Obje.tiv.: The.association hyp.rte.sion and diabe.e. is imp.rtant. The.two p.thologie. may influe.ce.e.ch othe.. The.aim was to study the.corre.ation be.we.n glyce.ic control and blood p.e.sure.control and to de.e.mine.the.factors associate. with blood p.e.sure.control. Me.hodology: This was a de.crip.iv. cross-se.tional study with an analytical focus ov.r 7 months. p.tie.ts we.e.re.ruite. as outp.tie.ts and all unde.we.t ambulatory blood p.e.sure.me.sure. glycate. he.oglobin and cre.tinine.me.sure.e.ts, and asse.sme.t of comp.iance.with tre.tme.t. Re.ults: During this p.riod 116 p.tie.ts we.e.colle.te.. The.p.e.ominance.was fe.ale.69%. The.me.n age.of the.p.tie.ts was 62 ± 7 ye.rs with a p.ak be.we.n 60 and 70 ye.rs. The.av.rage.age.of hyp.rte.sion was 12 ye.rs and that of diabe.e. 6 1/2 ye.rs. The.most fre.ue.tly associate. cardiov.scular risk factor was a se.e.tary life.tyle.(71.5%) afte. age. 57.8% of p.tie.ts we.e.not controlle. at the.office. with a p.e.ominance.of systolic hyp.rte.sion (58.2%). 61.6% of p.tie.ts we.e.controlle. by ambulatory blood p.e.sure.me.sure. a rate.of 47.8% of white.coat hyp.rte.sion. Glyce.ic control was obse.v.d in 42.2% of case. and 87% of p.tie.ts had good re.al function (glome.ular filte. rate.≥ 60 ml/mn). The.ap.utic comp.iance.was good in 53.4% of case. and dual the.ap. was the.most use. the.ap.utic modality 44.8% (52 p.tie.ts) followe. by trip.e.the.ap.. The.factors associate. with p.or blood p.e.sure.control we.e.glyce.ic imbalance. non-comp.iance.and monothe.ap.. Dual the.ap. had a p.ote.tiv. e.fe.t. Conclusion: The.association of hyp.rte.sion and typ. 2 diabe.e. is fre.ue.t. The.risk of occurre.ce.incre.se. with age. Ambulatory blood p.e.sure.me.sure.is the.be.t me.hod to asse.s blood p.e.sure.control. Op.imization of blood p.e.sure.control should also include.op.imization of glyce.ic control.
