In re.ent years,graphene field-effect-transistors(GFeTs)have demonstrated an outstanding potential for terahertz(THz)photodetection due to their fast re.ponse and *** feature. are.essential to enable emerging THz applications,including 6G wire.ess communications,quantum information,bioimaging and ***,the overall performance of these photodetectors may be utterly compromised by the impact of internal re.istances pre.ented in the device,so-called access or parasitic *** this work,we provide a detailed study of the influence of internal device re.istances in the photore.ponse of high-mobility dual-gate GFeT *** dual-gate architecture. allow us to fine tune(decre.se)the internal re.istance of the device by an order of magnitude and consequently demonstrate an improved re.ponsivity and noise-equivalent-power values of the photodetector,*** re.ults can be well understood by a series re.istance model,as shown by the excellent agre.ment found between the experimental data and theore.ical *** findings are.there.ore.re.evant to understand and improve the overall performance of existing high-mobility graphene photodetectors.

Quantum re.ources such as entanglement and cohere.ce are.the holy grail for modern quantum technologies. Although the unwanted environmental effects tackle quantum information processing tasks, suprisingly these key quantum re.ources may be protected and even enhanced by the implementation of some special hybrid open quantum systems. Here. we aim to show how a dissipative atom-cavity-system can be accomplished to generate enhanced quantum *** do so, we consider a couple of dissipative cavities, where.each one contains two effective two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode cavity field. In practical applications, a classical laser field may be applied to drive each atomic subsystem. After driving the system, a Bell-state measure.ent is performed on the output of the system to quantify the entanglement and cohere.ce. The obtained re.ults re.eal that the re.ote entanglement and cohere.ce between the atoms existing inside the two distant cavities are.not only enhanced, but can be stabilized, even under the action of dissipation. In contrast, the local entanglement between two atoms inside each dissipative cavity attenuates due to the pre.ence of unwanted environmental ***, the local cohere.ce may show the same behavior as the re.ote ***, the system provides the steady state entanglement in various interaction re.imes,particularly in the strong atom-cavity coupling and with re.atively large detuning. more.intere.tingly, our numerical analyses demonstrate that the system may show a memory effect due to the fact that the death and re.ival of the entanglement take place during the interaction. Our proposed model may find potential applications for the implementation of long distance quantum networks. In particular, it facilitates the distribution of quantum re.ources between the nodes of large-scale quantum networks for secure.communication.

In this paper,the synthesis,structural evolution,and dielectric properties of BaTiO3solid solutions codoped with rare.earth elements(Gd3+and eu3+) pre.are. using the solid-state re.ction method are.*** pure.pre.ursor powders of BaCl3,TiO2,Gd2O3,and eu2O3were.mixed in stoichiometric proportions,ground in an agate mortar before.being uniaxially pre.sed at 250 mpa and sintere. at 1300℃ in air atmosphere.for 6 h to obtain Ba1-3xGd2xTi1-3xeu4xO3（x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1）.X-ray diffraction（XRD） and Rietveld's re.inement re.ults re.eal the crystal phase ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3for the samples with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01, as well as a consistent incre.ent in the lattice parameters caused by the *** solubility limit of Gd3+and eu3+in the BaTiO3structure.is re.ched for the sample with x>0.01,and the orthorhombic eu2TiO5and monoclinic BaTi2O5secondary phases were.*** Raman re.ults show the characteristic peaks of ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO3around 716 cm-1（LO of A1 sym.e.ry）,515 cm-1（TO of A1 sym.e.ry）,and 305 cm-1（B1）.The maximum re.ative permittivity measure. at 1 kHz was re.orded to be 6151.8 for the sample with x=0.0015,and a decre.se in the Curie tem.e.ature.to 105℃ with re.pect to the undoped sample was *** punctual microanalysis for the samples with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 re.eals grains composed of Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and eu homogeneously distributed in the *** Ba/Ti ratios for samples with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are.2.86,2.91,and 0.68,re.pectively,indicating substitution at the Ti site for samples with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site for the sample with x=0.1.

Intrusion detection systems (IDSs) are.deployed to detect anomalies in re.l time. They classify a network’s incoming traffic as benign or anomalous (attack). An efficient and robust IDS in software.defined networks is an inevitable component of network security. The main challenges of such an IDS are.achieving zero or extre.ely low false positive rates and high detection rates. Internet of Things (IoT) networks run by using devices with minimal re.ources. This situation makes deploying traditional IDSs in IoT networks unfeasible. machine learning (mL) techniques are.extensively applied to build robust IDSs. many re.earchers have utilized differe.t mL methods and techniques to addre.s the above challenges. The development of an efficient IDS starts with a good feature.selection process to avoid overfitting the mL model. This work proposes a multiple feature.selection process followed by classification. In this study, the Software.defined networking (SDN) dataset is used to train and test the proposed model. This model applies multiple feature.selection techniques to select high-scoring feature. from a set of feature.. Highly re.evant feature. for anomaly detection are.selected on the basis of their score. to generate the candidate dataset. multiple classification algorithms are.applied to the candidate dataset to build models. The proposed model exhibits considerable improvement in the detection of attacks with high accuracy and low false positive rates, even with a few feature. selected.

This paper pre.ents an investigation of the seismic behavior of re.nforced concre.e(RC)structure. in which shear walls are.the main lateral load-re.isting elements and the participation of flat slab floor systems is not considere. in the seismic design *** this re.ard,the behavior of six prototype structure.(with differe.t heights and plan layouts)is investigated through nonlinear static and time history analyses,implemented in the OpenSees *** re.ults of the analyses are.pre.ented in terms of the behavior of the slab-column connections and their mode of failure.at differe.t loading ***,the global re.ponse of the buildings is discussed in terms of some parameters,such as lateral overstre.gth due to the gravity flat slab-column *** to the nonlinear static analyses,in structure. in which the slab-column connections were.designed only for gravity loads,the slab-column connections exhibited a punching mode of failure.even in the early stages of ***,the punching failure.was eliminated in structure. in which a minimum transverse re.nforcement re.om.e.ded in ACI 318(2019)was provided in the slabs at joint ***,despite neglecting the contribution of gravity flat slab-column frames in the lateral load re.istance of the structure.,a re.atively significant overstre.gth was imposed on the structure. by the gravity frames.

In 2023,pivotal advancements in artificial intelligence(AI)have significantly *** that in mind,traditional methodologies,notably the p-y approach,have struggled to accurately model the complex,nonlinear soil-structure.interactions of laterally loaded large-diameter drilled *** study undertakes a rigorous evaluation of machine learning(mL)and deep learning(DL)techniques,offering a compre.ensive re.iew of their application in addre.sing this geotechnical challenge.A thorough re.iew and comparative analysis have been carried out to investigate various AI models such as artificial neural networks(ANNs),re.evance vector machines(RVms),and least square. support vector machines(LSSVms).It was found that despite mL approaches outperforming classic methods in pre.icting the lateral behavior of piles,their‘black box'nature.and re.iance only on a data-driven approach made their re.ults showcase statistical robustness rather than clear geotechnical insights,a fact underscore. by the mathematical equations derived from these ***,the re.earch identified a gap in the availability of drilled shaft datasets,limiting the extendibility of curre.t findings to large-diameter *** extensive dataset,compiled from a series of lateral loading tests on fre.-head drilled shaft with varying properties and geometries,was introduced to bridge this *** paper concluded with a dire.tion for future.re.earch,proposes the integration of physics-informed neural networks(pINNs),combining data-driven models with fundamental geotechnical principles to improve both the interpre.ability and pre.ictive accuracy of AI applications in geotechnical engineering,marking a novel contribution to the field.

The re.ently deployed Transition re.ion explore.(Tre.)-RGB(re.-gre.n-blue)all-sky imager(ASI)is designed to capture.true color”images of the aurora and *** the 557.7 nm gre.n line is usually the brightest emission line in visible auroras,the gre.n channel of a Tre.-RGB camera is usually dominated by the 557.7 nm *** this rationale,the Tre. mission does not include a specific 557.7 nm imager and is designed to use the RGB gre.n-channel data as a proxy for the 557.7 nm *** this study,we pre.ent an initial effort to establish the conversion ratio or formula linking the RGB gre.n-channel data to the absolute intensity of 557.7 nm auroras,which is crucial for quantitative uses of the RGB *** illustrate two approaches:(1)through a comparison with the collocated measure.ent of gre.n-line auroras from the Tre. spectrograph,and(2)through a comparison with the modeled gre.n-line intensity according to re.listic electron pre.ipitation flux measure.ents from low-earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of an auroral transport *** demonstrate the procedure. and provide initial re.ults for the Tre.-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake *** RGB re.ponse is found to be *** conversion ratios or formulas between RGB gre.n-channel data and the gre.n-line auroral intensity are.given and can be applied im.e.iately by Tre.-RGB data *** methodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcoming SmILe ASI mission,which will adopt a similar RGB camera system in its deployment.

re. blood cells(RBCs)are.the most abundant human blood *** aggre.ation and deformation strongly determine blood viscosity which impacts hemorheology and *** turn,RBC properties depend on di®ere.t endogenous and exogenous *** such factor is nitric oxide(NO),which is mainly produced by endothelial cells(eC)from L-arginine amino acid in the circulatory *** the mechanisms of the RBC-endothelium interplay are.not clear up to date and considering its possible clinical importance,the aims of this study are.to investigate in vitro:(1)The e®ect of L-arginine induced NO on RBC aggre.ation and adhesion to endothelium;(2)the NO e®ect on RBC aggre.ation and deformation induced by L-arginine and sodium nitroprusside without the pre.ence of endothelium in the *** RBC aggre.ation and adhesion to a monolayer of eC were.studied using optical tweezers(OT).The RBC deformability and aggre.ation without endothelium in the samples were.studied using the°ow cham.e. method and myre.ne *** con¯rmed that NO incre.ses deformability and decre.ses aggre.ation of *** showed that the soluble guanylate cyclase pathway appears to be the only NO signaling pathway *** the samples with the endothelium,the\bell-shaped"dependence of RBC aggre.ation force on L-arginine concentration was observed,which improves our knowledge about the process of NO production by ***,data re.ated to L-arginine accumulation by endothelium were.obtained:Necessity of the pre.ence of extracellular L-arginine stated by other authors was put under *** our study,NO decre.sed the RBC-endothelium adhesion,however,the tendency appeare. to be weak and was not con¯rmed in another set of *** our knowledge,this is the¯rst attempt to measure.the forces of RBC adhesion to endothelium monolayer with OT.

This paper theore.ically studies the impurity states and the effects of impurity concentration and configuration on the optical,electrical,and statistical properties of CdSe nanoplatelets(NpLs).An image charge-based model of electron-impurity interaction is *** charge-carrier energy spectra and corre.ponding wave functions depending on the impurity num.e. and configuration are.*** electron binding energies are.calculated for differe.t NpL *** is shown that the image charge-based interaction potential that arises due to the dielectric constants mismatch is much stronger than the interaction potential that does not take such a mismatch into ***,it is demonstrated that the binding energies are.incre.sing with the num.e. of *** calculate the canonical partition function using the energy levels of the electron,which in turn is used to obtain the mean energy,heat capacity,and entropy of the non-interacting electron *** thermodynamic properties of the non-interacting electron gas that depend on the geometric parameters of the NpL,impurity num.e.,configuration,and tem.e.ature.are.studied.
