Microbiological Contamination of Fresh Chicken Meat in the Retail Stores

The aim of this study was to assess the hygienic properties of swabs taken from the arm and coat of workers, work surfaces, refrigerated display cases, trays and packaging materials. As well as the safe properties of samples of fresh chicken meat (wing, drumstick, chest) and chicken internal organs (heart and liver) from two butcheries. One of the goals was to determine whether education on hygienic conditions was carried out, influenced the hygienic condition of swabs and safety samples of fresh chicken meat offal. The results of the analysis showed that on the first day of sampling, the largest number of aerobic mesophilic bacteria were found in the swabs of the arm (butcher A-8.15 × 102 CFU/ml), butcher (B-17.88 × 102 CFU/ml) and the smallest in the packaging material (0.03 × 102 CFU/ml). Efficacy of intraovarian autologous platelet-rich plasma administration in women with low ovarian reserve: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Objective:To conduct a systematic examination and meta-analysis of the most reliable data from experimental studies evaluating the efficacy of autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)on low ovarian ***:A comprehensive search was performed utilizing pertinent search terms across electronic databases,including PubMed,Cochrane,and Google *** included studies that assigned infertile women with low ovarian reserve in experimental *** reserve parameters were measured before and after PRP injection into *** data of each study was retrieved and subsequently ***:Of 301 articles collected and reviewed,six studies were finally included in the *** PRP injection,infertile women showed a non-significant increase in anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)level(MD=0.10;95%CI-0.04,0.23),a significant increase in antral follicular count(AFC)(MD=1.88;95%CI 0.47,3.29),and a non-significant reduction in follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)level(MD=-0.22;95%CI-8.32,7.87).Conclusions:Autologous PRP may increase AFC,but not *** it is found beneficial in enhancing ovarian reserve(AFC),further research with strong evidence is still required.

Adverse events related to physical restraint use in intensive care units: A review of the literature

Physical restraints are widely used and accepted as protective measures during treatment in intensive care unit (ICU). This review of the literature summarizes the adverse events and outcomes associated with physical restraint use, and the risk factors associated with their use during treatment in the ICU. The PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases were screened using predefined search terms to identify studies pertaining to adverse events and/or outcomes associated with physical restraint use, and the factors associated with their use in adult patients admitted to the ICU. A total of 24 articles (including 6126 patients) that were published between 2006 and 2022 were identified. The described adverse events associated with physical restraint use included skin injuries, subsequent delirium, neurofunctional impairment, and a higher rate of post-traumatic stress disorder. Subsequent delirium was the most frequent adverse event to be reported. No alternative measures to physical restraints were discussed, and only one study reported a standardized protocol for their use. Although physical restraint use has been reported to be associated with adverse events (including neurofunctional impairment) in the literature, the available evidence is limited. Although causality cannot be confirmed, a definite association appears to exist. Our findings suggest that it is essential to improve awareness regarding their adverse impact and optimize approaches for their detection, management, and prevention using protocols or checklists.

Relationship between Seed Priming Mediated Seedling Vigor and Yield Performance of Spring Wheat

Seed priming is a pre-germinated technique that can enhance seed germination percentage,faster and synchro-nized germination,better seedling growth,and yield under stress *** ascertain the most effective seed priming method that would ensure the potential yield of wheat in Bangladesh,two experiments were carried out from December 2021 to March 2022 at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural *** wheat varieties namely BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 were subjected to a range of priming chemicals in both lab and pot *** compounds included the following:control(no priming),hydropriming(distilled water),10000 ppm KNO_(3),15000 ppm KNO_(3),40000 ppm Mannitol,60000 ppm Mannitol,10000 ppm NaCl,20000 ppm NaCl,100 ppm PEG,150 ppm PEG,500 ppm NaOCl,1000 ppm NaOCl,10000 ppm CaCl_(2),20000 ppm CaCl_(2),10000 ppm KCl and 20000 ppm KCl.A complete randomized design(CRD)with three repli-cations was used to set up the *** results showed that BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 responded best to KCl priming in terms of rapid seed germination and strong seedling *** the other hand,the best priming agents for plant growth and productivity turned out to be CaCl_(2) and *** results of this study support the possibility of using seed priming as a technique to improve wheat plant development and output by raising seed emergence and survival rates.

Production of Ryazhenka,a traditional Ukrainian fermented baked milk,by using electro-activated whey as supplementing ingredient and source of lactulose

In this work,electro-activated whey(EAW)was used as ingredient in the preparation of Ryazhenka,a fermented baked milk,at a supplementation level of 3 and 9%.Fermentation kinetics,viscosity,color,antioxidant capacity,and protein profiles of the final product were ***,effect of electro-activation onβ-lactoglobulin allergenicity was evaluated by a specific ELISA *** results showed that addition of electro-activated whey as supplementing ingredient is technologically feasible in the process of Ryazhenka *** fermentation kinetics showed that this process was in the technologically accepted interval even if the addition of EAW delayed the fermentation *** viscosity study showed that addition of EAW permitted to obtain a final product with good followability corresponding to good consistency of drinkable dairy ***,addition of EAW prevented syneresis during the refrigerated storage at 4℃ and enriched the product with lactulose which is a recognized *** chromatic evaluation of the final product showed a compatibility of EAW with Ryazhenka which is known for its specific yellowish-brownish *** or EAW significantly improved the antioxidant capacity of the Ryazhenka with values of IC_(50)DPPH=2.54±0.02 and IC_(50)PFRAP=244.03±28.83 for the Ryazhenka produced by adding 9%EAW to the milk after the baking process and prior to ***,by using aβ-lactoglobulin specific ELISA test,this study showed a significant decrease of whey and pureβ-lactoglobulin allergenicity by 95%.This decrease was also observed in Ryazhenka supplemented with 9%EAW but at lower ***,it can be concluded that electro-activated whey can be considered as a promising functional ingredient containing a prebiotic lactulose as functional ingredient in the dairy industry.

Exploring China's Potential Child Poverty

This paper estimates child poverty in China using 20IS data from the China Household Income *** the Alkire-Foster drawer approach,we constructed a multidimensional poverty indicator system that accounted for multiple factors contributing to a child's development and well-being,based on which we estimated multidimensional poverty experienced by *** s poverty varied by age,gender,rural/urban settings,and geographic *** extending the Alkire-Foster drawer approach,two important features of child poverty in China were found,which had normally been neglected by per capita poverty measures:poor children in nonpoor families and unequal allocations to different children within the same *** results showed that more than 40 percent of multidimensionally poor children lived in nonpoor *** resource allocation within families was observed in half of the *** two features of child poverty require more policy attention and the Chinese government should prioritize addressing multidimensional child poverty.
