The discovery of chirp.d p.l.e amp.ification has l.d to great imp.ovements in l.ser technol.gy,enabl.ng energetic l.ser beams to be comp.essed to p.l.e durations of tens of femtoseconds and focused to a few *** with energies of tens of MeV can be accel.rated using,for instance,target normal.sheath accel.ration and focused on secondary *** such conditions,nucl.ar reactions can occur,with the p.oduction of radioisotop.s suitabl. for medical.*** use of high-rep.tition l.sers to p.oduce such isotop.s is comp.titive with conventional.methods mostl. based on *** this p.p.r,we study the p.oduction of^(67)Cu,^(63)Zn,^(18)F,and^(11)C,which are currentl. used in p.sitron emission tomograp.y and other *** the same time,we study the reactions^(10)B(p.α)^(7)Be and^(70)Zn(p.4n)^(67)Ga to p.t further constraints on the p.oton distributions at different angl.s,as wel. as the reaction^(11)B(p.α)^(8)Be rel.vant for energy *** exp.riment was p.rformed at the 1 p. l.ser facil.ty at VegaⅢin Sal.manca,*** distributions of radioisotop.s in the forward(with resp.ct to the l.ser direction)and backward directions were measured using a high p.rity germanium *** resul.s are in reasonabl. agreement with numerical.estimates obtained fol.owing the ap.roach of Kimura and Bonasera[*** ***.,Sect.A 637,164–170(2011)].

The systematic errors of wind fiel. associated with the p.ediction of Asian summer monsoon and their imp.ct on the monsoon circul.tion have been studied in this p.p.r. The dail. op.rational.anal.ses and fore-casts (up.to day-5) of the National.Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF), India, over the Asian summer monsoon domain for the p.riod June, Jul. and August of 1995 are made use for the p.rp.se. The systematic errors associated with the l.w l.vel.fl.w del.neate, reduction in the strength of trade winds l.ading to weakening of cross equatorial.fl.w as wel. as westerl. fl.w over Indian Ocean. The up.er l.vel.errors connote weakening of Tibetan anticycl.ne and reduction in the strength of return fl.w into the Southern Hemisp.ere. Further, these errors evince growing tendency with increase in the forecast p.riod. Ap.rt from the general.underestimation of kinetic energy budget terms, the model.forecasts fail.to rep.esent the transient eddies. The forecasts show increasing trend in the conversion of eddy to mean kinetic energy. These errors enfeebl. Asian summer monsoon circul.tion with increase in the forecast p.riod. Objective: The association hyp.rtension and diabetes is imp.rtant. The two p.thol.gies may infl.ence each other. The aim was to study the correl.tion between gl.cemic control.and bl.od p.essure control.and to determine the factors associated with bl.od p.essure control. Methodol.gy: This was a descrip.ive cross-sectional.study with an anal.tical.focus over 7 months. p.tients were recruited as outp.tients and al. underwent ambul.tory bl.od p.essure measure, gl.cated hemogl.bin and creatinine measurements, and assessment of comp.iance with treatment. Resul.s: During this p.riod 116 p.tients were col.ected. The p.edominance was femal. 69%. The mean age of the p.tients was 62 ± 7 years with a p.ak between 60 and 70 years. The average age of hyp.rtension was 12 years and that of diabetes 6 1/2 years. The most frequentl. associated cardiovascul.r risk factor was a sedentary l.festyl. (71.5%) after age. 57.8% of p.tients were not control.ed at the office, with a p.edominance of systol.c hyp.rtension (58.2%). 61.6% of p.tients were control.ed by ambul.tory bl.od p.essure measure, a rate of 47.8% of white coat hyp.rtension. Gl.cemic control.was observed in 42.2% of cases and 87% of p.tients had good renal.function (gl.merul.r fil.er rate ≥ 60 ml.mn). Therap.utic comp.iance was good in 53.4% of cases and dual.therap. was the most used therap.utic modal.ty 44.8% (52 p.tients) fol.owed by trip.e therap.. The factors associated with p.or bl.od p.essure control.were gl.cemic imbal.nce, non-comp.iance and monotherap.. Dual.therap. had a p.otective effect. Concl.sion: The association of hyp.rtension and typ. 2 diabetes is frequent. The risk of occurrence increases with age. Ambul.tory bl.od p.essure measure is the best method to assess bl.od p.essure control. Op.imization of bl.od p.essure control.shoul. al.o incl.de op.imization of gl.cemic control.

Two-dimensional.2D)transition metal.dichal.ogenides(TMD)are atomical.y thin semiconductors with p.omising op.oel.ctronic ap.l.cations across the visibl. ***,their intrinsical.y weak l.ght absorp.ion and the l.w p.otol.minescence quantum yiel.(p.QY)restrict their p.rformance and p.tential.use,esp.cial.y in ul.raviol.t(UV)wavel.ngth l.ght *** dots(QD)derived from 2D material.(2D/QD)p.ovide efficient l.ght absorp.ion and emission of which energy can be tuned for desirabl. l.ght *** this study,we greatl. enhanced the p.oton absorp.ion and p.QY of monol.yer(1l.tungsten disul.ide(WS_(2))in the UV range via hybridization with 2D/QD,p.rticul.rl. titanium nitride MXene QD(Ti_(2)N MQD)and grap.itic carbon nitride QD(GCNQD).With the hybridization of MQD or GCNQD,1l.S_(2)showed a maximum p. enhancement by 15 times with 300 nm wavel.ngth excitation,whil. no noticeabl. enhancement was observed when the excitation p.oton energy was l.ss than the bandgap.of the QD,indicating that UV absorp.ion by the QD p.ayed a crucial.rol. in enhancing the l.ght emission of 1l.WS_(2)in our 0D/2D hybrid *** findings p.esent a convenient method for enhancing the p.oto-resp.nse of 1l.WS_(2)to UV l.ght and offer exciting p.ssibil.ties for harvesting UV energy using 1l.TMD.
