Application of neural-wavelet network in predicting the incidence of marriage and divorce in Iran

Marriage has become less common,while the incidence of divorce has risen in *** have made marriage facilitation and divorce prevention as the cornerstone of population *** is clear that prediction of the incidence of marriage and divorce will help policy makers to design effective *** paper uses the number of marriages and divorces between 1980 and 2017,published by the Statistical Center of Iran,to predict the incidence of marriage and divorce through 2027 at the national *** the limitations of common methods,such as ARMAX,ARMA,MR and AR,in predicting time series with abrupt changes,this paper applies a mixed method,which combines the Neural Network and the Wavelet mathematical *** comparison between the data and the results obtained from the wavelet-neural network confirms the precision of the *** precision and validity of the neural-wavelet network model is further confirmed by the fact that it has been able to reduce the mean sum of square of errors to a larger extent than the Neural Network *** findings show a 3%decrease in the number of marriages,from 704,716 in 2017 to 683,190 in *** the other hand,the number of divorces has increased by 30%,from 181,049 in 2017 to 235,407 in ***,the number of divorces per 100 marriages will increase from 25.7 to 34.5 just in a decade,which calls for effective interventions if family formation and consolidation are to be improved in Iran.

This article aims to show that virtual water has historically been an adaptation strategy that enabled some arid regions to develop a prosperous economy without putting pressure on their scarce water *** water is referred to as the total amount of water that is consumed to produce goods and *** an example,in arid central Iran,the deficiency in agricultural revenues was offset by more investment in local industries that enjoyed a perennial capacity to employ more *** revenues of local industries weaned the population from irrigated agriculture,since most of their raw materials and also food stuff were imported from other regions,bringing a remarkable amount of virtual *** virtual water not only sustained the region’s inhabitants,but also set the stage for a powerful polity in the face of a rapid population growth between the 13th and 15th centuries *** resultant surplus products entailed a vast and safe network of roads,provided by both entrepreneurs and ***,it became possible to import more feedstock such as cocoons from water-abundant regions and then export silk textiles with considerable *** article concludes that a similar model of virtual water can remedy the ongoing water crisis in central Iran,where groundwater reserves are overexploited,and many rural and urban centers are teetering on the edge of socio-ecological *** holds an urgent lesson on sustainability for our today’s policy that stubbornly peruses agriculture and other high-water-demand sectors in an arid region whose development has always been dependent on virtual water.

Frobenius Method for Solving Second-Order Ordinary Differential Equations

As we know that the power series method is a very effective method for solving the Ordinary differential equations (ODEs) which have variable coefficient, so in this paper we have studied how to solve second-order ordinary differential equation with variable coefficient at a singular point t = 0 and determined the form of second linearly independent solution. Based on the roots of initial equation there are real and complex cases. When the roots of initial equation are real then there are three kinds of second linearly independent solutions. If the roots of the initial equation are distinct complex numbers, then the solution is complex-valued.

An Experimental Investigation on the Stability of Foundation of Composite Vertical Breakwaters

A series of 2D model tests were conducted to assess the foundation stability of composite vertical breakwaters. In this paper, the results from the experimental study are presented conjointly with a formula to estimate the stability number of foundation, which is the most important parameter for evaluation of foundation stability of such structures. The influences of wave height, wave period and the berm width on the stability of compo^ite breakwaters with different armor stone sizes were investigated. Forty-five tests were performed to cover the influences of these parameters. According to the present research, berm width is a significant parameter concerning erosion of armor foundation. As the berm width increases, the amount of berm erosion decreases. Comparisons are made between results of present study and the estimated stability number proposed by Kimura et al. （1994）, which is extension of Tanimoto formula. Results show that the later formula underestimates the stability number. However, by applying an enhancement factor about 1.7 meters to Kimura et al. formula, results correlated with the present experimental results..

Predicting Solvent Concentration Profile in the Porous Media Using Various Numerical Solutions to Convection-Dispersion Equation

Convection-dispersion of fluids flowing through porous media is an important phenomenon in immiscible and miscible displacement in hydrocarbon reservoirs. Exact calculation of this problem leads to perform more robust reservoir simulation and reliable prediction. There are various techniques that have been proposed to solve convection-dispersion equation. To check the validity of these techniques, the convection-dispersion equation was solved numerically using a series of well known numerical techniques. Such techniques that employed in this study include method of line, explicit, implicit, Crank-Nicolson and Barakat-Clark. Several cases were considered as input, and convection-dispersion equation was solved using the aforementioned techniques. Moreover the error analysis was also carried out based on the comparison of numerical and analytical results. Finally it was observed that method of line and explicit methods are not capable of simulating the convection-dispersion equation for wide range of input parameters. The Barakat-Clark method was also failed to predict accurate results and in some cases it had large deviation from analytical solution. On the other hand, the simulation results of implicit and Crank-Nicolson have more qualitative and quantitative agreement with those obtained by the analytical solutions.

Objective:We aimed to develop a bioinformatics approach for drug discovery variety of effective drugs for Coronavirus disease treatment(COVID-19).Methods:First,the structure of relevant drugs have been optimized and prepared as input data for docking ***,The X-ray structure of SARS CoV-2(PDB ID:6VWW)and 2019-nCoV(PDB ID:6M0J)receptors is prepared by eliminating water molecules and unique ***,significant interactions have been reported with Discovery Studio 4.5 Client ***:The MolDock Score value indicated the positive effect of drugs on the inactivation of *** and Ritonavir drugs have the most inhibitory effect(MolDock Scores:-160.49 and-205.91 kj/mol),and a wide spectrum of interactions such as Van der Waals,conventional hydrogen bond,carbon-hydrogen bond,Pi-doner hydrogen bond,Pi-Pi stacked,Pi Pi T-shaped,Alkyl,and Pi Alkyl is contributed in final binding affinity.

Optimization of the Water Distribution Networks with Differential Evolution (DE) and Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP)

Nowadays, due to increasing population and water shortage and competition for its consumption, especially in the agriculture, which is the largest consumer of water, proper and suitable utilization and optimal use of water resources is essential. One of the important parameters in agriculture field is water distribution network. In this research, differential evolution algorithm (DE) was used to optimize Ismail Abad water supply network. This network is pressurized network and includes 19 pipes and 18 nodes. Optimization of the network has been evaluated by developing an optimization model based on DE algorithm in MATLAB and the dynamic connection with EPANET software for network hydraulic calculation. The developing model was run for the scale factor (F), the crossover constant (Cr), initial population (N) and the number of generations (G) and was identified best adeptness for DE algorithm is 0.6, 0.5, 100 and 200 for F and Cr, N and G, respectively. The optimal solution was compared with the classical empirical method and results showed that implementation cost of the network by DE algorithm was 10.66% lower than the classical empirical method.

The Simulation of Flood Hydrograph in Natural and Urban Basins

The exact estimation of the flood is one of the main concerns for designers of the water bodies. The significance of this issue in the catchment areas overlooking the cities is more and more visible. In this study, HEC-HMS model is used to simulate the catchment area of the Khoshk River in the Shiraz city. The simulation results and its comparison with the observations based on Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient confirm the validity of the model. The input data of the model includes Rainfall, Measured Discharge, Flood Peak Time, Curve Number (CN), and so on. These results indicate that although the shape of the simulated hydrograph is not exactly the same as the observed hydrograph, it has estimated the peak of flood discharge well with an error rate of two to five percent.
