Hierarchical dispatch of multiple microg.ids using.nodal price:an approach from consensus and replicator dynamics

A hierarchical approach for the energ. manag.ment of g.og.aphically close microg.ids connected throug. a dedicated AC power network is proposed in this *** proposed approach consists of a two-layer energ. manag.ment system(EMS)for networked *** the lower layer,each micro g.id solves its own economic dispatch problem throug. a distributed model predictive control approach that respects capacity limits and ramp-rate constraints of distributed *** the upper layer,the energ. trading.in the network of microg.ids decides how to optimally trade the energ. based on the marg.nal cost information from the lower layer in order to improve g.obal optimization objectives,e.g.,social *** order to solve the trading.problem,a consensusbased alg.rithm and a replicator dynamics alg.rithm are proposed assuming.that the marg.nal cost function of the microg.id is known and *** is shown that both alg.rithms converg. to the same solution,which is equivalent to the minimization of operation *** consensus-based alg.rithm is extended in order to tackle more g.neral marg.nal cost functions and trading.network ***,the effect of ramp constraints and network limits is *** show the effectiveness of the proposed alg.rithms for three interconnected microg.ids with different characteristics.

Analysis of ag.icultural production systems of hydroponic tomato in Morelos state of Mexico, throug. a systematic approach, called systems development of life cycle （SDLC） was performed by comparing.this with the methodolog. known as life cycle assessment （LCA）. This permits to analyze the differences in approaches of all these methodolog.es to propose improvements in the current system, which can allow an improved assessment of the environmental quality of ag.icultural products, which often is subject to confusion. That due to measurement parameters are not g.nerally accepted by society, producers and consumers, may ensure that the process is fully sustainable and is considered quite as a g.een technolog. processes towards an ecolog.cal benefit and therefore for the humanity.

The habanero chili （Capsicum chinense Jacq.） is a species of g.eat demand in the domestic and international markets. One problem in the cultivation is low percentag. of seed g.rmination. There is little information on the use of promoters and imbibition time to increase this parameter, without compromising.the quality of seedling.. In this context, authors assessed the independent effect of g.s （g.bberellic acid） and KNOs at concentrations of 0, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 mg.L1. Seeds without preconditioning.were the witness. The experimental unit was a Petri dish with 50 seeds on filter paper placed equidistant. There were three replicates per treatment and the experimental desig. was randomized complete block. Imbibition time was 24 h. The experimental units were kept in an incubator at 22 ± 2 ℃. From the time of planting.and for periods of 24 h for 14 d, experimental units were reviewed to determine the time at the beg.nning.of g.rmination and the total cumulative percentag.. The authors also determined the number of normal and abnormal seedling., the leng.h of hypocotyl and radicle, weig.t of fresh and dry matter of seedling.. On the fifth day after sowing.in vitro, concentrations of 500 mg.L^-1 of g.s, 300 and 400 mg.L^-1 KNO3, increased 208% the percentag. of seed g.rmination of habanero chile. On day 14 after sowing.in vitro concentrations of 500 mg.L^-1 g.3, 300 and 400 mg.L^-1 KNO3, increased 23% normal seedling. and 40% dry matter thereof, with respect to seeds obtained without preconditioning. Unconditioned seeds before sowing.produced 125% more seedling..

Nutrition is an important factor for the g.owth and development of plants. Among.the main nutritional elements, there are nitrog.n （N） and calcium （Ca）. The N comes from two forms of inorg.nic ions, ammonium （NH4＋） and nitrate （NO3） whose functions in the plant are the increase in leaf area and improving.the succulence of many crops, among.other essential physiolog.cal processes. Both the deficit and excess NO3- have a neg.tive impact on plants increasing.susceptibility to insect pests and pathog.ns, while Ca as divalent ion absorbed Ca2＋ plays an important role in control of physiolog.cal disorders and the resistance of plants to diseases to increase the mechanical streng.h. The N and Ca have a close relationship in the nutritional role of the plant, because the Ca absorption acting.nitrates, so that a proper balance affects plants better g.owth and hig.er streng.h.

The implementation of alternative harvest systems which are able to accelerate the kinetics of g.owth of plants, is extremely important to decrease the time of crop. In this sense, Electro-Hydroponic culture, i.e., the application of an electric field in the nutrient solution of the hydroponic culture emerg.s as an alternative and interesting.harvest system. The objective of the present study was to investig.te the effect of the electric field applying.different intensities of direct current (DC) at the g.lvanostatic reg.me (50, 37.5, 25 and 12.5 mA) on the g.owth of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) plants in hydroponic culture. Fifty lettuce plants were used in a nutrient solution, from which 4 g.oups composed of ten lettuces each one, were subjected at 12.5, 25, 37.5 and 50 mA, respectively. A fifth g.oup of ten lettuces was used as a reference test, i.e., without application of DC. The experiments were carried out during.16 days. The results reveal that the kinetics of g.owth of the lettuce is dependent on the applied current;actually it is observed an increase in the foliate area of the plants cultivated in the presence of DC than that obtained in the reference test. Furthermore, the plants subjected at 12.5 mA, revealed an increase in the foliate area of 65.3% and 73.2% in comparison with the reference test.

Backg.ound : The objective of this study was to validate an animal model for dry eye during.and after the administration of 1% ophthalmic atropine sulfate(OAS) in New Zealand white(NZW) *** : OAS(1%) was applied three times per day to 30 eyes of 15 healthy NZW rabbits. Sacrifice, enucleation, and lacrimal g.and removal took place on days 15, 21,and 30(OAS g.oup). A second g.oup(n = 5) was used as control. Clinical evaluations took place on days 3, 10, 15, 18, 21, 24 and 30. The primary endpoints were:Schirmer I test, tear break-up time(TBUT), and corneal fluorescein staining. As secondary endpoints, clinical chang.s including.intraocular pressure, and histopatholog. were *** : While OAS was administered, the Schirmer I test showed a statistically sig.ificant reduction for OAS g.oup versus control( p g.ificant differences between g.oups(days 3 and 10;p = 0.001) and versus basal values(day 3;p g.showed a statistically sig.ificant difference(day 3;p = 0.001). The most frequent clinical finding.was conjunctival hyperemia(76.9% OAS vs. 20% control). For histopatholog., all OAS subjects presented some deg.ee of inflammation(86.7% minimal;13.3% mild) whereas the control presented only 30% minimal inflammation. g.blet cell density showed no *** : The effectiveness of the OAS dry eye model in NZW rabbits as reported in previous studies was confirmed, provided that the application of the drug.is maintained throug.out the intervention;it is not a viable model after OAS administration is suspended.

To research whether specific alleles HLA class Ⅰ （HLA-A and HLA-B） and class Ⅱ （HLA-DR） are risk factors for the development of exudative type of Ag. Related Macular Deg.neration（ARMD）, HLA antig.ns are expressed both in normal and affected eyes with ARMD. We desig.ed a prospective case-controlled study. We recruited 75 patients with choroidal neovascuiarization predominantly classic or occult, secondary to ARMD, and treated with photodynamic therapy. Two hundred and fifty patients over 55 years old, without ophthalmolog.c patholog. who went to hospital for an analytical routine check were used as control. The analysis of the data shows a sig.ificant difference between two g.oups. Allele HLA-B27 correlated positively with ARMD （p 〈 0.0113）. However, we didn＇t find alleles neg.tively associated. Thus HLA-B27 is an allele predisposed to suffer ARMD.

In two contrasting.ag.icultural ecohabitats (ag.ohabitats) in the avocado production area in the municipality of Cuernavaca, Morelos, an analysis of nutrimental status, soil fertility and water quality was conducted to measure soil fertility levels and to determine the nutrimental state of the trees. The “Hass” variety avocado g.oves studied had an averag. ag. of 8 years;the first g.ove was planted in an acrisol soil (1700 to 1900 meters above mean sea level [mamsl]);the second, in an andosol soil (1200 to 1700 mamsl). In each ag.ohabitat, tests were performed to determine the soil’s physical and chemical characteristics. The physical and chemical characteristics of the soils of this zone differ as do the nutrimental states of the avocado trees in the two ag.ohabitats. The trees showed excessive concentration of Ca, Fe, S, Z and Mg. The indices of Deviation from Optimal Percentag. (DOP) in the two ag.ohabitats showed different nutrimental requirements;nevertheless, they were low and very near to zero, 14.218 and 13.350 respectively. The water used for the ag.icultural irrig.tion was low in salinity and sodium content and thus may be used for the ag.icultural irrig.tion without restrictions.
