The novel polymer metal chelate electrolytes(polychelates)were prepared by incorporation of cobalt sulfate(Co)into poly(acrylic acid)(PAA)host ***-solid state supercapacitor devices were fabricated using polychelates,PAA-Co X(X:3,5,7,and 10)where X represents the doping fraction(w/w)of Co in *** polymer metal electrolytes were showed excellent bending-stretching properties,thermal stability and electrochemical durability with an optimum ionic conductivity of 3.15×10^(-4) S cm^(-1).hierarchically porous activated carbon and nano-sized conductive carbon were used to form carbon composite symmetrical device *** electric double-layer capacitor(EDLC)and redox reactions of Co-incorporated polychelates at the interfaces of porous activated carbon provided an optimum specific capacitance of 341.33 F g^(-1) with a device of PAA-Co7,which is at least 15 times enhancement compared to the device of pristine *** PAA-Co7 device also provided energy density of 21.25 Wh kg^(-1) at a power density of 117.69 W kg^(-1).A prolonged cyclic stability of the device exhibited superior capacitive performance after 10,000 charge-discharge cycles and the maintained 90%of its initial *** addition,the supercapacitor with a dimension of 1.5 cm×3 cm containing PAA-Co7 successfully operated the red-blue-green(RGB)LED light.

Until recently, many computational materials scientists have shown little interest in materials databases. This is now changing be-cause the amount of computational data is rapidly increasing and the potential for data mining provides unique opportunities for discovery and optimization. here, a few examples of such opportunities are discussed relating to structural analysis and classification, discovery of correlations between materials properties, and discovery of unsuspected compounds.

Turkish red pine is an important forest tree species because of its role in the ecosystem whose range includes many countries in the eastern Mediterranean *** addition,red pine is a preferred forest tree species due to rapid growth,usage in afforestation in arid areas and the production of non-wood forest products such as *** aim of the study was to examine the relationship between the productivity of red pine and ecosystem in the lower and middle belt of the Taurus Mountains,and to determine the interrelations between the productivity of red pine and *** analyses(multiple regression analysis and artificial neural networks)were used to model the efficiency(biomass production)of red *** the multivariate analyses,a productivity model of the species was created with the slope,soil depth,and precipitation in the driest variables.A significant correlation was found between site index and site factors in the driest *** variables had a statistically significant relationship with the site index in the multiple regression *** forecast power of the model was *** the methods used,the artificial neural network consisting of 2 L10 N(2 Layers 10 Neurons)had the highest margin of explanation(R^(2)=0.71)and the lowest margin of *** model has the potential to open land aimed for afforestation studies with red pine in forestry *** results will shed light on afforestation studies to be carried out in the Western Mediterranean region and in similar ecosystems.

This study aimed to evaluate the surface roughness and wetting properties of various dental prosthetic materials after different durations of non-thermal atmospheric plasma（NTAP）*** hundred and sixty discs of titanium（Ti）（n：40）,cobalt chromium（Co-Cr）（n：40）,yttrium stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals（Y-TZP）（n：40）and polymethylmethacrylate（PMMA）（n：40）materials were machined and smoothed with silicon carbide *** surface roughness was evaluated in a control group and in groups with different plasma exposure times [1-3-5 s].The average surface roughness（Ra）and contact angle（CA）measurements were recorded via an atomic force microscope（AFM）and tensiometer,*** changes were examined with a scanning electron microscope（SEM）.Data were analyzed with two-way analysis of variance（ANOVA）and the Tukey hSD test α=0.05）.According to the results,the NTAP surface treatment significantly affected the roughness and wettability properties（P 〈 0.05）.SEM images reveal that more grooves were present in the NTAP *** an increase in the NTAP application time,an apparent increment was observed for Ra,except in the PMMA group,and a remarkable reduction in CA was observed in all *** is concluded that the NTAP technology could enhance the roughening and wetting performance of various dental materials.

Forest fires,whether caused naturally or by human activity can have disastrous effects on the ***,located in the Mediterranean climate zone,experiences hundreds of forest fires every *** the past two decades,these fires have destroyed approximately 308000 ha of forest area,threatening the sustainability of its *** study analyzes the forest fire that occurred in the Menderes region of Izmir on July 1,2017,by using pre-and post-fire Sentinel 2(10 m and 20 m)and Landsat 8(30 m)satellite images,MODIS and VIIRS fire radiative power(FRP)data(1000 m and 375 m,respectively),and reference data obtained from a field ***,image processing techniques integrated with the Geographic Information System(GIS)database were applied to a satellite image data set to monitor,analyze,and map the effects of the forest *** results show that the land surface temperature(LST)of the burned forest area increased from 1 to 11°C.A high correlation(R=0.81)between LST and burn severity was also *** burned areas were calculated using two different classification methods,and their accuracy was compared with the reference *** to the accuracy assessment,the Sentinel(10 m)image classification gave the best result(96.43%for Maximum Likelihood,and 99.56%for Support Vector Machine).The relationship between topographical/forest parameters,burn severity and disturbance index was evaluated for spatial pattern *** to the results,the areas having canopy closure between 71%–100%and slope above 35%had the highest burn *** a final step,a spatial correlation analysis was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of MODIS and VIIRS FRP data in the postfire analysis.A high correlation was found between FRPslope,and FRP-burn severity(0.96 and 0.88,respectively).

Psychoacoustic parameters are mostly used for determining the sound quality of mechanical *** have also started to be used for evaluating soundscapes of open areas and enclosed *** research aims to find out the relationship between the psychoacoustic parameters and acoustic comfort in non-acoustic enclosed public spaces,specifically in eating *** on-site measurements and laboratory listening tests were conducted for five eating *** on-site measurements,a simultaneous questionnaire study was also carried *** and objective data were comparatively *** tests were based on auralizations with calibrated simulation *** provided a research model,that allows control over the acoustic environment without having to make real changes in the physical elements of the eating *** auralization sound files were presented to listening test participants with headphones and they evaluated soundscapes with different psychoacoustic *** results,better acoustic comfort was found to be related with higher sharpness,lower reverberation time,lower loudness and lower roughness values for the examined parameter ranges.

Ecoregion-based height-diameter models were developed in the present study for Scots pine(Pinus sylves-tris L.)stands in Turkiye and included several ecological factors derived from a pre-existing ecoregional classification *** data were obtained from 2831 sample trees in 292 sample *** generalized height–diameter models were developed,and the best model(hD10)was selected according to statistical ***,nonlinear mixed-effects modeling was applied to the best *** R2 for the generalized height‒diameter model(Richards function)modified by Sharma and Parton is 0.951,and the final model included number of trees,dominant height,and diameter at breast height,with a random parameter associated with each ecoregion attached to the inverse of the mean basal *** full model predictions using the nonlinear mixed-effects model and the reduced model(hD10)predictions were compared using the nonlinear sum of extra squares test,which revealed significant differences between ecore-gions;ecoregion-based height–diameter models were thus found to be suitable to *** addition,using these models in appropriate ecoregions was very important for achieving reliable predictions with low prediction errors.

The Effect of the Grinding Time on the Mechanical Activation of MnO2 Ore and Tea Plant Waste Carbonization Product

In this study, pyrolusiteore （MnO2） was subjected to mechanical milling with a high-energy mill with carbonized tea plant wastes and the effect of grinding time on the crystal structure of the material was investigated. The ratio of Mn/Fe was 8/1, the ratio of C/（MnO2 ＋ Fe3O4） was 2 and the ratio of ball to ore was 10/1. The samples were mechanically ground at 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90 and 120 hours. In the processes performed on the attritor, the rotation speed of the mill shaft was determined to be 350 rpm. The results were characterized by TG-DTA, SEM and XRD analyzes. As a result of the experimental studies, it was observed that the samples subjected to mechanical grinding for 120 hours were gradually reduced due to the increasing grinding time at all the diffraction peaks when the XRD peaks were compared with the grinding times. In the thermogravimetric analysis, the sample milled for 120 hours, 50% weight loss was observed at 470 ℃, weight loss of up to 56% was observed at progressive temperatures.

Driftwood is one of the important physical components in mountainous rivers which causes severe hazards due to the clogging of bridges,culverts,and narrow sections during ***,the understanding of driftwood dynamics and mitigation measures are crucial for managing wood in *** check dams are the most commonly used engineering measure for preventing driftwood from reaching downstream ***,these open check dams frequently lose their sediment transport function when they are blocked by sediment and driftwood,especially during major flood *** paper proposes a new type of open check dam for preventing from ***,flume experiments were conducted to examine the influence of different types of open check dams on the characteristics of driftwood *** the model with wood length(LWD)=16.5 cm,wood diameter(D)=15 mm,and wood number(N)=172,the highest trapping efficiency was observed with 90.1%and 87.2%retention rates for the classical debris flow breaker and curved footed open check dams,*** tests showed that through this proposed design,woody debris blockage in a very short time was prevented from the accumulation of woods beside the *** addition to this,most of the sediment passed through the check dam and most of the driftwood got *** can be briefly stated that the geometrical design of the structure plays an important role and can be chosen carefully to optimize trapping *** designing this type of open check dams in mountain river basins,it may provide a better understanding of the driftwood accumulation and basis for the optimal design of these *** development of the solution proposed in this work can pave the way for designing different types of open check dams for effective flood management.
