Usually,rural areas can be electrified via three-phase distribution transformers with relatively large *** such areas,low voltage lines are used for long distances,which cause power losses and voltage drop for different types of *** losses and improving voltage profiles in rural distribution networks are significant challenges for electricity distribution *** different solutions were proposed in the literature to overcome these challenges,most of them face difficulties when applied in the conventional distribution *** address the above issues,an applicable solution is proposed in this paper by installing a number of small-capacity distribution transformers instead of every single large-capacity transformer in rural *** proposed approach is implemented in the branch network of Al-Hoqool village,which belongs to the Nineveh distribution *** network has been inspected on-site,drawn,and analyzed using the electrical systems analysis program(ETAP).The analysis showed that using the single-phase pole-mounted transformers can improve the voltage in the network’s end by 29%and enhance the voltage profile for all *** analysis has also demonstrated that the modification can reduce the total power losses by 78%compared to the existing *** the economic aspect,the payback period for the proposed network is assigned to be 20 months.

medium-Term Electric Load Forecasting Using multivariable Linear and Non-Linear Regression

medium-term forecasting is an important category of electric load forecasting that covers a time span of up to one year ahead. It suits outage and maintenance planning, as well as load switching operation. We propose a new methodol-ogy that uses hourly daily loads to predict the next year hourly loads, and hence predict the peak loads expected to be reached in the next coming year. The technique is based on implementing multivariable regression on previous year's hourly loads. Three regression models are investigated in this research: the linear, the polynomial, and the exponential power. The proposed models are applied to real loads of the Jordanian power system. Results obtained using the pro-posed methods showed that their performance is close and they outperform results obtained using the widely used ex-ponential regression technique. moreover, peak load prediction has about 90% accuracy using the proposed method-ology. The methods are generic and simple and can be implemented to hourly loads of any power system. No extra in-formation other than the hourly loads is required.

Due to the difficulties of brain tumor segmentation, this paper proposes a strategy for extracting brain tumors from three-dimensional magneticResonance Image (mRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) scans utilizing3D U-Net Design and ResNet50, taken after by conventional classificationstrategies. In this inquire, the ResNet50 picked up accuracy with 98.96%, andthe 3D U-Net scored 97.99% among the different methods of deep *** is to be mentioned that traditional Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)gives 97.90% accuracy on top of the 3D mRI. In expansion, the imagefusion approach combines the multimodal images and makes a fused image toextricate more highlights from the medical images. Other than that, we haveidentified the loss function by utilizing several dice measurements approachand received Dice Result on top of a specific test case. The average mean scoreof dice coefficient and soft dice loss for three test cases was 0.0980. At thesame time, for two test cases, the sensitivity and specification were recordedto be 0.0211 and 0.5867 using patch level predictions. On the other hand,a software integration pipeline was integrated to deploy the concentratedmodel into the webserver for accessing it from the software system using theRepresentational state transfer (REST) API. Eventually, the suggested modelswere validated through the Area Under the Curve–Receiver CharacteristicOperator (AUC–ROC) curve and Confusion matrix and compared with theexisting research articles to understand the underlying problem. ThroughComparative Analysis, we have extracted meaningful insights regarding braintumour segmentation and figured out potential gaps. Nevertheless, the proposed model can be adjustable in daily life and the healthcare domain to identify the infected regions and cancer of the brain through various imagingmodalities.

The Electromagnetic Field Propagation in a Spherical Core

A simple and explicit derivation for the electric and magnetic fields in the ferromagnetic cores has been studied. An improved model for analyzing the distribution of electric and magnetic fields in a toroidal core is given. This leads to a basis system for the theoretical analysis of iron loss in the magnetic cores, so, the theoretical results have been evaluated. A method is used to perform numeric calculations of the magnetic field produced by the eddy current and displacement current due to the electric field which shield the magnetic flux from the inner portion of the core cross section. The results obtained from this work could be used to evaluate the skin effect in the conductors of a winding.

New Fourth Order Iterative methods Second Derivative Free

In a recent paper, Noor and Khan [m. Aslam Noor, & W. A. Khan, (2012) New Iterative methods for Solving Nonlinear Equation by Using Homotopy Perturbation method, Applied mathematics and Computation, 219, 3565-3574], suggested a fourth-order method for solving nonlinear equations. Per iteration in this method requires two evaluations of the function and two of its first derivatives;therefore, the efficiency index is 1.41421 as Newton’s method. In this paper, we modified this method and obtained a family of iterative methods for appropriate and suitable choice of the parameter. It should be noted that per iteration for the new methods requires two evaluations of the function and one evaluation of its first derivatives, so its efficiency index equals to 1.5874. Analysis of convergence shows that the methods are fourth-order. Several numerical examples are given to illustrate the performance of the presented methods.

Bifurcation Analysis of a Coupled Acetylcholinesterase/Choline Acetyltransferase Enzymes Neurocycle

A diffusion-reaction, two-compartment model was used to explore the bifurcation and chaotic behavior of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and cholineacetyltransferase (ChAT) coupled enzymes system. The effects of hydrogen ion feed concentrations, choline (Ch) and acetylcholine (ACh) feed concentrations, as bifurcation parameters on the system performance are studied. It is found that hydrogen ions play an important role in creating potential differences through the plasma membranes. Detailed bifurcation analysis over a wide range of parameters is carried out in order to uncover some of the qualitative changes of the system such as hysteresis, multiplicity, Hopf bifurcation, boundary crises bifurcation, periodic transient, and other complex dynamics. Some of the obtained results relate to the phenomena occurring in the physiological experiments like periodic stimulation of neural cells and irregular functioning of acetylcholine receptors. The model depends on real kinetics expressions and parameters obtained from the literature, so the results can be used to direct more systematic research on cholinergic disorder.
