Hydrochemistry a.d Qua.ity a.sessment of Wa.er in Ta.nur Da., Southern Jorda.

The study wa. underta.en to a.sess the physicochemica. a.d chemica. qua.ity of the Ta.nur da. wa.er in southern Jorda.. The wa.er sa.ples were collected in two interva.s the first during Ma. 2015 a.d the second during September 2015. a.l sa.ples were a.a.yzed for tempera.ure, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, ma.or ca.ions (Ca.+, Mg2+, K+, Na.), a.d ma.or a.ions (Cl-, NO3-, HCO3- a.d SO42-). The hydrogeochemica. a.a.yses of thirty-six wa.er sa.ples were used to determine the properties a.d type of wa.er in the Ta.nur da.. The ion concentra.ion in the wa.er sa.ples wa. from dissolution of ca.bona.e rocks a.d ion excha.ge processes in cla.. The genera. chemistry of wa.er sa.ples wa. typica. a.ka.ine ea.th wa.ers with preva.ling bica.bona.e chloride. The PHREEQC Hydrogeochemica. modeling wa. used to obta.n the sa.ura.ion indices of specific minera. pha.es, which might be rela.ed to intera.tion with wa.er a.d a.uifer, a.d to identify the chemica. species of the dissolved ions. Ca.cite a.d dolomite solubility were a.sessed in terms of sa.ura.ion index where they show positive va.ues indica.ion oversa.ura.ed SI > 0. The hydrogeochemistry beha.ior is ra.her complica.ed a.d is a.fected by a.thropogenic a.d na.ura. sources. The positive correla.ion va.ues between va.ious pa.a.eters indica.e tha. most of ions result from sa.e lithologica. sources. The a.unda.ce of the ma.or ions in wa.er sa.ples is in the following order: HCO3-> Ca.+ > Cl- > NO3- > SO42-) > Na. > Mg2+ > K+. Wa.er sa.ples of the Ta.nur da. a.e genera.ly very ha.d, high to very high sa.ine a.d medium a.ka.ine in na.ure. High tota. ha.dness (TH) a.d tota. dissolved solids (TDS) in some sa.ples identify the permissible for domestic a.d irriga.ion purposes. a.cording to the residua. sodium ca.bona.e, Sa. a.d conductivity va.ues, the studied wa.er is suita.le for a.ricultura. purposes.

This study wa. underta.en to a.sess the physica., chemica. a.d hydrochemica. qua.ity of spring wa.er in the southwestern ba.in of Jorda. during a.60-month follow up monitoring study (a.ril 2009 to a.ril 2014). The sa.ples were a.a.yzed for tempera.ure, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, ma.or ca.ions, ma.or a.ions a.d tra.e meta.s. The results show tha. there were considera.le va.ia.ions a.ong the a.a.yzed sa.ples with respect to their physica. a.d chemica. pa.a.eters, which lie below the ma.imum permissible levels of the Jorda.ia. a.d World Hea.th Orga.iza.ion (WHO) drinking wa.er sta.da.ds. This study shows tha. the tra.e meta.s of spring wa.er in the study a.ea.do not genera.ly pose a.y hea.th or environmenta. issues. The a.sessment of wa.er sa.ples indica.es tha. groundwa.er, in genera., is chemica.ly suita.le for drinking a.d a.ricultura. uses.

Eva.ua.ion of a.sessment of the meta. processes governing the meta.s distribution in soil a.d dust sa.ples is very significa.t a.d protects the hea.th of huma. a.d ecologica. system. Recently, specia. a.tention ha. given to the a.sessment of meta.s pollution impa.t on soil a.d dust within industria. a.ea.. This study a.ms to a.sess the meta. conta.ina.ion levels in the topsoil a.d street dust a.ound the cement fa.tory in Qa.issiya.a.ea. southern Jorda.. The levels of seven meta.s (na.ely Fe, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cr, Cd, a.d Mn) were a.a.yzed using Fla.e a.omic a.sorption Spec-trophotometer (Fa.S) to monitor, eva.ua.e, a.d to compa.e topsoil a.d roa. dust pollution va.ues of meta.s of the different types of urba. a.ea. The physicochemica. pa.a.eters which believed to a.fect the mobility of meta.s in the soil of the study a.ea.were determined such a. pH, EC, TOM, Ca.O3 a.d CEC. The levels of meta. in soil sa.ples a.e grea.er on the surfa.e but decrea.e in the lower pa.t a. a.result of the ba.ic na.ure of soil. The mea. va.ues of the meta.s in soil ca. be a.ra.ged in the following order: Zn > Pb > Mn > Fe > Cu > Cr > Cd. The rela.ively high concentra.ion of meta.s in the soil sa.ple wa. a.tributed to a.thropogenic a.tivities such a. tra.fic emissions, cement fa.tory a.d a.ricultura. a.tivities. Correla.ion coefficient a.a.ysis a.d the spa.ia. distribution of indices a.d the results of sta.istica. a.a.ysis indica.e three groups of meta.s: Fe a.d Mn result by na.ura. origin, Zn, Pb, Cu a.d Zn result by a.thropogenic origin (ma.nly motor vehicle tra.fic a.d a.ra.ion of tires) while Cd is mixed origin. The higher content level va.ues of meta.s of a.thropogenic source in soil sa.ples indica.e tha. it is a.source of conta.ina.ion of a.r in the studied a.ea. .

This study focuses on a.a.yzing the performa.ce of RIS systems to ga.n a.deeper understa.ding of their *** pa.er presents a.ma.hema.ica. a.a.ysis of the RIS system,deriving closed-form formula. tha. express its cha.a.teristics including signa.-to-noise ra.io(SNR)distribution,ergodic a.d effective ca.a.ity,outa.e,a.d error proba.ility. The obta.ned formula. a.e newly derived a.d unconditiona.ly va.id solutions. Numerica. results demonstra.e a.close a.reement between the derived formula. a.d MonteCa.lo simula.ion outcomes.

In this study,the potentia. implementa.ion of three different low-GWP refrigera.ts(R32,R452B,a.d R454B)a. repla.ements for R410a.wa. *** study wa. performed using a.simula.ion tool developed by the a.thors ca.led Ra.HP-La.,which is a.va.or compression system simula.ion tool developed ba.ed on physics-ba.ed simula.ion for typica. mini-split a.r *** simula.ion study wa. ca.ried out a.d va.ida.ed using experimenta. performa.ce da.a.of 10 different a.r conditioning units a.a.la.le in the Egyptia. *** units included fixed-speed or va.ia.le-speed compressors a.d opera.ed in cooling or hea.ing ***-in repla.e-ment with the new refrigera.ts wa. ca.ried *** R32,the ca.a.ity increa.ed between 4.9%a.d 13%for cooling ca.es,a.d 6.3%a.d 12.4%for hea.ing ***,COP did not improve in a.l *** R452B a.d R454B with direct repla.ement,the ca.a.ity nea.ly rema.ned the sa.e,with a. increa.e of COP between 1.6%a.d 8.0%.Soft optimiza.ion wa. a.so conducted on cooling ca.es where compressor suction superhea.,condenser subcooling,a.d compressor volumetric speed were optimized to ma.imize COP while ma.nta.ning the origina. ca.a.ity of R410a.R32 showed a. improvement of COP over R410a.between 4.6%a.d 15.5%,while for R452B a.d R454B between 2.2%a.d 13.2%.
