU and hospital stays (79.29 ± 12.27 vs. 11.44 ± 2.85, p ≤ 0.05). There was one mortality in Group b, which was statistically not significant. Capsicum is a nutritious vegetable and its cultivation in farms is getting popular in bangladesh. Although many efforts have lain to explore better yielding and nutritionally rich cultivars with suitable modern cultivation techniques but still have to find the desired outcome. Thus, it’s necessary to conduct further research to identify the high-yielding and nutritious capsicum cultivars in bangladesh. An experiment was conducted from July 2021 to June 2022 at the bangladesh Institute of research and Training on Applied Nutrition (bIrTAN) research field with three cultivars of capsicum: bsub>0sub> = California Wonder, bsub>1sub> = bArI Misti Morich-1 and bsub>2sub> = bArI Misti Morich-2 and three mulching: Tsub>0sub> = No mulching, Tsub>1sub> = Water hyacinth, Tsub>2sub> = poly Mulching in randomized complete block design with three replications to identify better quality capsicum cultivar and suitable mulching material. Among cultivars the bArI Misti Morich-2 (bsub>2sub>) showed increased agronomic parameters like number of branches and effective branches per plant, leaves length and width, consequently yield and yield contributing traits were also enhanced like fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter and yield per plant (25.97%, 4.54%, 3.64% and 21.43%, respectively). poly Mulching (Tsub>2sub>) increased agronomic traits, yield traits and yield (0.61 kg) than bArI Misti Morich-1 (Tsub>1sub>). The combined effect of bsub>2sub>Tsub>2sub> increased the number of branches per plant, effective branches per plant, leaves length and breadth by 40%, 90%, 15.57% and 26.22%, respectively, hence resulting in an increased yield of 20%. bArI Misti Morich-2 cultivar showed an increase in Fe, Zn and Vitamin-C content of 26.24% and 23.10%, 8.82% and 5.14%, and 6.03% and 5.74% than b0 and b1 cultivars, respectively. The Atlantic tripletail (Lobotes surinamensis) is a high revenue-generating fish species predominantly caught by mechanized artisanal fishers community and the most available member of its family in *** is a ground work of fish stock assessment study in the bay of bengal region to explore the life history parameters and associated biomass of this species,using three length-based approaches of TropFishr,the length-based bayesian biomass estimation (Lbb),and Froese’s lengthbased indicators (LbIs).An almost homogenous body growth pattern (b=3.07;r2=0.98) was observed in the length-weight relationship of *** life history parameters for tripletail,as determined by the von bertalanffy Growth Function (VbGF) model,were L∞=113.36 cm and k=0.51/*** length converted catch curve (LCCC) yielded an estimation of the total mortality (Z=1.77/a),with the natural mortality estimated at (M=0.53/a) and the fishing mortality estimated at (F=1.24/a).but,the ratio of mortality(F/M=0.15) by Lbb captured the non-fully exploited status of biomass (b/bMsY=2.1).LbI analysis indicated that the tripletail fishery’s spawning stock biomass is greater than the target and limit reference points,indicating a healthy state of biomass.
