Big data is a term that refers to a set of data that,due to its largeness or complexity,cannot be stored or processed with one of the usual tools or applications for data management,and it has become a prominent word in recent years for the massive development of *** immediately thereafter,the term“big data mining”emerged,i.e.,mining from big data even as an emerging and interconnected field of *** is an important stage in data mining since it helps people make better decisions in a variety of situations,including scientific endeavors,biomedical research,and industrial *** probabilistic neural network(PNN)is a commonly used and successful method for handling classification and pattern recognition *** this study,the authors proposed to combine the probabilistic neural network(PPN),which is one of the data mining techniques,with the vibrating particles system(VPS),which is one of the metaheuristic algorithms named“VPS-PNN”,to solve classi-fication problems more *** data set is eleven common benchmark medical datasets from the machine-learning library,the suggested method was *** suggested VPS-PNN mechanism outperforms the PNN,biogeography-based optimization,enhanced-water cycle algorithm(E-WCA)and the firefly algorithm(FA)in terms of convergence speed and classification accuracy.

Effect of Social Media Celebrities on Children’s Satisfaction with Their Body image

This study investigated the impact of social media and media on children’s body satisfaction in early *** effect of social media and media on children’s body image and differences between girls’and boys’acceptance of their body image were explored.A questionnaire and an illustrated body satisfaction scale were distributed to a sample of 491 children in Saudi Arabia(246 girls,245 boys)aged 5-7 *** results revealed differences between children’s responses to the illustrated body satisfaction scale and *** data revealed children were satisfied with their body image(91.4%,standard deviation[SD]0.53),skin color(91.2%,SD 0.53),and weight(79.6%)and did not want to change their shape(73.7%).However,the illustrated body satisfaction scale indicated many children wanted to be like social media celebrities(37.9%),television and film celebrities(32.6%),and famous singers(25.5%).No statistically significant differences were found between girls and boys in body satisfaction,although 66.9%of boys wanted the shape of their body to be more muscular,and girls wanted blue or green eyes and blond *** study also revealed Disney princesses had a major effect on girls compared with other *** researcher recommends conducting longitudinal studies in Arab societies,particularly in Saudi Arabia,to explore the influence of celebrities on children as they ***,educational policymakers should include pictures of Arab children in the curricula instead of foreign children.

Developed Fall Detection of Elderly Patients in internet of Healthcare Things

Falling is among the most harmful events older adults may *** the continuous growth of the aging population in many societies,developing effective fall detection mechanisms empowered by machine learning technologies and easily integrable with existing healthcare systems becomes *** paper presents a new healthcare internet of Health Things(ioHT)architecture built around an ensemble machine learning-based fall detection system(FDS)for older *** to deep neural networks,the ensemble multi-stage random forest model allows the extraction of an optimal subset of fall detection features with minimal *** number of cascaded random forest stages is automatically *** study uses a public dataset of fall detection samples called SmartFall to validate the developed fall detection *** SmartFall dataset is collected based on the acquired measurements of the three-axis accelerometer in a *** scenario in this dataset is classified and labeled as a fall or a *** comparison to the three machine learning models—K-nearest neighbors(KNN),decision tree(DT),and standard random forest(SRF),the proposed ensemble classifier outperformed the other models and achieved 98.4%*** developed healthcare ioHT framework can be realized for detecting fall accidents of older people by taking security and privacy concerns into account in future work.

Deep neural networks(DNN)are widely employed in a wide range of intelligent applications,including image and video ***,due to the enormous amount of computations required by ***,performing DNN inference tasks locally is problematic for resourceconstrained internet of Things(ioT)*** cloud approaches are sensitive to problems like erratic communication delays and unreliable remote server *** utilization of ioT device collaboration to create distributed and scalable DNN task inference is a very promising *** existing research,on the other hand,exclusively looks at the static split method in the scenario of homogeneous ioT *** a result,there is a pressing need to investigate how to divide DNN tasks adaptively among ioT devices with varying capabilities and resource constraints,and execute the task inference *** major obstacles confront the aforementioned research problems:1)in a heterogeneous dynamic multi-device environment,it is difficult to estimate the multi-layer inference delay of DNN tasks;2)it is difficult to intelligently adapt the collaborative inference approach in real *** a result,a multi-layer delay prediction model with fine-grained interpretability is proposed ***,for DNN inference tasks,evolutionary reinforcement learning(ERL)is employed to adaptively discover the approximate best split *** show that,in a heterogeneous dynamic environment,the proposed framework can provide considerable DNN inference *** the number of devices is 2,3,and 4,the delay acceleration of the proposed algorithm is 1.81 times,1.98 times and 5.28 times that of the EE algorithm,respectively.

introduction: The acronym SAPHO (Synovitis, Acne, Pustulosis, Hyperostosis and Osteitis) is a syndrome combining osteoarticular and cutaneous manifestations. it occurs mainly between the ages of 30 and 50. Sternocostoclavicular hyperostosis is one of the main distinguishing features. We report a case of SAPHO in Dakar diagnosed by bone scintigraphy. Observation: 28-year-old Senegalese women presented with left shoulder pain and relative functional impotence for over 2 years. Examination revealed right sternoclavicular hyperostosis and left shoulder pain on palpation. Questioning revealed a history of acne and hyperostosis of the right first toe. Bone scintigraphy, performed after injection of 630 MBq of 99mTc-HMDP, revealed: hyperfixation of the bilateral (right++) manubrio-sternal and sternoclavicular junction, producing the classic bull’s horn image;hyperfixation of the left shoulder with an inflammatory appearance;hyperfixation of the sacroiliac joints suggestive of bilateral sacroiliitis;hyperfixation of the right first toe;two mandibular hyper fixations probably related to dental damage. This scintigraphic appearance in one was strongly suggestive of SAPHO syndrome. Conclusion: SAPHO syndrome, related to spondyloarthropathy, associates cutaneous and osteoarticular signs. it is characterized by frequent delays in diagnosis due to poor recognition. Soy is an invaluable diagnostic tool, enabling us to assess the extent of the disease and its evolution.

introduction: Graves’ disease is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism. its treatment uses synthetic antithyroid drugs but the use of aggressive radical therapy such as surgery or non-aggressive therapy such as iodine-131 is not uncommon. Treatment of Graves’ disease with radioactive iodine or iratherapy is a simple, inexpensive, well-tolerated treatment. it was introduced in Senegal in 2016. We report through this work the preliminary assessment of the only nuclear medicine service in Senegal in the management of Graves’ disease by iodine-131. Patients and Methods: Retrospective study of the first cases of Graves’ disease treated with iratherapy in Senegal. Socio-demographic, clinical, paraclinical, therapeutic and evolutionary aspects were studied. Radiation protection rules have been implemented and contraception has been effective for six months in women of childbearing age. Results: 25 patients were collected with a mean age of 45 years, twenty women (80%), a family goiter in 24% and a psycho-affective context in 64% of cases. Thyrotoxicosis syndrome was associated with goiter in 68% of patients and exophthalmos in 64%. Thyroid ultrasound performed in 20 patients showed vascular goiter in 80% and thyroid scintigraphy in 3 patients, homogeneous and diffuse hyperfixation. TRAK dosed in 8 patients was still positive. All patients had received first-line medical treatment. The average duration of this treatment was more than 18 months in 92%. The empirically used iodine-131 activity averaged 15.35 mCi. Oral corticosteroid therapy was prescribed in 7 patients for the prevention of malignant orbitopathy. No early side effects were noted. The remission rate at 3 months was 52% and at 6 months was 88% to 92%. Conclusion: The effectiveness of radioactive iodine, in particular ablative doses in the treatment of hyperthyroidism, is no longer to be demonstrated. Taking into account our socioeconomic context, iratherapy should be a treatment of choice for hyperthyroidism

Content-based medical image retrieval(CBMiR)is a technique for retrieving medical images based on automatically derived image *** are many applications of CBMiR,such as teaching,research,diagnosis and electronic patient *** methods are applied to enhance the retrieval performance of CBMiR *** new and effective similarity measure and features fusion methods are two of the most powerful and effective strategies for improving these *** study proposes the relative difference-based similarity measure(RDBSM)for *** new measure was first used in the similarity calculation stage for the CBMiR using an unweighted fusion method of traditional color and texture ***,the study also proposes a weighted fusion method for medical image features extracted using pre-trained convolutional neural networks(CNNs)*** proposed RDBSM has outperformed the standard well-known similarity and distance measures using two popular medical image datasets,Kvasir and PH2,in terms of recall and precision retrieval *** effectiveness and quality of our proposed similarity measure are also proved using a significant test and statistical confidence bound.

The networks are fundamental to our modern world and they appear throughout science and *** to a massive amount of data presents a unique opportunity to the researcher’s *** networks grow in size the complexity increases and our ability to analyze them using the current state of the art is at severe risk of failing to keep ***,this paper initiates a discussion on graph signal processing for large-scale data *** first provide a comprehensive overview of core ideas in Graph signal processing(GSP)and their connection to conventional digital signal processing(DSP).We then summarize recent developments in developing basic GSP tools,including methods for graph filtering or graph learning,graph signal,graph Fourier transform(GFT),spectrum,graph frequency,*** filtering is a basic task that allows for isolating the contribution of individual frequencies and therefore enables the removal of *** then consider a graph filter as a model that helps to extend the application of GSP methods to large *** show the suitability and the effeteness,we first created a noisy graph signal and then applied it to the *** several rounds of simulation *** see that the filtered signal appears to be smoother and is closer to the original noise-free distance-based *** using this example application,we thoroughly demonstrated that graph filtration is efficient for big data analytics.

This paper provides an attempt to utilize machine learning algorithm,explicitly random-forest algorithm,to optimize the performance of dye sensitized solar cells(DSSCs)in terms of conversion *** optimization is implemented with respect to both the mesoporous TiO_(2) active layer thickness and ***,the porosity impact is reflected to the model as a variation in the effective refractive index and dye *** set has been established using our data in the literature as well as numerical data extracted from our numerical *** random-forest model is used for model regression,prediction,and optimization,reaching 99.87%*** agreement with experimental data was observed,with 4.17%conversion efficiency.
