The design of dry-running friction pairings and systems determines not only their installation space and costs,but also their reliability under critical load conditions,for example in emergencies,in the case of faults,and in the event of *** knowledge of the contact pattern is highly important for the development of clutches and brakes,the contact-related measurement of the temperature of these systems has not yet been solved in a satisfactory *** its importance,the temperature distribution has only been measured in a few ***,temperature measurements of complete clutches and brakes are carried out using thermocouples *** this study,a new innovative test setup is *** setup is able to measure the heat distribution of the lining and the steel disk of a brake with high spatial resolution by means of fiber optic sensing technology and *** a novelty,it enables measurement of the heat distribution and allows to correlate it with the fade and recovery *** to the expectations,the contact pattern is heterogeneous in circumferential *** causes are discussed using simulation *** with surface analysis,the new setup contributes to the investigation of the causes of fade and recovery.

Symbiotic root nodules are root lateral organs of plants in which nitrogen-fixing bacteria(rhizobia)convert atmospheric nitrogen to *** formation and number of nodules in legumes are precisely controlled by a rhizobia-induced signal cascade and host-controlled autoregulation of nodulation(AON).However,how these pathways are integrated and their underlying mechanisms are ***,we report that microrNA172c(mir172c)activates soybean(Glycine max)r hizobia-induced CLE1(GmrICI)and GmrIC2 by removing the transcriptional repression of these genes by Nodule Number Control 1(NNC1),leading to the activation of the AON ***1 interacts with GmNINa,the soybean ortholog of Lotus NODULE INCEPTION(NIN),and hampers its transcriptional activation o i G m rICI and ***,GmNINa acts as a transcriptional activator of ***,NNC1 can transcriptionally repress mir172c expression,adding a negative feedback loop into the NNC1 regulatory ***,GmNINa interacts with NNC1 and can relieve the NNC1-mediated repression of mir172c ***,the GmNINa-mir172c-NNC1 network is a master switch that coordinately regulates and optimizes NF and AON signaling,supporting the balance between nodulation and AON in soybean.

This study examines experimentally the effect of stators on the performance and heat transfer characteristics of small axial cooling fans. A single fan impeller, followed by nine stator blades in the case of a complete stage, was used for all the experimental configurations. Performance measurements were carried out in a constant speed stage performance test rig while the transient liquid crystal technique was used for the heat transfer measurements. Full surface heat transfer coefficient distributions were obtained by recording the temperature history of liquid crystals on a target plate. The experimental data indicated that the results are highly affected by the flow conditions at the fan outlet. Stators can be beneficial in terms of pressure drop and efficiency, and thus more economical operation, as well as, in the local heat transfer distribution at the wake of the stator blades if the fan is installed very close to the cooling object. However, as the separation distance increases, enhanced heat transfer rate in the order of 25% is observed in the case of the fan impeller.

The use of bio-based materials in buildings has become more and more significant last *** most of the cases,their health properties and natural provenance have made them a great solution to face global climate warming and the new policies to reduce building energy *** many thermal problems,biobased materials can allow to optimize the building thermal behavior according to its energy consumption and inside comfort *** it is when they are used as an insulation material in the ***,it is not the case in this *** fact,the bio-based matter is rather used as a desiccant wheel to control air conditioning inside the *** aim of this paper is to numerically verify if it is possible to use a bed of wood chips as a hygroscopic material(or a desiccant matter)in order to modify the relative humidity inside the building in reunion Island and so improve thermal comfort.A simple model of heat and mass transfer between a bed of wood chips and building inside air has been set up and implemented into a validated building simulation code named *** simulations were set up for the four climate zones of the island regulations and a focus has been made on the low altitude one(with high,solar irradiation,temperature and relative humidity).Simulation results give the thermal behavior of the building particularly the temperature and relative humidity of inside air temperature,and temperature and moisture content of wood *** obtained results lead to determine if the wood chips bed is suitable for the reference building and to verify its technical feasibility(wood species,size of the bed,integration to the building,etc.).The results show that the use of a WCB help to decrease the building inside air temperature and water content up to 10°C less and 11.6 ***-1 *** are the ways to improve inside comfort ***,comfort analysis have shown the possibility to significantly increase building users’thermal comfort
