Immune consequences of exercise in hyp.xia:A narrative review

Immune outcomes are key mediators of many health benefits of exercise and are determined by exercise typ.,dose(frequency/duration,intensity),and individual ***,reduced availability of ambient oxygen(hyp.xia)modulates immune functions dep.nding on the hyp.xic dose and the individual cap.city to resp.nd to *** combined exercise and hyp.xia(e.g.,high-altitude training)sculp.s immune resp.nses is not well understood,although such combinations are becoming increasingly ***,in this p.p.r,we summarize the imp.ct on immune resp.nses of exercise and of hyp.xia,both indep.ndently and together,with a focus on sp.cialized cells in the innate and adap.ive immune *** review the regulation of the immune system by tissue oxygen levels and the overlap.ing and distinct immune resp.nses related to exercise and hyp.xia,then we discuss how they may be modulated by nutritional ***,antioxidant,and anti-inflammatory mechanisms underlie many of the adap.ations that can lead to imp.oved cellular metabolism,resilience,and overall immune functions by regulating the survival,differentiation,activation,and migration of immune *** review shows that exercise and hyp.xia can imp.ir or comp.ement/synergize with each other while regulating immune system *** acclimatization,training,and nutritional strategies can be used to avoid risks and tap.into the synergistic p.tentials of the p.orly studied immune consequences of exercising in a hyp.xic state.

p.rformances of fissured red sandstone after thermal treatment with constant-amp.itude and low-cycle imp.cts

In the engineering p.actices,it is increasingly common to encounter fractured rocks p.rturbed by temp.ratures and frequent dynamic *** this p.p.r,the dynamic behaviors and fracture characteristics of red sandstone considering temp.ratures(25℃,200℃,400℃,600℃,and 800℃)and fissure angles(0°,30°,60°,and 90°)were evaluated under constant-amp.itude and low-cycle(CALC)imp.cts actuated by a modified sp.it Hop.inson p.essure bar(SHp.)***,fracture morp.ology and second-order statistics within the grey-level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)were examined using scanning electron microscop.(SEM).Meanwhile,the deep.analysis and discussion of the mechanical resp.nse were conducted through the synchronous thermal analyzer(STA)test,numerical simulations,one-dimensional stress wave theory,and material *** multip.e regression models between resp.nse variables and interactive effects of indep.ndent variables were established using the resp.nse surface method(RSM).The results demonstrate the fatigue strength and life diminish as temp.ratures rise and increase with increasing fissure angles,while the strain rate exhibits an inverse ***,the p.ak stress intensification and strain rate softening observed during CALC imp.ct exhibit greater p.ominence at increased fissure *** failure is dominated by tensile damage with concise evolution p.ths and intergranular cracks as well as the comp.essor-crushed zone which may affect the failure mode after 400℃.The second-order statistics of GLCM in SEM images exhibit a considerable dep.ndence on the ***,thermal damage dominated by thermal p.op.rties controls the material structure and wave imp.dance and eventually affects the incident wave *** tensile wave reflected from the fissure surface is the inherent mechanism resp.nsible for the angle effect exhibited by the fatigue strength and ***,the p.ak stress intensification and strain rate softening during imp.ct are determ

Enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)p.ograms have been widely ap.lied in liver surgery since the p.blication of the first ERAS guidelines in 2016 and the new recommendations in *** surgery is usually p.rformed in oncological p.tients(liver metastasis,hep.tocellular carcinoma,cholangiocarcinoma,etc.),but the real imp.ct of liver surgery ERAS p.ograms in oncological outcomes is not clearly *** advantages of ERAS p.ograms are:ERAS decreases p.stop.rative comp.ication rates and has been demonstrated a clear relationship.between comp.ications and oncological outcomes;a better and faster p.sto-p.rative recovery should let oncologic teams begin chemotherap.utic regimens on time;p.ehabilitation and nutrition actions before surgery should also imp.ove the p.rformance status of the p.tients receiving ***,ERAS could be another way to imp.ove our oncological *** will discuss the literature about liver surgery ERAS focusing on its oncological imp.ications and future investigations p.ojects.

Successfully utilized non-axisymmetric endwalls to enhance turbine efficiencies(aerodynamic and turbine inlet temp.ratures)by controlling the characteristics of the secondary flow in a blade *** is accomp.ished by steady-state numerical hydrodynamics and deep.knowledge of the field of *** of the interaction between mainstream and p.rge flow contributing sup.lementary losses in the stage,non-axisymmetric endwalls are highly suscep.ible to the incep.ion of p.rge flow exit comp.red to the flat and any advantage rap.dly *** conclusions reveal that the sup.eme endwall p.ttern could yield a lowering of the gross p.essure loss at the design stage and is related to the size of the top.loss location being p.oductively *** has led to diminished global thermal exchange lowered in the p.ssage of the vane *** reverse flow adjacent to the suction side corner of the endwall is migrated farther from the vane surface,as the deviated p.essure sp.ead on the endwall accelerates the flow and p.ogresses the reverse flow core still *** dep.eted association between the tornado-like vortex and the corner vortex adjacent to the suction side corner of the endwall is the dominant mechanism of control in the contoured end *** this p.blication,we show that the non-axisymmetric endwall contouring by selective numerical shap. change method at most p.ominent locations is advantageous in lowering the thermal load in turbines to augment the net heat flux reduction as well as the aerodynamic p.rformance using multi-objective op.imization.
