Power Control and Routing Selection for Throughput Maximization in Energy Harvesting Cognitive Radio Networks

This paper investigates the power control and routing problem in the communication process of an energy harvesting(EH)multi-hop cognitive radio network(CRN).The secondary user(SU)nodes(i.e.,source node and relay nodes)harvest energy from the environment and use the energy exclusively for transmitting *** SU nodes(i.e.,relay nodes)on the path,store and forward the received data to the destination *** consider a real world scenario where the EH-SU node has only local causal knowledge,i.e.,at any time,each EH-SU node only has knowledge of its own EH process,channel state and currently received *** order to study the power and routing issues,an optimization problem that maximizes path throughput considering quality of service(QoS)and available energy constraints is *** solve this optimization problem,we propose a hybrid game theory routing and power control algorithm(HGRPC).The EH-SU nodes on the same path cooperate with each other,but EH-SU nodes on the different paths compete with each *** selecting the best next hop node,we find the best strategy that can maximize *** addition,we have established four steps to achieve routing,i.e.,route discovery,route selection,route reply,and route *** with the direct transmission,HGRPC has advantages in longer distances and higher hop *** algorithm generates more energy,reduces energy consumption and increases predictable residual *** particular,the time complexity of HGRPC is analyzed and its convergence is *** simulation experiments,the performance(i.e.,throughput and bit error rate(BER))of HGRPC is ***,experimental results show that HGRPC has higher throughput,longer network life,less latency,and lower energy consumption.

Portfolio diversification benefits of alternative currency investment in Bitcoin and foreign exchange markets

This study examines the portfolio diversification benefits of alternative currency trading in Bitcoin and foreign exchange *** following methods are applied for the analysis:the spillover index method of Diebold and Yilmaz(Int J Forecast 28(1):57–66,***://***/10.1016/*** ecast.2011.02.006),the spillover asymmetry measures of Barunik et al.(J Int Money Finance 77:39–56,***://***/10.1016/*** fin.2017.06.003),and the frequency connectedness method of Barunik and Křehlik(J Financ Econom 16(2):271–296,***://***/10.1093/jjfin ec/nby001).The findings identify the presence of low-level integration and asymmetric volatility spillover as well as a dominant role of short horizon spillover among Bitcoin markets and foreign exchange pairs for six major trading currencies(US dollar,euro,Japanese yen,British pound sterling,Australian dollar,and Canadian dollar).Bitcoin is found to provide significant portfolio diversification benefits for alternative currency foreign exchange *** currency Bitcoin trading in euro is found to provide the most significant portfolio diversification benefits for foreign exchange portfolios consisting of major trading *** findings of the study regarding spillover dynamics and portfolio diversification capabilities of the Bitcoin market for foreign exchange markets of major trading currencies have significant implications for portfolio diversification and risk minimization.

Spectrum resources are the precious and limited natural *** order to improve the utilization of spectrum resources and maximize the network throughput,this paper studies the resource allocation of the downlink cognitive radio network with non-orthogonalmultiple access(CRN-NOMA).NOMA,as the key technology of the fifth-generation communication(5G),can effectively increase the capacity of 5G *** optimization problem proposed in this paper aims to maximize the number of secondary users(SUs)accessing the system and the total throughput in the *** the constraints of total power,minimum rate,interference and SINR,CRN-NOMA throughput is maximized by allocating optimal transmission ***,for the situation of multiple sub-users,an adaptive optimization method is proposed to reduce the complexity of the optimization ***,for the optimization problem of nonlinear programming,a maximization throughput optimization algorithm based on Chebyshev and convex(MTCC)for CRN-NOMA is proposed,which converts multi-objective optimization problem into single-objective optimization problem to *** the same time,the convergence and time complexity of the algorithm are *** analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively improve the system *** terms of interference and throughput,the performance of the sub-optimal solution is better than that of orthogonal-frequency-division-multiple-access(OFDMA).This paper provides important insights for the research and application of NOMA in future communications.

Vehicle lane change maneuvering could have a substantial influence on traffic flow and safety as a result of their interfering influence in the surrounding *** interference effect of lane changing could be more pronounced when vehicles maneuvers horizontally and change the white road *** freeway crashes occur in the vicinity of interchange diverging and merging areas,especially in speed-change *** vehicles maneuvers in different lanes during a lane *** alteration in maneuvering is due to the influence of surrounding vehicles which impose on the lane change *** study is exploring the factors attribution in making lane change prediction through Shapley Additive ***,in order to predict the maneuvering in terms of lane changes on the urban arterial,accurate machine learning modelling is *** developing machine learning models,real data are used to set up explanatory variables and to the evaluation of *** study will help traffic engineers and manager to a better understanding of the how various lane change maneuvering takes place and the impact of lane change on traffic operation and *** results showed that the trained logistic regression model achieved an accuracy of 70%,while the accuracy of Light GBM classifier with tunned hyper-parameters was 73.4% in predicting the lane changing instant and the surrounding traffic characteristics on lane change *** under the ROC was pretty *** the SHAP value analysis,it was found that the vehicle dimensions(length,Width)and velocity shows a significant impact on lane changing decision,and also lane changing with insufficient space headway gap makes the collision risk higher and driver engage in lane changing *** larger space headway lane change urgency *** same behavior has been found with the following gap in current lane and gap acceptance in the target *** the case of preceding and following vehicle speed in the

近十年来,同步定位和绘图(SLAM)的技术已经得到广泛应用,先对的研究也不断深入。为了将其应用于自动驾驶、室内测绘和救援应用,研究人员尤其关注SLAM的精度。目前SLAM算法能够利用多个传感器进行信息融合,传感器的数量与定位的精度成正比。精确定位不仅是自动驾驶车辆的重要需求,它也是也是测绘和搜救应用中的关键需求,例如洞穴探测,人体救援等。激光雷达是一种广泛用于SLAM中的传感器,但他在实际应用中存在一定缺点。在6自由度空间中变换2D激光雷达视角能够获取360度空间雷达数据,但由于雷达的线性和角度运动会使获取的点云失真。之前为克服这些错误而开发的算法大多只能离线计算,它们倾向于通过随时间实施循环闭包来纠正点云的配准。为了实现实时运算,需要额外使用像摄像头。本论文的研究重点是通过利用IMU数据改进扫描配准算法,从而消除点云中的运动失真。该技术可以在保持低成本解决方案的同时,对复杂环境进行详细而精确的建图。为了精确设定使激光雷达的运动,我们使用Arduino控制步进电机来设定激光雷达的位置,这样无需额外的角度传感器。另外通过计算点到平面迭代最近点算法以确保精确的点云配准。配准的点被分类为由里程计算法确定的边缘点和平面点。在测距法内的运动估计子算法考虑了时间戳,传感器角度和IMU信息,通过计算边缘和平面点的相对距离信息,减少了错误配准的可能性。特征点区域将地图转换为人类易于阅读的形式。另外实现了建图和测距算法,使该方法成为实时方法。相比之下,先前的算法为了获得比后验更好的结果不得不被设计成以低得多的频率运行以。在研究的实现方案中,IMU单元可选的。但试验表明当他与IMU数据一起使用时,所设计的为建图和特征提取提供了实质性改进。该算法的未来改进是通过调整算法是的他能够使用低成本传感器的建图。

Environmental risk factors for inflammatory bowel diseases: Evidence based literature review

AIM: To advances in genetics and immunology have contributed to the current understanding of the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD). METHODS: The current opinion on the pathogenesis of IBD suggests that genetically susceptible individuals develop intolerance to dysregulated gut microflora(dysbiosis) and chronic inflammation develops as a result of environmental insults. Environmental exposures are innumerable with varying effects during the life course of individuals with IBD. Studying the relationship between environmental factors and IBD may provide the missing link to increasing our understanding of the etiology and increased incidence of IBD in recent years with implications for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Environmental factors are heterogeneous and genetic predisposition, immune dysregulation, or dysbiosis do not lead to the development of IBD in isolation. RESULTS: Current challenges in the study of environmental factors and IBD are how to effectively translate promising results from experimental studies to humans in order to develop models that incorporate the complex interactions between the environment, genetics, immunology, and gut microbiota, and limited high quality interventional studies assessing the effect of modifying environmental factors on the natural history and patient outcomes in ***: This article critically reviews the current evidence on environmental risk factors for IBD and proposes directions for future research.

Analysis of the anomalous magnetic mineral intensities and geochemistry for placer gold deposits are presented for those of the Attock area at the confluence of the Indus and Kabul rivers in northwestern *** grids covering an area of 10 x18 m2 and 8 x10 m2 were analyzed using a G-858 Cesium Vapor *** anomalous zones obtained were plotted on contour maps,2 D and 3 D magnetic intensity *** on the magnetic anomalies,grid-1 of the study area was sampled at three different anomalous zones for geochemical *** zones contain gold concentrations,ranging from 2.11 ppm to 6.109 ppm with an average of 4.01 *** in gold concentration in the subsurface within the anomalous zones indicates that magnetometer survey followed by a geochemical analysis can potentially narrow down the gold-bearing anomalous zones.

Real-time visual inspection system for grading fruits using computer vision and deep learning techniques

Traditional manual visual grading of fruits has been one of the important challenges faced by the agricultural industry due to its laborious nature as well as inconsistency in inspec-tion and classification *** defects detection using computer vision and machine learning has become a promising area of research with a high and direct impact on the domain of visual *** this study,we propose an efficient and effective machine vision system based on the state-of-the-art deep learning techniques and stack-ing ensemble methods to offer a non-destructive and cost-effective solution for automat-ing the visual inspection of fruits’freshness and *** trained,tested and compared the performance of various deep learning models including ResNet,DenseNet,MobileNetV2,NASNet and EfficientNet to find the best model for the grading of *** proposed system also provides a real time visual inspection using a low cost Raspberry Pi module with a camera and a touchscreen display for user *** real time sys-tem efficiently segments multiple instances of the fruits from an image and then grades the individual objects(fruits)*** system was trained and tested on two data sets(apples and bananas)and the average accuracy was found to be 99.2% and 98.6% using EfficientNet model for apples and bananas test sets,***,a slight improvement in the recognition rate(0.03% for apples and 0.06% for bananas)was noted while applying the stacking ensemble deep learning *** performance of the developed system has been found higher than the existing methods applied to the same data sets ***,during real-time testing on actual samples,the accuracy was found to be 96.7% for apples and 93.8% for bananas which indicates the efficacy of the developed system.
