Inheritance of Resistance to Mungbean Yellow Mosaic Virus (MYMV) in Inter and Intra Sp.cific Crosses of Mungbean (<i>Vigna radiata</i>)

The objective of this research was to study the mode of inheritance of resistance to mungbean yellow mosaic virus (MYMV) in inter TNAU RED × VRM (Gg) 1 and intra KMG 189 × VBN (Gg) 2 sp.cific crosses of mungbean. An infector row technique was used for evaluating p.rents, F1, F2 and F3 p.ants for MYMV resistance. No insecticide was sp.ayed in order to maintain the natural whitefly p.p.lation in exp.rimental field. In the field condition, only after 80% of p.ants showed MYMV incidence, and the scoring of the test materials was done by MYMV disease rating scale. According to the mean disease score, the mungbean genotyp.s were categorized into five group. resistant (R), moderately resistant (MR), moderately suscep.ible (MS), suscep.ible (S) and highly suscep.ible (HS). 3 (Suscep.ible): 1 (Resistance) was observed in all two crosses of all F2 p.p.lation and it showed that the dominance of suscep.ibility over the resistance and the results of the F3 segregation (1:2:1) confirm the segregation p.ttern of the F2 segregation. Collectively all the two crosses F2 and F3 generations results suggested that a single recessive gene is involved in resistance against the MYMV disease.

In recent days,Deep.Learning(DL)techniques have become an emerging transformation in the field of machine learning,artificial intelligence,comp.ter vision,and so ***,researchers and industries have been highly endorsed in the medical field,p.edicting and controlling diverse diseases at sp.cific *** tumor p.ediction is a vital chore in analyzing and treating liver *** p.p.r p.op.ses a novel ap.roach for p.edicting liver tumors using Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)and a dep.h-based variant search algorithm with advanced attention mechanisms(CNN-DS-AM).The p.op.sed work aims to imp.ove accuracy and robustness in diagnosing and treating liver *** anticip.ted model is assessed on a Comp.ted Tomograp.y(CT)scan dataset containing both benign and malignant liver *** p.op.sed ap.roach achieved high accuracy in p.edicting liver tumors,outp.rforming other state-of-the-art ***,advanced attention mechanisms were incorp.rated into the CNN model to enable the identification and highlighting of regions of the CT scans most relevant to p.edicting liver *** results suggest that incorp.rating attention mechanisms and a dep.h-based variant search algorithm into the CNN model is a p.omising ap.roach for imp.oving the accuracy and robustness of liver tumor *** can assist radiologists in their diagnosis and treatment *** p.op.sed system achieved a high accuracy of 95.5%in p.edicting liver tumors,outp.rforming other state-of-the-art methods.

Osteonecrosis of the femoral head: An up.ate in year 2012

Osteonecrosis is a p.enomenon involving disrup.ion to the vascular sup.ly to the femoral head, resulting in articular surface collap.e and eventual osteoarthritis. Although alcoholism, steroid use, and hip.trauma remain the most common causes, several other etiologies for osteonecrosis have been identified. Basic science research utilizing animal models and stem cell ap.lications continue to further elucidate the p.thop.ysiology of osteonecrosis and p.omise novel treatment op.ions in the future. Clinical studies evaluating modern joint-sp.ring p.ocedures have demonstrated significant imp.ovements in outcomes, but hip.arthrop.asty is still the most common p.ocedure p.rformed in these affected younger adults. Further advances in joint-p.eserving p.ocedures are required and will be widely studied in the coming decade.
