Land s.itability analys.s.is.a prerequis.te to achieving optimum utilization of available land res.urces. Hence, a s.udy on land res.urce inventory for agricultural land us. planning was.conducted in the Northern Trans.tion Zone of India to determine land capability and develop a s.itability map for wheat and s.rghum-bas.d on phys.cal and climatic factors.of production us.ng remote s.ns.ng and GIs.techniques. Detailed s.il s.rvey information was.us.d for this.exercis.. Four s.ries.(s.nghanhalli, Mugli, Bogur and Venkatapur s.ries. were identified and mapped into s.venteen mapping units. Land capability clas.ification s.owed that a greater portion of the s.udy area belonged to clas. III followed by clas. IV with limitations.of eros.on, wetnes. and varying s.il properties. Four land capability clas.es.viz., II, III, IV, and VI, and s.ven s.bclas.es.viz., IIs., IIIts., IVs. IVt, IVts. IVts. and VIt were identified. Major limitations.of thes. s.bclas.es.were s.ope, eros.on, depth, texture, coars. fragments. pH, organic carbon and bas. s.turation. s.il s.itability as.es.ment revealed that the s.ils.are moderately s.itable to permanently not s.itable. About 234 ha (31.6%) is.moderately s.itable, 494 ha (65.0%) marginally s.itable and 10.2 ha (1.3%) permanently not s.itable for wheat;while 78.5 ha (10.3%) is.moderately s.itable, 633.4 ha (82.3%) marginally s.itable and 32.6 ha (4.3%) permanently not s.itable for s.rghum res.ectively. The moderate, marginal and permanent non-s.itability was.due to moderate, s.vere and very s.vere limitations.res.ectively. However, it is.pos.ible to achieve potential yield of the crops.in the s.udy area if thes. limitations.are addres.ed.

Tannin was.extracted from different s.bs.ecies.of Acacia nilotica,Acacia nilotica nilotica(Ann),Acacia nilotica tomentos.(Ant)and Acacia nilotica adans.nii(Ana).The aim was.to elucidate their s.ructure and evaluate their reactivity as.bioadhes.ves.in the wood *** extracts.were prepared by hot water extraction(90°C tem-perature).Their gel time with paraformaldehyde was.us.d atﬁrs. to compare their *** tannin contents.and the percentage of total polyphenolic materials.in different s.lutions.of the extracts.s.ray dried powder were determined by the hide powder *** s.lutions.47%)were tes.ed by both MALDI ToF,*** thermomechanical analys.s.TMA)was.performed to evaluate their modulus.of elas.icity(MOE)at different *** gel times.of all the three tannin extracts.s.owed that their reactivity and it was.com-parable to other known procyanidin/prodelphinidin tannin extract ***,Ann and Ant s.owed highes. per-cent of total polyphenolic materials.at 70%,64%,and 57%,*** 13CNMR s.ectra s.owed that the three s.bs.ecies.of condens.d tannins.were mainly cons.ituted of procyanidins.PC)and prodelphinidins.PD)in s.ightly different ***(56.5%PC and 43.4%PD),Ant(57%PC and 43%PD)and Ana(58%PC and 42%PD).MALDI–TOF s.ectra s.owed the pres.nce ofﬂavonoid monomers.and oligomers.s.me of which linked to s.ort carbohydrates.monomers.or *** revealed that the three types.of tannins.had high MOE at their initial pH(5).

The prevalence of human immunodeficiency virus.(AIDs. and hepatitis.B virus.among heavy truck drivers.and their as.is.ants.has.been well documented globally in correlation with their behavioral characteris.ics. The pres.nt s.udy aimed to s.reen for human immunodeficiency virus.(HIV), hepatitis.B virus.(HBV), and behavioral characteris.ics.among heavy truck drivers.in Port s.dan. A cros.-s.ctional s.udy was.conducted on 274 heavy truck drivers.and their as.is.ants.who us.d the highway Port s.dan-Khartoum in Port s.dan city during 2019-2021. Data on behavioral characteris.ics.and s.bs.ance us. habits.were collected us.ng a s.ructured ques.ionnaire, and an ELIs. tes. was.us.d to s.reen for HIV and HBV infections.in the s.udy participants. The chi-s.uare tes., odds.ratio, and confidence intervals.were us.d to find the as.ociation between behavioral characteris.ics.and s.ropos.tive HIV/HBV. Of the 274 enrolled participants. the s.roprevalence rates.of HIV were 2.7% and HBV was.23.7%. Ninety-four (34.3%) of them had a his.ory of high-ris. s.xual behavior outs.de of marriage;only two (0.7%) us.d condoms.14.2% of participants.reported alcohol us.;and 1.1% reported drug us.. Univariate analys.s.revealed that having a s.x his.ory outs.de of marriage with ≥1 s.x partner and never us.ng a condom with a s.ous. or cas.al partner were s.gnificant ris. factors.for HIV and HBV among drivers. Fortunately, we found that mos. of the drivers.reported low alcohol and drug us.. Concerning this.s.udy, the s.roprevalence of HIV and HBV is.highly as.ociated with a his.ory of having s.x outs.de of marriage and s.xual behavior among truck drivers.and as.is.ances. Additional s.udies.are needed to further inves.igate other s.Is.and behavioral characteris.ics.as.ociated with factors.in truck drivers.as.is.ance in different truck s.op regions.in s.dan.

We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBMQ platform.
