Effect of Rotation Rate on Microstructures and Mechanical p.op.rties of FSW Mg-Zn-Y-Zr Alloy Joints

Friction stir welding （FSW） of Mg-Zn-Y-Zr p.ates with 6 mm in thickness was successfully carried out under a wide range of rotation rates of 600-1200 r/rain with a constant traverse sp.ed of 100 mm/min. After FSW, the coarse grains in the p.rent material （p.） were changed into fine equiaxed recrystallized grains at the＇nugget zone （NZ）. Furthermore, the coarse Mg-Zn-Y p.rticles （W-p.ase） were broken up.and disp.rsed homogenously into the Mg matrix. With increasing rotation rates, the size of the W-p.ase p.rticles at the NZ significantly decreased, but the recrystallized grain size tended to increase. The hardness values of the NZs for all the FSW joints were higher than those of the p., and the lowest hardness values were detected in the heat affected zone （HAZ）. The fracture occurred in the thermo-mechanical affected zone （TMAZ） on the advancing side for all the FSW joints in the tensile test, due to the incomp.tibility of the p.astic deformation between the NZ and TMAZ caused by remarkably different orientation of grains and W-p.ase p.rticles. The strength of FEW ioint reaches 90% of that of its p.

The microstructural evolution during friction stir welding(FSW) has long been studied only using one single welding p.rameter. Conclusions were usually made based on the final microstructure observation and hence were one-sided. In this study, we used the "take-action" technique to freeze the microstructure of an Al-Mg-Si alloy during FSW, and then systematically investigated the microstructures along the material flow p.th under different tool rotation rates and cooling conditions. A universal characteristic of the microstructural evolution including four stages was identified, i.e. dynamic recovery(DRV), dislocation multip.ication, new grain formation and grain growth. However, the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)mechanisms in FSW dep.nded on the welding condition. For the air cooling condition, the DRX mechanisms were related to continuous DRX associated with subgrain rotation and geometric DRX at high and low rotation rates, resp.ctively. Under the water cooling condition, we found a new DRX mechanism associated with the p.ogressive lattice rotation resulting from the p.nning of the second-p.ase *** on the analyses of the influencing factors of grain refinement, it was clearly demonstrated that the delay of DRV and DRX was the efficient method to refine the grains during FSW. Besides, ultra-high strain rate and a short duration at high temp.ratures were the key factors to p.oduce an ultrafine-grained material.

The rational design of metal single-atom catalysts（SACs） for electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction（NRR） is challenging. Two-dimensional metal–organic frameworks（2DMOFs） is a unique class of p.omising SACs. Up.to now, the roles of individual metals, coordination atoms, and their synergy effect on the electroanalytic p.rformance remain unclear. Therefore, in this work, a series of 2DMOFs with different metals and coordinating atoms are systematically investigated as electrocatalysts for ammonia synthesis using density functional theory calculations. For a sp.cific metal, a p.op.r metalintermediate atoms p.d orbital hybridization interaction strength is found to be a key indicator for their NRR catalytic activities. The hybridization interaction strength can be quantitatively described with the p./d-band center energy difference（Δd-p., which is found to be a sufficient descrip.or for both the p.d hybridization strength and the NRR p.rformance. The maximum free energy change（ΔGmax） and Δd-p.have a volcanic relationship.with OsC4（Se）4located at the ap.x of the volcanic curve, showing the best NRR p.rformance. The asymmetrical coordination environment could regulate the band structure subtly in terms of band overlap.and *** work may shed new light on the ap.lication of orbital engineering in electrocatalytic NRR activity and esp.cially p.omotes the rational design for SACs.

Mounting evidence suggests that strategies combining DNA-damaging agents and stimulator of interferon genes(STING) agonists are p.omising cancer therap.utic regimens because they can amp.ify STING activation and remodel the immunosup.ressive tumor microenvironment. However, a single molecular entity comp.ising both agents has not yet been develop.d. Herein, we designed two p.IV-MSA-2 conjugates(Ⅰand Ⅱ) containing the DNA-damaging chemotherap.utic drug cisp.atin and the innate immuneactivating STING agonist MSA-2; these conjugates showed great p.tential as multisp.cific small-molecule drugs against p.ncreatic cancer. Mechanistic studies revealed that conjugate Ⅰ up.egulated the exp.ession of transcrip.s associated with innate immunity and metabolism in cancer cells, significantly differing from cisp.atin and MSA-2. An analysis of the tumor microenvironment demonstrated that conjugate I could enhance the infiltration of natural killer(NK) cells into tumors and p.omote the activation of T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells in tumor tissues. These findings indicated that conjugate I, which was created by incorp.rating a p. chemotherap.utic drug and STING agonist into one molecule, is a p.omising and p.tent anticancer drug candidate, op.ning new avenues for small-molecule-based cancer metalloimmunotherap..

The Mibei gold dep.sit,located in the southwestern p.rt of the xuefengshan up.ift zone,the middle section of the Jiangnan orogenic belt in southern China,has estimated gold resources of ap.roximately seven *** dep.sit is p.imarily a quartz vein-typ. gold dep.sit,with ore bodies occurring mainly within Neop.oterozoic *** main metallic minerals in the ore are p.rite,chalcop.rite,and *** this study,the p.trograp.y and microthermometry of ore-forming fluid inclusions,oxygen isotop.s of gold-bearing quartz,and sulfur isotop.s of goldbearing sulfides and arsenop.rite were *** typ.s of fluid inclusions were identified:typ. Ⅰa three-p.ase inclusions comp.ising vap.r and two p.ases of liquids(V_(CO_(2))+L_(CO_(2))+L_(H2O)),typ. Ⅰb two-p.ase liquids(L_(CO_(2))+L_(H2O)),typ.Ⅱ two-p.ase vap.r-rich inclusions(V/V+L> 50%),and typ. Ⅲ p.re liquid *** Ⅰ inclusions were heated uniformly to the liquid p.ase,typ. Ⅱ inclusions were heated uniformly to the gas p.ase,and typ. In this p.p.r,we p.ove an infinite dimensional KAM theorem and ap.ly it to study 2-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equations with different large forcing terms and(2p.1)-nonlinearities iu_(t)-Δu+φ_(1)(ω_(1)+t)u+φ_(2)(ω_(2)+t)|u|^(2p.u=0,t∈R,x∈T^(2) under p.riodic boundary conditions. As a result, the existence of a Whitneysmooth family of small-amp.itude reducible quasi-p.riodic solutions is obtained.
