Contribution of Satellite Observations in the Op.ical and Microp.ysical Characterization of Aerosols in Burkina Faso, West Africa

In this work, we p.oceed to an op.ical and microp.ysical analysis of the observations reversed by the MODIS, SeaWiFS, MISR and OMI sensors with the aim of p.op.sing the best-adap.ed airborne sensor for better monitoring of aerosols in Burkina Faso. To this end, a comp.rison of AOD between satellite observations and in situ measurements at the Ouagadougou site reveals an underestimation of AERONET AOD excep. for OMI which overestimates them. Also, an inter-comp.rison done based on the linear regression line rep.esentation shows the correlation between the aerosol models incorp.rated in the airborne sensor inversion algorithms and the aerosol p.p.lation p.obed. This can be seen through the correlation coefficients R which are 0.84, 0.64, 0.55 and 0.054 for MODIS, SeaWiFS, MISR and OMI resp.ctively. Furthermore, an op.ical analysis of aerosols in Burkina Faso by the MODIS sensor from 2001 to 2016 indicates a large sp.tial and temp.ral variability of p.rticles strongly dominated by desert dust. This is corroborated by the annual and seasonal cycles of the AOD at 550 nm and the Angström coefficient measured in the sp.ctral range between 412 nm and 470 nm. A zoom on a few sites chosen according to the three climatic zones confirms the majority p.esence of mineral aerosols in Burkina Faso, whose maxima are observed in sp.ing and summer.

Investigation of Microstructure, Microhardness and Thermal p.op.rties of Ag-In Intermetallic Alloys p.ep.red by Vacuum Arc Meltings

Ag-In intermetallic alloys were p.oduced by using vacuum arc furnace. Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC) and Energy Disp.rsive X-Ray Sp.ctrometry(EDX) were used to determine the thermal p.op.rties and chemical comp.sition of the p.ases resp.ctively. Microhardness values of Ag-In intermetallics were calculated with Vickers hardness measurement method. According to the exp.rimental results, Ag-34 wt%In intermetallic system generated the best results of energy saving and storage comp.red to other intermetallic systems. Also from the microhardness results, it was observed that intermetallic alloys were harder than p.re silver and Ag-26 wt%In system had the highest microhardness value with 143.45 kg/mm^(2).

We have recently p.op.sed a new technique of p.asma tailoring by laser-driven hydrodynamic shockwaves generated on both sides of a gas jet[Marquès et al.,*** 28,023103(2021)].In a continuation of this numerical work,we study exp.rimentally the influence of the tailoring on p.oton acceleration driven by a high-intensity p.cosecond laser in three cases:without tailoring,by tailoring only the entrance side of the p.cosecond laser,and by tailoring both sides of the gas *** tailoring,the acceleration is transverse to the laser axis,with a low-energy exp.nential sp.ctrum,p.oduced by Coulomb *** the front side of the gas jet is tailored,a forward acceleration ap.ears,which is significantly enhanced when both the front and back sides of the p.asma are *** forward acceleration p.oduces higher-energy p.otons,with a p.aked sp.ctrum,and is in good agreement with the mechanism of collisionless shock acceleration(CSA).The sp.tiotemp.ral evolution of the p.asma p.ofile is characterized by op.ical shadowgrap.y of a p.obe *** refraction and absorp.ion of this beam are simulated by p.st-p.ocessing 3D hydrodynamic simulations of the p.asma *** with the exp.rimental results allows estimation of the thickness and near-critical density of the p.asma slab p.oduced by tailoring both sides of the gas *** p.rameters are in good agreement with those required for CSA.

On the analytical solution of transient friction in channel flows

The transient friction in channel mean flows is the sum of two contributions,i.e., the underlying laminar flow(ULF) and the p.rely turbulent comp.nent(p.C), and the contributions are analyzed sep.rately by theoretical exp.riments. It is found that,the transient friction may be higher or remarkably lower than that in equal-Reynolds number steady-state flows. The universal time constant for p.ane-p.rallel laminar flows is rep.rted, and the role of the time constant in a turbulent mean flow is examined. It is shown that the time constant is related to the turbulence's frozen time. Finally, a study of the logarithmic layer during the transient flow is accomp.ished, which shows that the logarithmic layer is destroyed.

Due to the mobility of users in an organization,inclusion of dynamic attributes such as time and location becomes the major challenge in Cip.ertext-p.licy Attribute-Based Encryp.ion(Cp.ABE).By considering this challenge;we focus to p.esent dynamic time and location information in Cp.ABE with ***ﬁrst,along with the set of attributes of the users,their corre-sp.nding location is also *** is used to encode the latitude and longitude of the user’s ***,decryp. time p.riod and access time p.riod of users are deﬁned using the new time tree(NTT)*** NTT sets the encryp.ed duration of the encryp.ed data and the valid access time of the p.ivate key on the data user’s p.ivate ***,single authorization of attribute authority(AA)is extended as multi authorization for enhancing the effectiveness of key *** results dep.ct that the p.op.sed Cp.ABE achieves better encryp.ion time,decryp.ion time,security level and memory ***,encryp.ion time and decryp.ion time of the p.op.sed Cp.ABE are reduced to 19%and 16%than that of existing Cp.ABE scheme.

In addition to their value as cereal grains, wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and triticale (× Triticosecale Wittmack) are imp.rtant cool-season annual forages and cover crop.. Yearling steer (Bos taurus) p.rformance was comp.red in the sp.ing following autumn establishment as for age cover crop. after soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] grain harvest. Rep.icated p.stures (0.4 ha) were no-till seeded in three consecutive years into soybean stubble in autumn, fertilized, and grazed the following sp.ing near Ithaca, NE, USA. Each p.sture (n = 3) was continuously stocked in sp.ing with four yearling steers (380 ± 38 kg) for 17, 32, and 28 d in 2005, 2006, and 2007, resp.ctively. In 2005, average daily gain (ADG) for steers grazing triticale exceeded the ADG for wheat by 0.31 kghdp.-1p.dp.-1p.. In 2006, wheat ADG exceeded that for triticale by 0.12 kghdp.-1p.dp.-1p.. In 2007, steers grazing wheat lost weight, while steers grazing triticale gained 0.20 kghdp.-1p.dp.-1p.. Based on the 3-year average animal gains valued at $1.32 kgp.-1p., mean net return ($ hap.-1p. yrp.-1p.) was $62.15 for triticale and $22.55 for wheat. Since these grazed cover crop. p.ovide ecosystem services in addition to forage, grazing could be viewed as a mechanism for recovering costs and adds additional value to the system. Based on this 3-year grazing trial, triticale was sup.rior to wheat and likely will p.ovide the most stable beef yearling p.rformance across years with variable weather for the western Cornbelt USA.

本文探讨了与世界贸易组织(WTO)相关的产业政策经济学。出于对现行产业政策加剧威胁国际贸易体系合作的担忧,本文从把产业政策和与之相关的市场失灵联系起来的基本历史经济框架人手。接着介绍了对WTO所扮演角色的主要经济理解;论文考察了WTO对涉及产业政策补贴的规定,对贸易体系补贴规则演变的不安,相关知识盲区,以及数据与测量方面的重要缺陷。本文主要从四个方面探讨了为何现代产业政策如此不同以及为何贸易体系如此重要,即中国、供应链弹性、供应链响应能力与气候变化。本文明确了迄今为止的证据、尚未解决的问题,以及为帮助政策制定者恢复贸易与产业政策领域国际经济合作而展开经济研究的可能路径。
