There are a plethora of empirical pieces about employees’pro-environmental ***,the extant literature has either ignored or not fully examined various factors(e.g.,negative or positive non-green workplace factors)that might affect employees’pro-environmental *** these voids,the present paper proposes and tests a serial mediation model that examines the interrelationships of job insecurity,emotional exhaustion,met expectations,and proactive pro-environmental *** used data gathered from hotel customer-contact employees with a time lag of one week and their direct supervisors in *** presenting support for the psychometric properties of the measures via confirmatory analysis in LISREL 8.30,the abovementioned linkages were gauged using the PROCESS plug-in for statistical package for social *** findings delineated support for the hypothesized ***,emotional exhaustion and met expectations partly mediated the effect of job insecurity on proactive pro-environmental *** importantly,emotional exhaustion and met expectations serially mediated the influence of job insecurity on proactive pro-environmental *** findings have important theoretical implications as well as significant implications for diminishing job insecurity,managing emotional exhaustion,increasing met expectations,and enhancing ecofriendly behaviors.

Poly(methylmethacrylate)(PmmA)is a widely used material in dental applications,particularly as denture *** to thermally unstable and wet oral cavity,the implanted PmmA based resins occasionally deform and grow bacterial biofilms at the interface between oral cavity and the *** strategies attempted earlier to improve the bacterial resistance and mechanical performance of ***(ethyleneimine)(PEI)is a hyperbranched cationic polymer shown earlier to improve antibacterial activity of resins but do not improve mechanical properties of the resins alone,while silk fibroin(SF)is a natural biopolymer with unique material *** this study,we combined SF and PEI towards development of antibacterial and mechanically superior PmmA based materials towards overcoming its *** polyblend electrospinning to combine SF,PEI and PmmA,we successfully developed intrinsically antibacterial and mechanically reinforced nanofiber *** propose that the resulting nanofiber mats have the potential to be incorporated into PmmA based denture resin materials to overcome the problems of patients and improve their quality of life.

AIm:To evaluate the outcomes of patients who underwent laparoscopic repair of intra-thoracic gastric volvulus(IGV)and to assess the preoperative ***:A retrospective review of a prospectively collected database of patient medical records identified14 patients who underwent a laparoscopic repair of *** procedure included reduction of the stomach into the abdomen,total sac excision,reinforced hiatoplasty with mesh and construction of a partial *** perioperative data,operative details and complications were *** patients had at least 6 mo of ***:There were 4 male and 10 female *** mean age and the mean body mass index were 66years and 28.7 kg/m2,*** patients presented with epigastric discomfort and early *** was no mortality,and none of the cases were converted to an open *** mean operative time was235 min,and the mean length of hospitalization was 2 *** were no intraoperative *** minor complications occurred in 3 patients including pleuraleffusion,subcutaneous emphysema,dysphagia and delayed gastric *** minor complications resolved spontaneously without any *** the mean follow-up of 29 mo,one patient had a radiological wrap herniation without *** remains symptom free with daily ***:The laparoscopic management of IGV is a safe but technically demanding *** best outcomes can be achieved in centers with extensive experience in minimally invasive esophageal surgery.

Fundamental Open Questions on Engineering of “Super” Hydrogen Sorption in Graphite Nanofibers: Relevance for Clean Energy Applications

Herein, some fundamental open questions on engineering of “super” hydrogen sorption (storage) in carbonaceous nanomaterials are considered, namely: 1) on thermodynamic stability and related characteristics of some hydrogenated graphene layers nanostructures: relevance to the hydrogen storage problem;2) determination of thermodynamic characteristics of graphene hydrides;3) a treatment and interpretation of some recent STm, STS, HREELS/LEED, PES, ARPS and Raman spectroscopy data on hydrogensorbtion with epitaxial graphenes;4) on the physics of intercalation of hydrogen into surface graphene-like nanoblisters in pyrolytic graphite and epitaxial graphenes;5) on the physics of the elastic and plastic deformation of graphene walls in hydrogenated graphite nanofibers;6) on the physics of engineering of “super” hydrogen sorption (storage) in carbonaceous nanomaterials, in the light of analysis of the Rodriguez-Baker extraordinary data and some others. These fundamental open questions may be solved within several years.
