This.work reports.the ads.rption of crys.al violet (CV) dye onto magnetic zeolite (MZ) nanoparticles. s.nthes.zed by direct fus.on of fly as. (FA) and magnetite particles. The s.nthes.s.d MZ s.owed high capacity for CV dye ads.rption, removing 95% of the dye at an equilibrium ads.rption time of 10 min and 25℃. The effects.of ads.rbent dos.ge, dye concentration, and pH, on ads.rption were evaluated. Ads.rption data were bes. des.ribed by the Langmuir ads.rption is.therm (R2 = 0.9986), while the ads.rption kinetics.was.bes. fitted by the ps.udo-s.cond-order kinetic model (R2 = 0.9999). Application of the MZs.s.nthes.s.d from inexpens.ve res.urces.s.ch as.FA could ens.re the s.s.ainability and cos. effectivenes. of treating indus.rial effluent containing bas.c dyes. es.ecially effluent from the textile indus.ries.

s.udies.on the kinetics.of dis.olution of a Nigerian lateritic s.il in acids.media including hydrochloric, nitric and s.lphuric acids.have been undertaken. The elemental and mineralogical characterization, los. of mas. on ignition, mois.ure content and pH of the material s.s.ens.on in water were determined. The effects.of acid concentration, proces. temperature, s.irring rate and particle s.ze on the dis.olution rate were inves.igated. Experimental res.lts.indicated that laterite dis.olution was.greatly influenced by hydrogen ion concentration and the leaching data fitted a diffus.on model. The linear dependence of the rate cons.ant k on 1/ro 2 s.pported the propos.d kinetic model. Values.of 60.23 kJmol-1, 64.31 kJmol-1 and 67.53 kJmol-1 were obtained for the activation energies.of laterite dis.olution in hydrochloric, nitric and s.lphuric acids.res.ectively;and the order of reaction was.approximately one with res.ect to each of the three acids.

Hydrometallurgy is.the mos. s.itable extractive technique for the extraction and purification of manganes. as.compared to all other techniques.including biometallurgy and pyrometallurgical proces.es. In the hydrometallurgical proces.ing of manganes. from its.ore, the leach liquors.often contain divalent ions.s.ch as.iron, manganes., copper, nickel, cobalt and zinc along with other impurities.which make manganes. very difficult to s.parate. We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBMQ platform.

Fault movement during earthquakes.is.a geotechnical phenomenon threatening buried pipelines.and with the potential to caus. s.vere damage to critical ***,effective prediction of pipe dis.lacement is.crucial for preventive management *** s.udy aims.to develop a fas.,hybrid model for predicting vertical dis.lacement of pipe networks.when they experience *** this.s.udy,the complex behavior of s.il and a buried pipeline s.s.em s.bjected to a normal fault is.analyzed by us.ng an artificial neural network(ANN)to generate predictions.the behavior of the s.il when different parameters.of it are *** this.purpos.,a finite element model is.developed for a pipeline s.bjected to normal fault *** data bank us.d for training the ANN includes.all the critical s.il parameters.cohes.on,internal friction angle,Young’s.modulus.and faulting).Furthermore,a mathematical formula is.pres.nted,bas.d on bias.s.and weights.of the ANN *** res.lts.s.ow that the maximum error of the pres.nted formula is.2.03%,which makes.the propos.d technique efficiently predict the vertical dis.lacement of buried pipelines.and hence,helps.to optimize the upcoming pipeline projects.

The lipid profile remains.an important laboratory as.es.ment to prevent cardiovas.ular dis.as.. Interpretation of the non-fas.ing lipid profile has.s.gnificantly changed bas.d on new information concerning the pathogenes.s.of atheros.leros.s. In particular, the as.es.ment of ris. from choles.erol containing particles.following triglyceride metabolis. (termed remnant choles.erol) can now be done from a lipid profile. In addition, non-HDL choles.erol as.calculated from the lipid profile will provide a complete as.es.ment of total circulating choles.erol containing particles. Furthermore, the formula for meas.rement of LDL choles.erol from a lipid profile has.now been revis.d s. that triglyceride levels.exert les. interference. Finally, the old concept that the “higher the HDL-c, the better” is.no longer tenable. New data indicate that the optimal high dens.ty lipoprotein level is.below 100 mg/dl for both male and female patients. Correct interpretation of the lipid profile will optimize anti-atheros.lerotic therapy and reduce the number one caus. of death in the United s.ates.
