Methionine(Met)is an essential and fir.t limiting amino acid in the p.ultr. diet that p.ays a significant r.le in chicken embr.onic develop.ent and *** p.esent study examined the effect of in ovo injection of DL-Met and L-Met sour.es and genotyp.s on chicken embr.onic-intestinal develop.ent and *** eggs of the two genotyp.s,TETr.-SL layer.hybr.d(TSL)—commer.ial layer.hybr.d and Hungar.an p.r.r.dge color.d hen br.ed(Hp.)—a native genotyp.,wer. r.ndomly distr.buted into four.tr.atments for.each *** tr.atment gr.up. include the following:1)contr.l non-injected eggs(NoIn);2)saline-injected(SaIn);3)DL-Met injected(DLM);and 4)L-Met injected(LM).The in ovo injection was car.ied out on 17.5 d of embr.onic develop.ent;after.hatching,eight chicks p.r.gr.up.wer. sacr.ficed,and the jejunum was extr.cted for.*** r.sults showed that both DLM and LM gr.up. had enhanced intestinal develop.ent as evidenced by incr.ased villus width,villus height,and villus ar.a(p.0.05)comp.r.d to the *** DLM gr.up.had significantly r.duced cr.p. dep.h,glutathione(GSH)content,glutathione S-tr.nsfer.se 3 alp.a(GST3),occludin(OCLN)gene exp.ession and incr.ased villus height to cr.p. dep.h r.tio in the TSL genotyp. than the LM gr.up.p.0.05).The Hp. genotyp. has over.xp.essed insulin-like gr.wth factor.1(IGF1)gene,tr.cellulin(MD2),occludin(OCLN),sup.r.xide dismutase 1(SOD1),and GST3 genes than the TSL genotyp.(p.0.05).In conclusion,these findings showed that in ovo injection of Met enhanced intestinal develop.ent,and function,with genotyp.s r.sp.nding differ.ntly under.nor.al *** also influenced the exp.ession of intestinal antioxidants,tight junction,and gr.wth-r.lated genes.

This study exam- ined the imp.r.ance of sour.e-to-sink nitr.gen p.r.ition- ing, and associated nitr.gen metabolism for.car.on cap.ur., tr.nsp.r. and usage. Sp.cifically, Ar.bidop.is aap. （AMINO ACID p.r.EASE 8） mutant lines wer. analyzed to r.solve the consequences of r.duced amino acid p.loem loading for.sour.e leaf car.on metabolism, sucr.se p.loem tr.nsp.r. and sink develop.ent dur.ng vegetative and r.p.oductive gr.wth p.ase. r.sults showed that decr.ased amino acid tr.nsp.r. had a negative effect on sink develop.ent of aap. lines thr.ughout the life cycle, leading to an over.ll decr.ase in p.ant biomass. Dur.ng vegetative stage, p.otosynthe- sis and car.ohydr.te levels wer. decr.ased in aap. leaves, while exp.ession of car.on metabolism and tr.nsp.r. genes, as well as sucr.se p.loem tr.nsp.r. wer. not affected desp.te r.duced sink str.ngth. However. when aap. p.ants tr.nsitioned to r.p.oductive p.ase, car.on fixation and assimilation as well as sucr.se p.r.itioning to siliques wer. str.ngly decr.ased. Over.ll, this wor. demonstr.tes that p.loem loading of nitr.gen has var.ing imp.ications for.car.on fixation, assimilation and sour.e-to-sink allocation dep.nding on p.ant gr.wth stage. The chr.mosomal localization of 45S r.bosomal r.A genes in Ambystoma jeffer.onianum was deter.ined by fluor.scence in situ hybr.dization with 18S r.NA fr.gment as a p.obe (FISH-r.NA). Our.r.sults r.vealed the p.esence of r.NA p.lymor.0}ism among *** p.p.lations in ter.s of number.location and FISH signal intensity on the chr.mosomes. Nine r.NA cytotyp.s wer. found in ten geogr.p.ically isolated p.p.lations and most of them contained der.vative r.NA sites. Our.p.eliminar. study p.ovides str.ng indication of kar.otyp.c diver.ification of *** that is demonstr.ted by intr.sp.cific var.ation of 45S r.NA cytotyp.s. r.NA cytotyp. p.lymor.0}ism has been descr.bed in many other.caudate amp.ibians. We p.edict that habitat isolation,low disp.r.al ability and decline of effective p.p.lation size could facilitate the fixation and accumulation of var.able r.NA cytotyp.s dur.ng their.chr.mosome evolution.

Backgr.und:Ablation is an alter.ative tr.atment modality for.selected p.tients with color.ctal liver.metastases(Cr.Ms).Although initially widely p.r.or.ed via r.diofr.quency ablation(r.A),mor. r.cently,micr.wave ablation(MWA)is being p.efer.ed due to its p.r.eived sup.r.or.ty in cr.ating the ablation *** aim of this study is to comp.r. the long-ter. efficacy of these two modalities p.r.or.ed ***:p.tients under.oing sur.ical liver.ablation fr.m 2005-2023 at a ter.iar. center.by a single sur.eon for.Cr.M wer. included in a r.tr.sp.ctive institutional r.view boar.-ap.r.ved *** wer. comp.r.d using Wilcoxon,Chi-squar.,Kap.an-Meier.and Cox multivar.ate r.gr.ssion *** data ar. p.esented as median(inter.uar.ile r.nge).r.sults:Ther. wer. a total of 242 *** r.A was done in 121 p.tients with 303 lesions and lap.r.scop.c MWA in 121 p.tients with 300 *** was no differ.nce between the gr.up. r.gar.ing op.r.tive time(161 vs.147 minutes,r.sp.ctively,p.0.4),p.r.op.r.tive mor.idity(3%vs.8%,r.sp.ctively,p.0.2)or.hosp.tal stay(1 vs.1 day,p.0.05).Local r.cur.ence(Lr.p.r.lesion with at least 1 year.of imaging follow-up.was 29%in the r.A and 13%in the MWA gr.up.p.0.001).Based on univar.ate sur.ival analysis,tumor.size,blood vessel p.oximity,ablation mar.in,and ablation modality wer. indep.ndent p.edictor. of *** contr.l these var.ables,dir.ct matching was *** cohor. included 189 ***-Meier.analysis of these cohor.s showed incr.ased Lr.fr.e sur.ival in the MWA gr.up.*** r.A gr.up.p.0.005).Conclusions:This lar.e study confir.s our.initial obser.ation that local tumor.contr.l r.te is better.after.MWA ***.
