Aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion battery(ZIB)is considered to be a potential energy storage system for large-scale applications due to its environmental friendliness,high safety,and low ***,it remains challenging to develop suitable cathode materials with high specific capacity and long-term cyclic ***,we have fabricated freestanding Sr0.19V2O51.3H2O/carbon nanotubes(SrVO/CNTs)composite films with different mass ratios by incorporating SrVO into CNTs *** synthesized SrVO possesses a large interlayer spacing of 1.31 nm,which facilitates Zn(2+)***,the SrVO/CNTs composite film with conductive network structure promotes electron transfer and ensures good contact between SrVO and CNTs during the long-term cycling *** a result,the battery based on the SrVO/CNTs composite cathode with a mass ratio of 7:3 delivers a specific capacity of 326 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1)and 145 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 A·g^(-1),demonstrating a high capacity and excellent rate ***,the assembled ZIB shows good capacity retention of 91%even after ultra-long cycling for 7500 cycles at a high current rate of 5 Ag^(-1).More importantly,the battery also delivers a high energy density and power density,as 290 Wh·kg^(-1)at 125 W·kg^(-1)(0.1 A·g^(-1)),or 115 Wh·kg^(-1)at 6078 W·kg^(-1)(5 Ag^(-1)).The results demonstrate that the SrVO/CNTs composite is a promising cathode toward large-scale energy storage applications.

Spatio-Temporal Assessment of the Performance of March to May 2020 Long Rains and Its Socio-economic Implications in Northern Coast of Tanzania

The spatio-temporal analysis of the performance of the March to May (MAM) 2020 rainfall and its societal implications to Northern Coastal Tanzania (NCT) including Zanzibar was investigated. The uniqueness of the October to December, 2019 (OND) rainfall and the extension of the January to February, 2020 rainfall in Zanzibar which coincided with MAM 2020 rainfall was among the issues which prolonged MAM 2020 rainfall in NCT and Zanzibar. The National Center for environmental Prediction (NCeP) in collaboration with National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Reanalysis 1 datasets of u (zonal) and v (meridional) winds, sea surface temperatures anomalies, relative humidity, amount of precipitable water and ocean net flux were analyzed. Other datasets include the Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) observed rainfall records, maximum and minimum temperatures. Interpretation of Aeromagnetic Data on the Area around Aswan-Berenice Road, Southeast Aswan, egypt

The area around Aswan-Berenice Road southeast Aswan is geophysically studied to delineate the subsurface structures and to evaluate the tectonic framework of the basement rocks and the overlying sedimentary cover. This area comprises a variety of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, ranging in age from Precambrian to Quaternary time. The interpretation of the aeromagnetic data around Aswan-Berenice Road was carried out using GM-SYS modeling technique. Many methods were performed to the RTP aeromagnetic map of the study area such as filtering and trend analysis techniques. The tracing upward and downward of the deduced subsurface structures was investigated using trend analysis for the surface geology and filtered magnetic maps. The locating and determination of the approximate depth of the causative bodies were done using euler deconvolution, Werner deconvolution and 2.5 dimension magnetic modeling techniques. The obtained results indicate that the most significant tectonic trends are N-S and e-W, which they are in accordance with the local trends of River Nile and Kalabsha fault respectively. Less common trends as NW-Se and Ne-SW directions are also detected. Also, the depth to the basement rocks ranges from 0 km at the exposed parts to 1.4 km at the covered parts.

Recent geodynamics of major strike-slip zones

The subject of this study is strike-slip fault zones, where temporal variations of accumulation in strike-slip deformation complicate the standard process of deformation accu- mulation and release during strong earthquakes. These temporal variations are expressed in the e1 Ghab segment of the Dead Sea Transform zone （DST, eastern Mediterranean） and in the Talas-Fergana fault zone （Central Asia）. According to Global Positioning System （GPS） data, the strike-slip deformations within these zones are not now accumulating or are accumulating at a rate that is significantly less than their average rate during the Holocene and Quaternary or the Pliocene-Quaternary. Simultaneously, weak transverse shortening has been measured in both zones by GPS. In both of these zones, strong earthquakes have not registered within the XX century, yet epochs of intensified seismicity （strong earthquakes） took place throughout history. In the southern and central parts of the e1 Ghab zone, there is evidence of 30 strong historical earthquakes of Ms ≥ 5.7; however, no instrumental earthquakes of Ms 〉 5 have been identified. The temporal distribution of seismic energy released by these earthquakes demonstrates a 350 ± 50-year cycle. Values for the seismic energies released during the peak phases of these cycles are approximated by a sinusoid that suggests the possibility of a 〉1800-year cycle （＂hyper-cycle＂）, which began around the 3rd century, reached its maximum in the 12th century, and has continued until now. A combination of geological, archaeoseismological, and geodetic data show that the rate of sinistral strike-slip deformation varied in the fault zone, probably in conformity with the variation of seismicity during the ＂hyper-cycle.＂ In the Talas-Fergana fault zone, trenching and 14C dating that was correlated with right lateral offsets, gave a possible preliminary estimate of the average rates of the Late Holocene strike slip of about 10 mm per year, with a decrease in the Se directi

A Precoding Real-Time Buffer Based Self-Healing Solution for 5G Networks

In order to meet key requirements imposed by transitioning to a 5G network, new network management techniques must be employed in order to increase network reliability and efficiency. Most notably, it is important that a Self-Organizing Network (SON) is able to recover autonomously from network failure or congestion through Self-Healing procedures (i.e. autonomous detection, diagnosis, and correction). This paper aims to develop a self-healing algorithm that can effectively “heal” a 5G network by testing a proposed self-healing algorithm within a network simulator that adheres to current 5G standards. The simulator developed in this paper aims to model a network of small cells that can inherit one of multiple states (healthy, congested, and failing) to validate the effectiveness of a programmed self-healing algorithm in recovering a simulated network. Results show that the application of a self-healing in a network is able to resolve issues related to Quality of Service (QoS) and reduced network data rates in portions of a network that are in a partially congested or failing state.

Multi-hazard socio-physical resilience assessment of hurricane-induced hazards on coastal communities

Hurricane-induced hazards can result in significant damage to the built environment cascading into major impacts to the households,social institutions,and local *** quantifying physical impacts of hurricane-induced hazards is essential for risk analysis,it is necessary but not sufficient for community resilience *** there have been several studies on hurricane risk and recovery assessment at the building-and community-level,few studies have focused on the nexus of coupled physical and social disruptions,particularly when char-acterizing recovery in the face of coastal ***,this study presents an integrated approach to quantify the socio-physical disruption following hurricane-induced multi-hazards(e.g.,wind,storm surge,wave)by considering the physical damage and functionality of the built environment along with the population dynamics over ***,high-resolution fragility models of buildings,and power and transportation infrastructures capture the combined impacts of hurricane loading on the built *** simulat-ing recovery by tracking infrastructure network performance metrics,such as access to essential facilities,this coupled socio-physical approach affords projection of post-hazard population dislocation and temporal evolution of housing and household recovery constrained by the building and infrastructure *** results reveal the relative importance of multi-hazard consideration in the damage and recovery assessment of communities,along with the role of interdependent socio-physical system modeling when evaluating metrics such as housing recovery or the need for emergency ***,the methodology presented here provides a foundation for resilience-informed decisions for coastal communities.

The Case Against Delusional Parasitosis

The body of knowledge on delusional parasitosis incriminates ＂delusional patients＂ as having imaginary external and/or internal symptoms that feel like parasite movements, dismisses them as psychiatric cases, and confuses cause with effect. The author is critical of these arguments and believes that the symptoms of crawling and pin-pricking are genuine; just misinterpreted as parasite movements. Based on the author＇s research on over 1000 ＂delusional＂ patients since 1996 at the Parasitology Center, Inc. （PCI）, the author has established that the symptoms of crawling and pin-pricking are caused by toxicity from exposure to incompatible dental materials, implants, environmental toxins among others that alter the propagation of normal nerve impulses. The author has also observed that external parasites/organisms including springtails （Collembola）, other arthropods, bacteria, and fungi represent only opportunistic infections of skin sites compromised by the toxicity disorder involving the elimination of toxins through the skin. The author has described a new pathological disorder, Neuro-cutaneous Syndrome （NCS） primarily associated with dental toxicity to which ＂delusional parasitosis＂ and Morgellons disease cases could be assigned. The author has developed a protocol for the resolution of the symptoms of NCS cases. When followed to the letter, all symptoms of NCS, conventionally called delusional parasitosis, are invariably and irreversibly resolved; each individual＇s unique circumstances taken into account. The author is also presenting a detailed case history of an NCS patient that has recovered from her experiential personal perspective.

Plants contain various factors that transiently interact with subunits or intermediates of the thylakoid multiprotein complexes, promoting their stable association and integration. Hence, assembly factors are essential for chloroplast development and the transition from heterotrophic to phototrophic growth. Snowy cotyledon 2 （SCO2） is a DNAJ-like protein involved in thylakoid membrane biogenesis and interacts with the light-harvesting chlorophyll-binding protein LHCBI. In Arabidopsis thaliana, SCO2 function was previ- ously reported to be restricted to cotyledons. Here we show that disruption of SC02 in Lotus japonicus results not only in paler cotyledons but also in variegated true leaves. Furthermore, smaller and pale- green true leaves can also be observed in A. thaliana sco2 （atsco2） mutants under short-day conditions. In both species, SCO2 is required for proper accumulation of PSlI-LHCll complexes. In contrast to other variegated mutants, inhibition of chloroplastic translation strongly affects L. japonicus sco2 mutant devel- opment and fails to suppress their variegated phenotype. Moreover, inactivation of the suppressor of variegation AtClpR1 in the atsco2 background results in an additive double-mutant phenotype with variegated true leaves. Taken together, our results indicate that SCO2 plays a distinct role in PSll assembly or repair and constitutes a novel factor involved in leaf variegation.

A 3-month randomized factorial design 4 × 2 (four levels 0, 15, 30, and 45%) of wet Date (WD), two levels (0 and 0.03%) of Digestarom? (D) and three replicates. The trial was conducted in twenty four glass aquaria. Ten fingerlings of Nile tilapia were placed in each aquarium with an average weight 15.40±0.3 g fish. Fish were fed twice daily (six days a week) at a rate of 3% of body weight. The results revealed that, mean final weight (g/fish), SGR (%/day), feed conversion ratio, PPV and PeR, were significantly (p ≤ 0.05) affected by the levels of WD and level of D. And the best diet achieved which containing 30% WD supplemented with 0.03% D. From the above results and the economic information of these studies it can be concluded that, diet containing 30% of WD with 0.03% D exhibited the highest net profit and would seem to be the most desirable level of WD and D in the system studied.
