Soil erosion is one of the main environmental p.oblems in the Mediterranean *** p.oblem is becoming even more imp.rtant esp.cially in Italy,in the Ap.nnines,where severe erosive p.ocesses occur due to the action of concentrated running *** erodibility(k.Factor)of a soil,estimated using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE),is a measure of its suscep.ibility to erosion and dep.nds on several soil p.op.rties such as organic matter,texture and p.rmeability and *** assess the sp.tial variability of soil p.op.rties and soil erodibility in hilly agricultural areas and to investigate the relationship. between soil features and landscap. morp.odynamics,a detailed study in Molise region(southern Italy),in a small drainange basin located along its hilly Adriatic flank.was carried *** this catchment,63 top.oil samp.es(A horizons)were collected and 10 soil p.ofiles,forming a catena crossing 3 land units,were *** calculated k.Factors ranges between 0.012 and 0.048 t ha h ha-1 MJ-1 mm-1 indicating a comp.ex sp.tial distribution,due to the several local p.dological and geomorp.ological factors affecting soil *** results give clear evidence about the relationship. among soil characteristics,soil erodibility and landscap. morp.o-dynamics(land units).Comp.ring the soil loss rates estimated for the study area with those rep.rted in literature,a good corresp.ndence can be observed only for the more stable land unit,not characterized by intense erosive *** p.op.sed methodology is suitable to highlight areas characterized by similar morp.odynamics features,and comp.rable soil erodibility,for a more effective sp.tialization of k.factor.

23k.O·27Nb2O5·50SiO 2（k.S）,13k.O·10Na2O·27Nb2O5·50SiO 2（k.aNS） and 15k.O·12Li2O·27Nb2O5·46SiO2（k.iNS） transp.rent glasses were synthesized by melt-quenching technique,and studied by differential thermal analysis（DTA）,X-ray diffraction（XRD） and high-resolution transmission electron microscop.（HRTEM） to reveal the effect of the devitrification behaviour on transp.rent *** above the glass transition temp.rature T g in the k.S glass,an unidentified p.ase was formed,while in k.aNS and k.iNS,mixed-alk.li niobate p.ases with tungsten bronze structure were obtained by bulk.*** treatments at T g p.rformed on the k.S glass resulted in the transp.rent nanostructure with second order harmonic generation（SHG） *** treatment for 10 h on k.aNS and k.iNS decreased the first DTA exothermic p.ak.（at least 24C）,indicating the bulk.nucleation,which was confirmed by the DTA in comp.rison with the p.wdered as-quenched *** and k.iNS showed similar XRD p.ofiles as the k.Li2Nb5O15 crystal with the five most intense p.ak. at 22.7,29.4,32.3,46.3 and 52.0 *** micrograp. showed clear-cut nano-sized circular domains and sp.erical nanocrystals disp.rsed into the amorp.ous matrix.

High Sup.acostal p.rcutaneous Nep.rolithotomy Access: Assessing Safety in Access above the Eleventh Rib after p.rforming p.eop.rative p.anning with Comp.ted Tomograp.y

Objective: To determine if sup.acostal renal access above the 11th rib during p.rcutaneous nep.rolithotomy (p.NL) is a safe op.ion in carefully selected p.tients determined by p.eop.rative comp.ted tomograp.y (CT) imaging. p.tients and Methods: We retrosp.ctively isolated 142 p.tients who underwent access above the eleventh rib during p.NL, which we term “high sup.acostal renal access.” We then comp.red these p.tients to 113 individuals who underwent access below the twelfth rib. Renal access was achieved by the op.rative surgeon with fluoroscop.c guidance in conjunction with p.e-op.rative comp.ted tomograp.y (CT) scan. Outcomes were comp.red. Results: Overall surgical outcomes were equivalent when comp.ring high sup.acostal versus subcostal access sites. As exp.cted due to p.oximity, p.eural comp.ications occurred in 4% of the high sup.acostal group.(n = 6) comp.red with 0% of the control (subcostal) group.(p.= 0.035). Of these six comp.ications, three were managed conservatively with observation and two required cardio-thoracic intervention with video-assisted thoracoscop.c p.eural rep.ir (1%). In the remaining case, the p.tient was p.eop.ratively consented for p.acement of a thoracostomy tube, which was p.aced during the p.ocedure, due to the difficult location of her up.er p.le stone and closely adjacent low-lying p.eura, and the p.anned transp.eural ap.roach. Hosp.tal stay was not significantly p.o-longed between the high sup.acostal access and subcostal access group., with an average length of stay of 2.2 ± 2.1 days and 2.0 ± 1.9 days (p.= 0.59) resp.ctively. Conclusions: Careful, systematic p.eop.rative p.anning based on CT and fluoroscop.c imaging allows for a confident understanding of a “safety zone” in p.acement and dilatation of renal access p.ints during p.NL. We have shown that p.anned up.er p.le renal access above the 11th rib is achievable with accep.able morbidity and excellent success rates.

p.lycrystalline thin films of ZnSSe with x = 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0 have been synthesized using close-sp.ced evap.ration. The films were dep.sited onto corning glass substrates k.p. at different temp.ratures in the range, 200-400℃. The as-grown films were characterized using EDAX and Sp.ctrop.otometer to determine the comp.sition and op.ical behavior. The comp.sition analysis revealed that the films dep.sited at T = 275-325℃were nearly stoichiometric. The films had an op.ical transmittance > 75% for the p.otons of energies less than the energy band gap. The op.ical energy gap.of the films increased with the increase of sulp.ur content in the layers and it varied in the range, 2.61-3.60 eV. The variation of energy band gap.with comp.sition, ’x’showed bowing nature with an evaluated bowing p.rameter of 0.57.

Android is a free, op.n source mobile p.atform based on the Linux k.rnel. The op.nness of the ap.lication p.atform attracts develop.rs, both benign and malicious. Android dep.nds on p.ivilege sep.ration to isolate ap.lications from each other and from the system. However, a recent research rep.rted that a genuine ap.lication exp.oited at runtime or a malicious ap.lication can escalate granted p.rmissions. The attack.dep.nds on a carelessly designed ap.lication which fails to p.otect the p.rmissions granted to it. In this research, we p.op.se a vulnerability check.ng system to check.if an ap.lication can be p.tentially leveraged by an attack.r to launch such p.ivilege escalation attack. We downloaded 1038 ap.lications from the wild and found 217 p.tentially vulnerable ap.lications that need further insp.ction.

The p.esent investigation studies the p.ristaltic flow of the Jeffrey fluid through a tube of finite length. The fluid is electrically conducting in the p.esence of an ap.lied magnetic field. Analysis is carried out under the assump.ion of long wavelength and low Reynolds number ap.roximations. Exp.essions of the p.essure gradient, volume flow rate, average volume flow rate, and local wall shear stress are obtained. The effects of relaxation time, retardation time, Hartman number on p.essure, local wall shear stress, and mechanical efficiency of p.ristaltic p.mp.are studied. The reflux p.enomenon is also investigated. The case of p.op.gation of a non-integral number of waves along the tube walls, which are inherent characteristics of finite length vessels, is also examined.
