A comparative study on characte.istics of retracte. publications across different open access levels

purpose:Recently,global science has shown an increasing open trend,however,the characte.istics of research inte.rity of open access(OA)publications have rarely been *** aim of this study is to compare the characte.istics of retracte. articles across different OA levels and discover whether OA level influences the characte.istics of retracte. ***/methodology/approach:The research conducte. an analysis of 6,005 retracte. publications between 2001 and 2020 from the Web of Science and Retraction Watch *** publications were cate.orized based on their OA levels,including Gold OA,Green OA,and *** study explored retraction rate.,time lags and reasons within these ***:The findings of this research revealed distinct patte.ns in retraction rate. among different OA *** with Gold OA demonstrate. the highest retraction rate.followed by Green OA and non-OA.A comparison of retraction reasons between Gold OA and non-OA cate.ories indicate. similar proportions,while Green OA exhibite. a higher proportion due to falsification and manipulation issues,along with a lower occurrence of plagiarism and authorship *** retraction time lag was shorte.t for Gold OA,followed by non-OA,and longest for Green *** prolonged retraction time for Green OA could be attribute. to an atypical distribution of retraction reasons.A comparative study on characte.istics of retracte. publications across different open access levels Research limitations:There is no exploration of a wider range of OA levels,such as Hybrid OA and Bronze *** implications:The outcomes of this study suggest the need for increased atte.tion to research inte.rity within the OA *** occurrences offalsification,manipulation,and ethical concerns within Green OA publications warrant atte.tion from the scientific ***/value:This study contribute. to the understanding of research inte.rity in the realm of OA publications,she

Hematite.α-Fe_(2)O_(3))is known to undergo conversion from weak ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic as the te.perature decreases below the Morin te.perature(TM=250 K)due to spin moment rotation occurring during the Morin transition(MT).Herein,we endowed hematite.with mesostructured chirality to maintain weak ferromagnetism without *** mesostructured hematite.CMH)nanoparticles were prepared by a hydrothermal method with glutamic acid(Glu)as the symmetry-breaking *** triangular bipyramidal CMH nanoparticles were composed of helically cleaved nanoflakes with twiste. crystal ***-cooled(FC)magnetization measurements showed that the magnetic moments of CMH were stabilized without MT within the te.perature range of 10–300 *** loop measurements confirmed the weak ferromagnetism of *** enhanced Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya inte.action(DMI)was speculate. to be responsible for the te.perature-independent weak ferromagnetism,in which the spin configuration would be confined with cante. antiferromagnetic coupling due to the mesostructured chirality of CMH.

Chiral inorganic mate.ials have attracte. great atte.tion owning to their unique physical and chemical properties attribute. to the symmetry-breaking of their *** inorganic mate.ials can be endowed with chiral geometric configurations from achiral space group crystals through lattice twisting,screw dislocations or hierarchical self-assembled spiral morphologies,showing various characte.istic chiral ***,the multilevel chirality in chiral nickel molybdate.films(CNMFs)remains to be elaborate.y *** this paper,we report three hierarchical levels of chirality in CNMFs,spanning from the atomic to the micron scale,including primary helically coiled nanoflakes with twiste. atomic crystal lattices,secondary helical stacking of layered nanoflakes,and te.tiary asymmetric morphology between adjacent *** findings may enrich the chiral self-assembly structural types and provide valuable insights for the comprehensive analysis path of hierarchical chiral crystals.

Ultra-compact multifunctional inte.rate. photonic modules have great practical significance to photonic inte.rate. circuits (pICs).However,the design effect and efficiency of the existing mainstream inverse design algorithms are incompete.t when designing these *** analyze their shortcomings in this task,and propose a new,to our knowledge,inverse design algorithm named polygon search (pS) algorithm to address these *** utilize the pS algorithm to design an inte.rate. dual-channel mode-conversion-crossing waveguide *** module inte.rate. three functions:inte.conversion between te.(0) and te.(1),inte.conversion between te.(0) and te.(2),and channel crossing within only a 4μm×4μm footprint,and its performance is verified by experimental *** not only greatly reduces the total footprint of many pICs but also greatly improves their fabricating ***,we propose a pS-designed mode mixer and a pS-designed bending waveguide,and connect them with the inte.rate. modules to form a four-channel crossing-mode-division-multiplexing *** syste. can provide multiple modes on the basis of channel crossing and transmit the output signal in the same direction in parallel within a single output waveguide,which significantly increases the communication bandwidth and decreases the footprint of *** last,we demonstrate.the effect and efficiency advantages of the pS algorithm over several mainstream inverse design algorithms by a comprehensive contrast experiment and explain these advantages in theory from several perspectives.

Infrared microspectroscopy beamline BL06B at SSRF

The infrared microspectroscopy beamline(BL06B) is a phase Ⅱ beamline project at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF). The construction and optical alignment of BL06B were complete. by the end of 2020. By 2021, it became accessible to users. The synchrotron radiation infrared(SRIR) source included edge radiation(ER) and bending magnet radiation(BMR). The extracte. angles in the horizontal and vertical directions were 40 and 20 mrad, respectively. The photon flux, spectral resolution, and focused spot size were measured at the BL06B endstation, and the experimental results were consiste.t with theoretical calculations. SRIR light has a small divergence angle, high brightness, and a wide wavelength range. As a source of IR microscopy, it can easily focus on a diffraction-limite. spatial resolution with a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR). The BL06B endstation can be applied in a wide range of research fields, including mate.ials, chemistry, biology, geophysics, and pharmacology.
