Ageing is often accompanied with a decline in immune system function,resulting in immune ageing.Numerous studies have focussed on the changes in different lymphocyte subsets in diseases and immunosenescence.The change in immune phenotype is a key indication of the diseased or healthy status.However,the changes in lymphocyte number and phenotype brought about by ageing have not been comprehensively analysed.Here,we analysed T and natural killer(NK)cell subsets,the phenotype and cell differentiation states in 43,096 healthy individuals,aged 20–88 years,without known diseases.Thirty-six immune parameters were analysed and the reference ranges of these subsets were established in different age groups divided into 5-year intervals.The data were subjected to random forest machine learning for immune-ageing modelling and confirmed using the neural network analysis.Our initial analysis and machine modelling prediction showed that na.ve T cells decreased with ageing,whereas central memory T cells(Tcm)and effector memory T cells(Tem)increased cluster of differentiation(CD)28-associated T cells.This is the largest study to investigate the correlation between age and immune cell function in a Chinese population,and provides insightful differences,suggesting that healthy adults might be considerably influenced by age and sex.The age of a person's immune system might be different from their chronological age.Our immune-ageing modelling study is one of the largest studies to provide insights into‘immune-age’rather than‘biological-age’.Through machine learning,we identified immune factors influencing the most through ageing and built a model for immune-ageing prediction.Our research not only reveals the impact of age on immune parameter differences within the Chinese population,but also provides new insights for monitoring and preventing some diseases in clinical practice.

Textile electronics have become an indispensable part of wearable applications because of their large flexibility,light-weight,comfort and electronic functionality upon the merge of textiles and microelectronics.As a result,the fabrication of functional fibrous materials and the integration of textile electronic devices have attracted increasing interest in the wearable electronic community.Challenges are encountered in the development of textile electronics in a way that is electrically reliable and durable,without compromising on the deformability and comfort of a garment,including processing multiple materials with great mismatches in mechanical,thermal,and electrical properties and assembling various structures with the disparity in dimensional scales and surface roughness.Equal challenges lie in high-quality and cost-effective processes facilitated by high-level digital technology enabled design and manufacturing methods.This work reviews the manufacturing of textile-shaped electronics via the processing of functional fibrous materials from the perspective of hierarchical architectures,and discusses the heterogeneous integration of microelectronics into normal textiles upon the fabric circuit board and adapted electrical connections,broadly covering both conventional and advanced textile electronic production processes.We summarize the applications and obstacles of textile electronics explored so far in sensors,actuators,thermal management,energy fields,and displays.Finally,the main conclusions and outlook are provided while the remaining challenges of the fabrication and application of textile electronics are emphasized.

直接升力在舰载机下滑着舰过程中可以快速修正航迹误差、解耦航迹操纵复杂度。为了使直接升力控制充分实现上述改善效果和控制目标,利用逆反馈控制中的增量动态逆方法搭建了着舰模态控制律基础框架,同时在航迹控制通道上实现了直接升力控制。在数学推导动态逆与增量形式异同的基础上,仿真验证了两种控制框架实现直接升力的有效性。仿真结果表明,在增量动态逆着舰框架上实现的直接升力航迹控制具有更高的鲁棒性。

Separation process study of liquid phase catalytic exchange reaction based on the Pt/C/PTFE catalysts

The liquid phase catalytic exchange(LPCE) reaction is an effective process for heavy water detritiation and production of deuterium-depleted potable water. In the current study, hydrophobic carbon-supported platinum catalysts(Pt/C/PTFE) with high efficiency as reported previously for LPCE were prepared and comprehensive performance evaluation method is applied to evaluate the separation behaviors of LPCE systematically. Experimental results indicate that the optimum reaction temperature of 60–80℃ and the molar feed ratio G/L of 1.5–2.5 would lead to higher separation efficiencies. As to the packing method, a random packing mode with a packing ratio of hydrophobic catalysts 0.25 is recommended. In addition, thermodynamic analysis corresponds well with experimental results under lower temperature and G/L, while the suppression of kinetic factors should not be neglected when T > 80℃ and G/L > 1.5.

植物的生态过程依赖于叶片和根系的功能运行,但少有研究同时关注这两类性状在群落中的分布格局(CTD)。本文测定了广东亚热带森林44种共生木本植物的16个叶片和根系性状,旨在检验类比的叶片和根系性状是否耦合,是否沿类似的功能性状谱变异,是否表现出类似的CTD,其CTD和群落加权平均性状值(CWM)是否沿环境梯度表现出类似的响应。研究结果表明,叶片和根系性状变异的第一轴均呈显出由资源获取向资源保守变异的经济学谱,但叶片变异的第二轴主要由叶片碳含量表征,而根系变异的第二轴主要由反映菌根协作程度的根系粗细表征。类比的叶片和根系化学性状整体正相关,但形态性状的耦合程度较低。在群落水平上,叶片和根系性状第一轴的CWM均随海拔升高而变得更保守,而第二轴的变化则不一致。随土壤磷含量的降低或钾含量的升高,根系变得更细和在养分性状上更保守,而叶片性状无显著变化。当整合多维性状轴时,叶片性状呈发散格局,且随海拔、土壤磷和钾含量的增加呈收敛趋势;而根系性状呈收敛格局,但沿上述环境梯度呈发散趋势。该研究强调,叶片和根系性状与环境互作的差异可能导致不同的性状分布格局;植物可通过多样的地上和地下功能设计应对环境异质性。

Evolution of soil and water conservation in rain-fed areas of China

Rain-fed(dryland)farming is an ancient agricultural production system in China.It occurs widely across almost the whole country,especially in the Northwest and North China.The semi-arid Loess Plateau is the most important region of rain-fed farming in China,but unfortunately,soil erosion on the Loess Plateau area is the highest in China,and indeed amongst the highest in the world.This highlights the necessity for developing practices that can reduce soil and water erosion,improve soil water use efficiency,improve crop productivity,and reduce rural poverty in the region.Many techniques of soil and water conservation are being used in rain-fed areas of China,including such systems as mulch,ridge and furrow systems.The Appendix describes a unique system of soil and water conservation,called Shatian.Modern research on conservation tillage(No Till),although essential for reducing erosion,increasing crop productivity,and ameliorating poverty,is just beginning in China.Modern conservation tillage research started in the1990s’with support from Australia and other countries.The procedures,however,were modified to be in accord with local conditions and prevailing farmer experiences.With 10 years of experimentation,results show that the most successful conservation practice on the Western Loess Plateau is no till with stubble retention.This technique helps to conserve soil water,increases soil organic carbon,improves soil structure and water infiltration,reduces soil and water erosion,and improves crop productivity and sustainability of rain-fed farming systems.However,its adoption rate remains low due to barriers such as traditional attitude,insufficient rural extension,and so forth.

目的探讨阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停低通气综合征(OSAHS)患者缺氧诱导因子-1α(HIF-1α)、促红细胞生成素(EPO)与认知功能的关系。方法测定60例OSAHS患者及同期20名健康体检者(对照组)血清HIF-1α、EPO水平,并使用老年认知功能减退知情者问卷(IQCODE)对认知功能进行评分,分析血清HIF-1α、EPO水平与认知功能的相关性。结果 (1)OSAHS患者血清HIF-1α、EPO水平高于对照组,其IQCODE总分和远期记忆力、学习能力评分高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05);(2)OSAHS组血清HIF-1α、EPO水平与IQCODE总分呈正相关(rHIF-1α=0.49,rEPO=0.58,P <0.001);(3)受试者工作特征曲线分析OSAHS患者认知功能损害HIF-1α、EPO曲线下面积分别为0.81和0.80。结论 HIF-1α和EPO参与OSAHS缺氧应激过程,在一定程度上,其水平与认知功能损害程度存在相关性。
