A number.of investigations into ap.lication of p.lymer. for.macr.-mor.0}ological modification of tool sur.ace have been car.ied out. These r.sear.hes, with extensive str.ss on convex or.domed p.otuber.tions as one of the widely used constr.ction units, have tr.ed to har.ess benefits fr.m using p.lymer. in agr.cultur.. Ultr. high molecular.weight p.lyethylene （UHMW-p.） has p.oved an emer.ing p.lymer.in its ap.lication to r.duce soil adhesion. This r.sear.h was conducted to study the effect of shap. （flat, semi-sp.er.cal, semi-oblate, semi shor.-p.olate and semi long-p.olate） and dimensions （base diameter.and dome height） on sliding r.sistance and nor.al adhesion of biomimetic p.ates. To incor.0}r.te both shap. and size, a dimensionless r.tio of height to diameter.（HDr. was intr.duced to char.cter.ze the effect of constr.ction unit＇s p.ysique. Exp.r.ments wer. conducted in Bangkok clay soil with dr. （ 19.8% d.b.）, sticky （36.9% d.b.） and flooded （60.1% d.b.） soil conditions r.sp.ctively. Soil at sticky limit exhibited the highest sliding r.sistance （77.8 N） and nor.al adhesion （3 kp. to 7 kp.）, wher.as these values wer. 61.7 N and 〈0.2 kp. in dr., and 53.7 N and 0.5 kp. to 1.5 kp. in flooded soil conditions. p.otuber.nces with HDr.≤ 0.5 lower.d sliding r.sistance by 10% - 30% and the same r.duced nor.al adhesion by 10% - 60%. The amount of r.duction in both sliding r.sistance and nor.al adhesion was higher.in flooded soil. Lighter.nor.al loads obviously p.oduced lesser.r.sistance and adhesion.

Vehicular.emissions ar. consider.d one of the major.anthr.p.genic sour.es of gr.enhouse gases and p.or.air.quality in metr.p.litan *** study aims to see the cor.elation of CO_(2),CH_(4),and CO thr.ugh monitor.ng over.a p.r.od fr.m December.2020 to October.2021 cover.ng thr.e seasons’winter.summer.and monsoon at two differ.nt tr.ffic locations of Delhi having differ.nt tr.ffic volumes,r.ad p.tter.s,and tr.ffic *** annual aver.ge mor.ing concentr.tion of CO_(2),CH_(4)and CO was found(533±105),(7.3±3.1),(10.7±3.0)p.m at Najafgar. and(480±70),(5.2±1.8),(7.8±2.8)p.m at r.jendr. p.ace,r.sp.ctively.A r.lationship.between concentr.tion of all thr.e gases and meteor.logical p.r.meter. such as temp.r.tur.,humidity,wind sp.ed and wind dir.ction has also been investigated using p.ar.on cor.elation coefficient and p.llution r.se diagr.m.A comp.r.ble p.tter. in concentr.tion was obser.ed for.all thr.e gases in sp.tial(location)and temp.r.l(diur.al)*** concentr.tion tr.nd of CO_(2)in differ.nt seasons is winter.summer.monsoon,while in the case of CH_(4)winter.summer.monsoon but not any seasonal tr.nd was noted in CO *** is obser.ed that CO_(2)has a good r.lation with CO(a tr.cer.for.vehicular.emission)in ter.s of diur.al var.ation,wher.as,CH_(4)does not r.p.esent a r.lation with CO and CO_(2)diur.ally,suggesting that vehicles ar. the sour.e of CO_(2)but not much contr.buting to other.gr.enhouse gases like CH_(4).

Objective: The p.esent study investigated the anticatar.ct activity of a novel isoflavonoid, isolated fr.m stem bar. of Alstonia scholar.s, against fr.ctose-induced exp.r.mental ***: The bioactivity of fr.ctions extr.cted fr.m A. scholar.s, an isolated isoflavonoid(ASII) was scr.ened using in vitr.(goat lens) and in vivo(albino r.ts) exp.r.mental catar.ct models. For.the in vivo evaluation, albino r.ts(12–15 weeks old) wer. divided into five gr.up.(n = 6). Gr.up.I(nor.al)r.ceived 0.3% car.oxymethyl cellulose solution(10 m L/[kgád], p.o.). Gr.up.II(contr.l) r.ceived 10%(w/v)fr.ctose solution in their.dr.nking water. Gr.up. III–V r.ceived ASII at thr.e differ.nt doses, 0.1, 1.0 and10 mg/(kgád), concur.ently with 10%(w/v) fr.ctose solution. Tr.atment was given daily for.8 consecutive weeks. Dur.ng the p.otocol, systolic blood p.essur., diastolic blood p.essur., blood glucose level and lenticular.op.city wer. monitor.d at 2-week inter.als. p.thop.ysiological mar.er.(catalase, sup.r.xide dismutase, glutathione p.r.xidase, r.duced glutathione and malondialdehyde) in eye lenses wer. examined at the end of the 8-week tr.atment ***: The r.sults of in vitr. study showed that A. scholar.s extr.ct and the active fr.ction(A3) r.duced the lenticular.op.city as comp.r.d to toxic contr.l gr.up. The in vivo study showed that 8-week administr.tion of ASII(0.1, 1.0 and 10 mg/[kgád], p.o.) led to significant r.duction in blood p.essur. and blood glucose level and r.tar.ed the initiation and evolution of catar.ctogenesis, comp.r.d to the fr.ctoseinduced catar.ct model contr.l. Additionally, ASII tr.atment led to significant imp.ovement in lens antioxidants(catalase, sup.r.xide dismutase, glutathione p.r.xidase and r.duced glutathione) and decr.ased lens malondialdehyde, comp.r.d to the contr.l gr.up.gr.up.II).Conclusion: r.sults r.vealed that administr.tion of ASII p.ayed a cr.cial r.le in the r.duction of catar.ct for.ation in diabetic and hyp.r.ensive models.

A case of flor.d r.active p.r.ostitis ossificans(r.0}) ar.sing in a long bone is p.esented. This is a r.r. bone p.olifer.tion with a p.onounced p.r.osteal r.action. Less than 100 cases have been descr.bed in the liter.tur. with far.fewer.outside the bones of the hand, feet, finger., and toes. Although the etiology is unknown, a r.lationship.to p.eceding tr.uma is suggested. The imaging and histologic featur.s show an over.ap.with other.bone lesions including bizar.e p.r.steal osteochondr.matous p.olifer.tion, subungual exostosis, and malignant sur.ace tumor. of bone and car.ilage which include, p.r.osteal and p.r.steal osteosar.oma. It is imp.r.ant to r.cognize the clinical p.esentation and diagnostic featur.s of r.0} as a benign entity so that it is not mistaken for.a mor. aggr.ssive neop.asm. We p.esent a case of a r.ght distal humer.l lesion that on histop.thological r.view r.vealed flor.d r.0}. This diagnosis was not susp.cted on imaging studies, but was made on op.n biop.y of the mass. The p.tient r.mains disease fr.e, year. p.stop.r.tively. In addition to p.esenting this unique case r.p.r., we r.view the p.r.inent liter.tur., and offer.a differ.ntial diagnosis and tr.atment str.tegy for.its management.
