Background andAims:Hepatitis C Virus(HCV)is uniformly recurrent after liver transplant(LT)and recurrence is associated with an increased risk of *** medications increase the risk of chronic kidney disease,and the presence of chronic kidney disease presents a challenge for HCV treatment in LT *** aim of this study was to assess changes in glomerular filtration rates(GFRs)of LT recipients receiving HCV ***:This is a retrospective study of LT patients who received HCV treatment between 2015 and 2016(n=60).The outcomes of interest were differences in serum creatinine levels and in GFR,measured at treatment initiation and at 24 weeks after *** average age of the patients was 59 years-old,and 17%were cirrhotic and 67%were *** patients received sofosbuvir/ledipasvir without ***:All patients achieved sustained virologic response at 12 weeks after treatment(SVR12).At baseline,55%of patients had GFRin per 1.73 *** those patients,GFR did not change in 18%,33%had improved GFR,and 48%had worsened *** to 45%of the patients had a GFR>60 mL/min per 1.73 *** those patients,GFR did not change in 81%,and 19%had worsened *** the entire cohort,65%of patients had improved or stable GFR and 35%had worsened *** average change in serum creatinine between baseline and 24 weeks was 0.10(p=0.18).Conclusions:This study showed improved or unchanged GFR in 65%and worsened GFR in 35%of LT recipients who achieved *** of GFR was more frequently encountered in those with impaired renal function at *** should be used when treating HCV in LT recipients,especially those with baseline status of renal impairment.

Background Understanding children’s feeding practices and eating behaviors is important to determine etiology of childhood *** study aimed to explore the relationship between early feeding practices,eating behavior and body composition among primary school *** The data were collected from 403 primary school *** were administered structured questionnaire,including sociodemographic characteristics,early feeding practices and Child’s Eating Behavior *** and blood pressure(BP)measurements were *** Children with obesity and overweight showed higher food approach subscales and lower food avoidance subscales compared to a healthy and underweight *** who were exclusively or predominantly breast fed during the frst 6 months had the lowest scores for the food approach subscales,food responsiveness(FR)and emotional overeating(EOE)and had the highest scores for the food avoidance subscales,satiety responsiveness(SR)and emotional under eating(EUE).Children who were introduced solid food after 6 months showed lower scores for FR,enjoyment of food and EOE but scored highest for SR,slowness in eating(SE)and *** anthropometric measurements were positively correlated with all food approach subscales and negatively with SE,SR and food *** food approach subscales were positively correlated with BP *** food avoidance subscales were negatively correlated with both BP percentiles,except for EUE,which was negatively correlated with diastolic BP percentile ***,SR,SE and FR were predictors for child body mass *** Early feeding practices and eating behavior are considered as prevention approaches for obesity.

This paper proposes a novel controllable crowbar based on fault type(CBFT)protection technique for doubly fed induction generator(DFiG)wind energy conversion system connected to *** studied system consists of six DFiG wind turbines with a capacity of 1.5 MW for each of *** operation mechanism of proposed technique is used to connect a set of crowbar resistors in different connection ways via activation of controllable circuit breakers(CBs)depending on the detected fault *** each phase of DFiG,a crowbar resistor is connected in parallel with a controllable CB and all of them are connected in series to grid *** adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFiS)networks are designed to detect the fault occurrence,classify the fault type,activate the CBs for crowbar resistors associated with faulted phases during fault period,and deactivate them after fault *** effectiveness of proposed CBFT protection technique is investigated for different fault types such as symmetrical and unsymmetrical faults taking into account the single-phase to ground fault is the most frequently fault type that occurs in power ***,a comparison between the behaviours of studied system in cases of using traditional parallel rotor crowbar,classical outer crowbar,and proposed CBFT protection techniques is *** fluctuations of DC-link voltage,active power,and reactive power for studied system equipped with different protection techniques are ***,the impacts of different crowbar resistance values on the accuracy of proposed technique are *** simulation results show that,the proposed technique enhances the stability of studied wind turbine generators and contributes in protection of their components during faults.

This paper presents a design of robust intelligent protection technique using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFiS)approach to detect and classify the fault types during various faults occurrence in large-scale grid-connected wind ***,it is designed to determine the fault location and isolate the wind turbine generators located in the faulted zone during fault occurrence and reconnect them after fault *** studied wind farm has a total rating capacity of 120 MW,where it consists of 60 doubly fed induction generator(DFiG)wind turbines each has a capacity of 2 ***,the wind farm generators are positioned in 6 rows,where each row consists of 10 *** impacts of fault type,fault location,fault duration,cascaded faults,permanent fault and external grid fault on the behaviours of the generated active and reactive power are ***,the impacts of internal and external faults in cases of different transition resistances are *** simulation results indicate that,the proposed ANFiS protection technique has the ability to detect,classify and determine the fault location,then isolate the faulted zones during fault occurrence and reconnect them after fault ***,the wind turbines generators which are located in un-faulted zones can stay to deliver their generated active power to the grid during fault period.

An innovative application ofthe solventevaporation technique was *** tech nique is a technique for drug encapsulation and nanosphere *** widely used technique is also facing the problem of low actual drug entrapment percent,which is not economic from the industrial *** goal of this work is trying to use the advantage of this technique concerning the product sphericity and the ability to control particle size,to prepare a drug as pure crystals *** is selected as a model *** spheres are formed by using Polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP)or Polyethylene glycol(PEG)as an anti-aggregating agent but not formed on using tween or *** size and actual drug content depend on the concentrations the anti-aggregating agent *** of the drug crystal spheres are porous with empty sphere internal structure on using PvP but spongy and rough on using *** drug has its identity chemical form in the drug crystal *** scan of spheres prepared on using PEG showed a characteristic ether *** showed melting endothermic peak of PEG,but X-ray showed minor change in the drug crystal *** release profiles from crystal spheres prepared with the same anti-aggregating agent are close to each *** drug release profiles from drug crystal spheres prepared by using PEG are more controlled than that prepared by using *** drug release mechanism is *** was concluded that,the same technique could be suggested for preparation ofother biomedical material in pure crystals spheres with controlled particle *** properties may encourage to prepare very small particles with spherical shape for inhalation or injection as an innovative particle technology application for the widely used technique.

Monolayer MoS_(2)has a promising optoelectronics property,with a bandgap in the visible range;the material is a potential candidate for solar cell *** this work,we grew MoS_(2)monolayers using a low-pressure chemical vapor deposition *** produce uniform wafer-scale MoS_(2)monolayer films,precursors molybdenum dioxide(MoO_(2))and sulfur(S)are *** force microscopy was used to quantify the thickness of the monolayers,and the result was validated by Raman *** electron microscopy(TEM)was used to confirm the crystalline quality of the monolayers,and photoluminescence spectroscopy was used to evaluate their optical *** were able to create a Schottky solar cell with a MoS_(2)monolayer up to 1 cm2 area by transferring monolayer film to n-type *** MoS_(2)/n-Si Schottky solar cell demonstrated photovoltaic characteristics with a short circuit current density of 14.8 mA cm^(-2)and an open-circuit voltage of 0.32 V under 100 mW cm^(-2)*** fill factor and energy conversion efficiency were 53%and 2.46%,respectively,with the highest external quantum efficiency at 530 nm being 44%.

The viscosity behavior of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)has been determined at 25℃ in mixed solvents comprising water/dimethylformamide(DMF)and water/methanol(MeOH).Analysis of the data has considered the PVP as being both host and guest polymer in *** intrinsic viscosity of PVP in DMF is higher than in water and in MeOH,but also increases in a mixed solvent with high water content because of the effect of polymer-solvent *** was also found that the intrinsic viscosity of PVP at finite concentration,[η_(pvp)]_c decreases with an increase in the concentration of PVP in *** viscosity behavior of PVP in a mixed solvent is affected by the concentration-dependent intermolecular excluded volume effect,which can be quantitatively expressed by the parameter,b_Y,which reflects the shrinkage of PVP chain coils,resulting in a decrease of[η_(pvp)]_*** effect of temperature on the viscosity behavior of PVP in MeOH shows that the interaction parameter increases up to a maximum value,and then decreases after a certain temperature.

A recent fascinating development in the study of high-grade metamorphic basements is represented by the finding of tiny inclusions of crystallized melt(nanogranitoid inclusions) hosted in peritectic phases of migmatites and granulites. These inclusions have the potential to provide the primary composition of crustal melts at the source. A novel use of the recently-published nanogranitoid compositional database is presented here. Using granulites from the world-renowned ivrea Zone(NW italy) on which the original melt-reintegration approach has been previously applied, it is shown that reintegrating melt inclusion compositions from the published database into residual rock compositions can be a further useful method to reconstruct a plausible prograde history of melt-depleted rocks. This reconstruction is fundamental to investigate the tectonothermal history of geological terranes.
