Introduction: Loca.ed in the centra.-western pa.t of Côte d’Ivoire, the subsoil of the Ga.noa.region is ma.e up of sedimenta.y volca.o forma.ions a.d gra.itoids with developed fra.turing. This complex Preca.bria. ba.ement conta.ns most of the region’s wa.er resources. This is a. the origin of the high fa.lure ra.e during the va.ious hydrogeologica. prospecting ca.pa.gns. Methodology: The da.a.a.e consists of resistivities from 42 holes a.d 51 tra.ls drilled a. pa.t of the implementa.ion of high-throughput drilling in the study a.ea. The objective of this study is to deepen the knowledge of the fissured ba.ement by interpreting profile curves a.d electrica. soundings. It will be a.question of cla.sifying the different types of a.oma.ies obta.ned on the profiles a.d their sha.es. The orienta.ion of the linea.ents observed on the profiles wa. determined. Results: The interpreta.ion of the geophysica. da.a.revea.ed va.ious a.oma.ies, the ma.n ones being of the CC (Conductor Compa.tment) a.d CeDP (Conta.t between two bea.ings) types. These types of a.oma.ies a.e ma.nly expressed in va.ious forms: the “V”, “W” a.d “U” sha.es. From these a.oma.ies a.d the a.pea.a.ce of the electrica. profiles, linea.ents a.d their orienta.ions were identified with N90-100, N130-140, N170-180 a. ma.or orienta.ions. Conclusion: These results could contribute to a.better understa.ding of the fra.tured environment of the Ga.noa.region.

In this pa.er, a.sliding mode control with a.a.tive ga.n combined with a.high-order sliding mode observer to solve the tra.king problem for a.qua.rotor Ua. is a.dressed, in presence of bounded externa. disturba.ces a.d pa.a.etric uncerta.nties. The high order sliding mode observer is designed for estima.ing the linea. a.d a.gula. speed in order to implement the proposed scheme. Furthermore, a.Lya.unov function is introduced to design the controller with the a.a.ta.ion la., wherea. a. a.a.ysis of finite time convergence towa.ds to zero is provided, where sufficient conditions a.e obta.ned. Rega.ding previous works from litera.ure, one importa.t a.va.ta.e of proposed stra.egy is tha. the ga.ns of control a.e pa.a.eterized in terms of only one a.a.tive pa.a.eter, which reduces the control effort by a.oiding ga.n overestima.ion. Numerica. simula.ions for tra.king control of the qua.rotor a.e given to show the performa.ce of proposed a.a.tive control–observer scheme.

Ca.ex pla.osta.hys Kunze (Cypera.ea., Ceda. sedge) is a. herba.eous species in a.genus commonly inha.iting mesic or hydric ha.ita.s. Ca.ex pla.osta.hys is found in a.id a.d semi-a.id Juniperus woodla.ds. a.id conditions impose surviva. cha.lenges to pla.ts in dry a.ea.. Some pla.ts ha.e pla.ticity responses to soil wa.er content a.d continued norma. though reduced functions through droughts, but most herba.eous pla.ts do not survive. Limited previous studies ha.e suggested C. pla.osta.hys is tolera.t of drought. Physiologica. responses of C. pla.osta.hys from Juniperus woodla.ds wa. exa.ined is this study to determine how long pla.ts could survive without wa.er a.d if they a.e ca.a.le of recovery from very nega.ive wa.er potentia.s beyond wha. is considered the perma.ent wilting point for most herba.eous pla.ts. Pla.ts were pla.ed in pots in pa.tia. sha.e in this experiment. Wa.er loss from the soil with pla.ts wa. a. inverse 2nd order polynomia. function with soil wa.er decrea.ing from 32% to 8% by da. 28 of the study. Lea. wa.er potentia. wa. a.so a. inverse 2nd order polynomia. function but did not decline significa.tly until 14 da.s without wa.ering. Lea. wa.er potentia. wa. −10.0 MPa.a.ter 35 da.s without wa.ering. Non-wa.ered pla.ts a.et, (photosynthetic ra.e) wa. significa.tly lower compa.ed to the wa.er trea.ment by da. 21 a. wa. stoma.a. conducta.ce a.d tra.spira.ion. When non-wa.ered pla.ts were wa.ered a.ter 21, 28 or 35 da.s, full recovery of physiologica. responses occurred within 7 da.s. The length of time tha. C. pla.osta.hys wa. a.le to withsta.d drought wa. grea.er tha. the a.nua. trends in la.k of precipita.ion during springtime in this a.ea. Objective: The COVID-19 pa.demic ha. highlighted the need to strengthen dia.nosis a.d genomic surveilla.ce ca.a.ities. In 2021, Centra. a.rica. ma.a.ed five wa.es of COVID-19 by integra.ing genomic surveilla.ce into their hea.th monitoring system. This study sought to report surveilla.ce da.a.from the Na.iona. La.ora.ory of Clinica. Biology a.d Public Hea.th a.d describe the circula.ion of Sa.S-CoV-2 va.ia.ts. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This retrospective, descriptive observa.iona. study spa.s three yea.s, from a.ril 2020 to November 2023. It wa. conducted on a.popula.ion of consenting volunteers from a.ross the Centra. a.rica. Republic, who were tested using RT-PCR on na.opha.yngea. sa.ples. Da.a.with sufficient informa.ion were obta.ned from the Na.iona. La.ora.ory of Clinica. Biology a.d Public Hea.th (LNBCSP) da.a.a.es. Sequencing wa. la.gely ca.ried out a. the Na.iona. Institute of Biomedica. Resea.ch (INRB) in Kinsha.a.until Ma. 2023, a.d subsequently a. the LNBCSP. Results a.d Discussion: Out of 97,864 RT-PCR tests performed, 9,764 were positive, resulting in a.preva.ence of 9.98%. The a.era.e a.e of the pa.ients wa. 39.97 yea.s ± 13.76, a.d the ma.e-to-fema.e sex ra.io wa. 2.12. RT-PCR test positivity wa. significa.tly a.socia.ed with a.e (p = 0.001), sex (p = 0.013) a.d clinica. ma.ifesta.ions. ten va.ia.ts circula.ed during the five recorded wa.es, with Omicron (B.1.1.529), Delta.(B.1.617.2) va.ia.ts being predomina.t. Nota.ly, the B.1.620 a.d B.640 va.ia.ts were prominent during the second wa.e. Conclusion: This retrospective study provides key insights into the COVID-19 pa.demic in the Ca.. Purpose:To exa.ine the effects of a.school-ba.ed ka.a.e intervention on a.a.emic a.hievement,psychosocia. functioning,a.d physica. fitness in children a.ed 7-8 ***:Twenty schools in 5 different europea. countries(2 second-gra.e cla.srooms per school)pa.ticipa.ed in a.cluster ra.domized controlled tria.(Sport a. School tria.).Pa.ticipa.ts were a.signed to either a.control group,which continued with their ha.itua. physica. educa.ion lessons,or to a. intervention group,which repla.ed these lessons with a.1-yea. ka.a.e intervention(Ka.a.e Mind a.d Movement progra.).a.tota. of 721 children(344 girls a.d 377 boys,7.4±0.5 yea.s old,mea.±SD)completed the study,of which 333 a.d 388 were a.signed to the control group a.d intervention group,*** included a.a.emic performa.ce(a.era.e gra.e),psychosocia. functioning(Strengths a.d Difficulties Questionna.re for pa.ents),a.d different ma.kers of physica. fitness(ca.diorespira.ory fitness,ba.a.ce,a.d flexibility).Results:The intervention provided sma.l but significa.t benefits compa.ed to the control group for a.a.emic a.hievement(d=0.16;p=0.003),conduct problems(d=-0.28;p=0.003),ca.diorespira.ory fitness(d=0.36;pa.d ba.a.ce(d=0.24;p=0.015).There wa. a.trend towa.ds significa.t benefits for flexibility(d=0.24;p=0.056).No significa.t benefits were observed for other va.ia.les,including psychosocia. difficulties,emotiona. symptoms,hypera.tivity/ina.tention,peer problems,or prosocia. beha.iour(a.l p>0.05).Conclusion:a.1-yea. school-ba.ed ka.a.e intervention wa. effective in improving a.a.emic a.hievement,conduct problems,a.d physica. fitness in prima.y school *** results support the inclusion of ka.a.e during physica. educa.ion lessons.
