Liver transp.a.t(LT) is the primary treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease. About 25000 LTs are performed annually in the world. The potential for intraoperative bleeding is quite variable. However, massive bleeding is common and requires blood transfusion. Allogeneic blood transfusion has an immunosuppressive effect and an impact on recipient survival, in addition to the risk of transmission of viral infections and transfusion errors, among *** to prevent excessive bleeding or to use autologous blood have been proposed to minimize the negative effects of allogeneic blood *** reinfusion of autologous blood is possible through previous selfdonation or blood collected during the operation. However, LT does not normally allow autologous transfusion by prior self-donation. Hence, using autologous blood collected intraoperatively is the most feasible option. The use of intraoperative blood salvage autotransfusion(IBSA) minimizes the perioperative use of allogeneic blood, preventing negative transfusion effects without negatively impacting other clinical outcomes. The use of IBSA in patients with cancer is still a matter of debate due to the theoretical risk of reinfusion of tumor cells. However, studies have demonstrated the safety of IBSA in several surgical procedures, including LT for hepatocellular carcinoma. Considering the literature available to date, we can state that IBSA should be routinely used in LT, both in patients with cancer and in patients with benign diseases.

Urban green spaces(UGS)are relevant to city well-being,as recognized by the United Nations’Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).However,few studies have studied the temporal use of *** work assessed the seasonal,weekly,and daily use of three urban green spaces(Vingis park,Bernardino Garden,and Jomantas park)in Vilnius(Lithuania).The study is based on an on-site observation-based survey,which recorded users’characteristics,activities,and weather conditions during summer and *** results showed that UGS’s seasonal,weekly,and daily use differed according to park and users’*** with a higher diversity of facilities had a high seasonal difference in the number of observed *** numbers were higher in the summer for activities with children,social activities,sports,and water activities than in the *** park had the lowest variability in user *** variables were linked to changes in users’*** precipitation and lower temperature were associated with reducing the number of users and the diversity of registered *** of the stationary activities were observed during *** diversity of the observed activities was associated with the available facilities rather than the park *** distribution of stationary activities was spatially correlated with facility/equipment(benches,p.a.grounds,sports,and fitness equipment)and proximity to water *** results of this study are relevant for UGS design,p.a.ning,and management.

Efflorescent nanop.a.es(Nps) are found as a transitory accumulation of potentially hazardous elements(pHEs),particularly in tropical climates. The central objective of this study was to investigate the distribution of pHEs with Nps through the evaporative formation structures(EFS) of enormously pHEs-rich coal-mine drainages(CMD). The EFS were studied in natural coal mine drainage for five months in order to determine their geochemical and ecological structures and to assess their position in the reduction of pHEs in nature. The largest coal-fired power p.a.t in South America, located in south Brazil, is used as an example of such a problem. In this work, a novel methodology for the analysis of pHEs in CMD precipitates is proposed for this affected coal *** analytical method, combining X-Ray Diffraction(XRD) and advanced electron microscopies, shows the importance of nanomineralogy in understanding different circumstances of coal contamination. Several ultrafinenanoparticles(UNps) were identified in the sampled soils and river sediments together with the pHEs. A decrease in pHEs was identified in association with UNps. However, further investigations are required with regard to the mobility of pHEs in water, atmosphere, soils, and sediments. The EpS was thoroughly studied, acquiring suitable understanding with investigational facts for Ca and Fe-sulp.a.es, pickeringite, and several amorphous p.a.es.

In modern Volleyball,the block action differentiates the world-class *** purpose of this study is to understand what determines the action of the middle blocker in the moment that precedes the technical procedure of the *** sample consisted of n4895 actions from 24 middle blockers,representing 30 footages of games from the 1st male volleyball division in the portuguese league on season 2013/*** have also recorded the type of setting(ball tempo)of the opposing setter and the area where the opposing attack *** chi-squared test analysis allowed us to establish that there is a relationship between the actions and the attack zones(x2=109.956;p≤0.001),as well as between the actions and the type of setting,in each attack zone(x2=3,523.678;p≤0.001 in all of them).Thus,we have verified that the action performs block but does not make contact with the ball that is the most *** have also established that there is a strong tendency for the middle blocker to attempt to carry out the block in zones 3 and 4,to the detriment of the attack performed in defensive zone.
