The operation of biomass treatment devices such as gasifiers is based on the control of key parameters that play an important role in product formation. These include: temperature, excess oxygen, relative humidity and biomass composition. This work focuses on excess oxygen and temperature. Unfortunately, flue gas oxygen analyzers are expensive and not accessible to small industries. However, the equivalence ratio is linked to excess oxygen and has the advantage of not depending on biomass composition. This study therefore focuses on the design and development of a device for controlling this equivalence ratio by measuring oxygen concentration using a self-propelled Lambda probe, and a system for monitoring this equivalence ratio using an Arduino Uno 3 microcontroller. The temperature is recorded with an accuracy of ±1.5°C. For a heating time of 10 minutes, the response time to temperature change is around 3 seconds, which is sufficient for the device to function properly. This simple device is an efficient and cost-effective means of checking the equivalence ratio.

This study aims to show the aptitude of a locally made composite for providing thermal comfort and mechanical resistance in buildings in hot-dry *** thermal characterization reveals that the thermal diffusivity of the studied material is lower than that of commonly used materials such as agglomerated and full cinderblocks and laterite blocks and therefore is a better insulating *** addition,its thermal inertia is the highest compared to commonly used materials of agglomerated and full cinderblocks,laterite blocks and compressed earth blocks,which implies a longer time *** the basis of mechanical resistance,with a compression resistance of 3.61 MPa,the studied material meets the requirement of CRATerre and NBF 02-003(2009)as a material for construction of single-storey ***,this material,containing 1%Hibiscus sabdariffa fibers and compacted by vibration,is a suitable material for the walls of standing buildings and for thermal comfort in hot dry climates.

Sediment deposition in reservoirs is an important research topic in engineering practice. Reservoir sedimentation has the potential to affect flood levels, drainage for agricultural land, pump station and hydropower operation as well as navigation. This paper describes the development of a coupled fully three-dimensional(3 D) numerical model for the prediction of the local sediment flushing scour upstream of the bottom outlet. The presented numerical model solves the Navier-Stokes equations in conjunction with the k-ε turbulence model which includes both sediment transport and hydrodynamic parameters. The proposed coupled fully 3 D numerical model is used to simulate experimental tests based on non-cohesive sediment. The geometric features of the scour hole(temporal and spatial hole development) upstream of the bottom outlet were reasonably well predicted compared to the experimental data. Furthermore, the velocity field upstream of the bottom outlet was in good agreement with measurements. The proposed numerical model for bottom outlet flushing was, therefore, validated because of its ability to accurately predict the scour hole development during the flushing process. The proposed numerical model can be considered reliable provided that the model is correctly calibrated and set up to reflect the conditions of a particular case study.

类萌发素蛋白(Germin-like protein,GLPs)是植物中一类胁迫响应蛋白,参与植物的多种生物与非生物胁迫应答反应过程,它与小麦(Triticum aestivum)的萌发素(germin)基因序列高度相似,是位于胞外基质的一种可溶性糖蛋白。海马齿是一种盐生植物,生长在热带沿海地区,为番杏科(Aizoaceae),海马齿属(***)的双子叶、多年沙生草本兼性盐生植物,因可以通过在细胞和组织中收集大量盐分,并在极高的盐度条件下存活,又被称为盐分收集器。为研究海马齿的耐盐机制并挖掘它的耐盐相关蛋白和基因,本研究运用多组学数据和生物信息学的分析手段对获得的海马齿GLPs基因家族进行鉴定分析,并对筛选到的SpGLP19家族成员进行了后续的转基因功能验证研究。主要研究内容及结果如下:1.在这项研究中,利用实验室前期获得的海马齿叶片响应不同浓度(0、300和600 mM)NaCl胁迫的双向电泳技术(2DE)的蛋白质组学数据,在鉴定到的96种盐响应蛋白中,筛选到了一种重要的盐响应候选蛋白,即类萌发素蛋白GLP,在2DE凝胶中的被鉴定到的该蛋白质位点为45、86、89和92。结果表明:这些蛋白位点对NaCl胁迫高度敏感,且在600 mM处理后显示显著增强的表达水平,提示可能在海马齿属植物中存在相似的GLP,在耐盐响应中起到重要作用,因此选择GLP基因进一步进行了基因家族分析,验证该蛋白在海马齿耐盐中调控的生物学功能。2.通过生物信息学的手段对海马齿的GLP家族成员进行全基因组分析鉴定,共有50个SpGLP基因被系统地鉴定,并分布在17条不同密度的染色体上,亚细胞定位预测显示这些GLP家族成员分布在细胞外。根据系统发育树分析,将海马齿、水稻和拟南芥中的GLP蛋白分为3大类(A、B和C),结果表明,这些GLP家族在功能和特征进化方面是高度多样化的。基于外显子-内含子组织分析发现,SpGLP成员具有相似的外显子-内含子结构,但内含子长度和外显子大小存在较大偏差,这为研究SpGLP成员之间的基因功能和进化关系提供了更多信息。采用多序列比对和保守基序分析研究表明SpGLP蛋白家族都具有来自萌发蛋白样蛋白家族的保守结构域。根据MEME online工具对这些保守基序的分析发现所有SpGLP成员序列中都存在cupin基序,而进化树同一分支中成员的保守基序分布更为相似,说明海马齿GLP的蛋白质具有相似的功能。通过对GLP家族的鉴定为海马齿耐盐性关键候选基因筛选提供了重要信息。另外,SpGLP基因在海马齿生长发育中可能起到不同作用,因此以海马齿不同组织和不同转录组数据以及不同盐度处理海马齿的转录组数据分析构建海马齿组织特异性和不同盐度的GLP基因表达模式,该部分数据为实验室所有,结果表明GLP基因成员在不同组织和时期中的表达水平存在一定差异,其中SpGLP26在成熟叶片中的丰度最高,SpGLP22、SpGLP37、SpGLP38、SpGLP39主要在嫩叶中表达,SpGLP49、SpGLP40、SpGLP42在幼茎中的表达水平最高。值得注意的是,SpGLP19在对照组叶片中的表达量较低,而它是在不同浓度的NaCl处理后诱导的表达水平随NaCl浓度的增加而增加,这可能表明SpGLP19在对盐的响应中起作用,后面结合生理生化和分子生物学方法对海马齿盐进行胁迫实验筛选关键候选耐盐基因进行表达量验证。3.对不同盐梯度(0、300和600 mM)处理下的海马齿进行逆境胁迫的生理指标测定和对筛选的几个候选基因进行qRT-PCR实验验证。结果显示随着海马齿植株盐度胁迫增加,对照组株高与300 mM NaCl胁迫无显著差异,600 mM NaCl胁迫时显著降低;而叶绿素和含水量先上升后下降,丙二醛含量、脯氨酸含量含量显著上升,可溶性糖含量无显著变化,表明一定盐度范围内的海马齿仍可正常生长,当超过300 mM NaCl的胁迫才开始对海马齿生长产生影响,这已经远高于模拟的海水浓度(200 mM NaCl)的生长值。此外,选取的几个候选基因的qRT-PCR的结果表明:SpGLP19、SpGLP22、SpGLP26、SpGLP38、SpGLP50、SpGLP36的荧光定量结果与转录组测序结果基本一致,证明了该测序的高可靠性,其中的SpGLP19基因表达量不同盐度胁迫后与对照相比,分别显著增加了4倍和8倍,进一步表明SpGLP19在对盐的响应中可能起到关键作用,因此以SpGLP19作为候选基因构建过表达载体进行后续的拟南芥转基因功能验证实验。4.构建了海马齿盐胁迫响应候选基因SpGLP19的植物过表达载体,以模式植物拟南芥为材料进行遗传转化实验获得转基因拟南芥种子,通过培养基抗性筛选和目的条带扩增获得阳性株的T3代种子,分别进行培养基和土培的盐胁迫

Background The savannah ecosystems of Sahel have experienced continuous and heavy grazing of livestock for centuries but still,their vegetation response to grazing pressure remains poorly *** this study,we analysed the herbaceous plant dynamics,measured by species diversity,composition,cover,and biomass in response to grazing pressure in the savannah ecosystems of *** Senegal,we selected four savannah sites represented with high,moderate,light and no grazing intensity *** survey methods were used for sampling the vegetation data within each of the *** richness and composition were analysed using species accumulation curve and multivariate ***,we used General Linear Models and a piecewise Structural Equation Model(pSEM)to examine the relationships between grazing intensity,vegetation cover,diversity and *** The herbaceous species diversity and composition varied significantly among the different grazing intensity levels(p<0.001).The plant species composition shifted from the dominance of grass cover to the dominance of forb cover with increasing grazing ***,the attributes of species diversity,herbaceous biomass,and ground cover were higher on sites with low grazing than sites with high and moderate grazing *** all sites,species diversity was positively related to total *** pSEM explained 37%of the variance in total biomass and revealed that grazing intensity negatively influenced total biomass both directly and indirectly through its negative influence on species *** Managing grazing intensity may lead to higher plant production and higher mixed forage establishment in the dryland savannah *** information can be used to support land management strategies and promote sustainable grazing practices that balance the needs of livestock with the conservation of ecosystem health and biodiversity.

This paper introduces the concept of semi-continuity of complex fuzzy functions, and discusses some of their elementary properties, such as the sum of two complex fuzzy functions of type I upper (lower) semi-continuity is type I upper (lower) semi-continuous, and the opposite of complex fuzzy functions of type I upper (lower) semi-continuity is type I lower (upper) semi-continuous. Based on some assumptions on two complex fuzzy functions of type I upper (lower) semi-continuity, it is shown that their product is type I upper (lower) semi-continuous. The paper also investigates the convergence of complex fuzzy functions. In particular, sign theorem, boundedness theorem, and Cauchy's criterion for convergence are kept. In this paper the metrics introduced by Zhang Guangquan was used. This paper gives a contribution to the study of complex fuzzy functions, and extends the corresponding work of Zhang Guangquan.

Bush fire is one of the drivers of biodiversity loss ***,the impact of bush fires on biodiversity in the West Africa Sahel is not well ***,this study reviewed the effects of bush fires on biodiversity,the typology of the bush fire drivers and bush fires solutions in the West Africa Sahel via a systematic *** authors used many research engines such as Google Scholar and Mendeley from 2010 to 2022 with some keywords in French and *** comes from the analysis of the data that Mali is the most country affected by bush fires with an average of 35,000,000 ha *** Burkina Faso,bush fires burned more than 2 million hectares each *** analysis showed also a loss of 1,675,157 ha in Niger and 56,568.10 ha in *** study recommends that climate actions should target bush fires prevention and fighting as climate response in order to promote sustainable biodiversity management in the West Africa *** study recommends also that West Africa Sahel countries develop bushfire community education programs for fire prevention.

Introduction: Fibromatosis colli is a congenital muscle tumor with an incidence of 0.4%. This lesion is fibrous involving the sternocleidomastoid muscle, discovered after a few weeks of life in a patient who had known or unknown perinatal trauma. Rarely bilateral, it evolves spontaneously favorably in a few weeks or months in the vast majority of cases. Objectives: The purpose of this work is to bring the interest in ultrasound in the management of fibromatosis colli. Material and Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study covering a period of 21 months from December 2019 to December 2021 in the medical imaging department of the medical clinic “Marie Cuire” in Bamako. The variables analyzed were age, sex and ultrasound results. The ultrasound system used was General Electric (GE). Data analysis was performed using Excel software. Results: During the 21-month study period, 1260 infants were seen in our service, including 0.95% for cervical swelling. We had a male predominance with 8 cases out of 12 cases and the age of the patients was mainly between 21 days and 30 days. The diagnosis was made by ultrasound, which revealed within the Sterno-cleido-mastoid muscle (MSCM) a hypo-isoechoic or heterogeneous oblong mass or thickening without any other associated anomaly. Conclusion: Cervical ultrasound is a significant examination in the management of fibromatosis colli for diagnostic confirmation and therapeutic follow-up.

This research work consisted in making a comparative study of the thermal comfort of four materials types used in the construction of a building.A simulation of the building with the various materials on the KoZiBu software in reference and optimized situation was carried out.A study on the sensitive and air-conditioning loads as well as the curves of temperatures on a building of type F2 in situation of reference and in optimized situation was made on the one hand and the other hand a study on the same building without air-conditioning in reference and optimized ***,the analysis of the results favorizes the choice of the material having the best thermal *** conclusions of these works show that the material that can give the best comfort and the most economics in terms of energy is the adobe which offers temperatures(301.40K or 28.40°C)and a good indoor thermal environment compared to BLT(blocks of cut laterite),BTC(blocks of compressed earth)and cinder *** built with earthen materials offer a better indoor thermal environment than those built with modern construction materials,which are used more and more in the construction of houses in Burkina Faso.
