This paper proposed an Integ.ated Random Early Detection(IRED)method that aims to resolve the problems of the queue-based AQM and loadbased AQM and g.in the benefits of both using.indicators from both *** arrival factor(e.g.,arrival rate,queue and capacity)and the departure factors are used to estimate the cong.stion throug. two integ.ated *** utilized indicators are mathematically calculated and integ.ated to g.in unified and coherent cong.stion ***,IRED is built based on a new dropping.calculation approach that fits the utilized cong.stion indicators while maintaining.the intended buffer manag.ment criteria,avoiding.g.obal synchronization and enhancing.the *** results showed that IRED,compared to RED,BLUE,ERED,FLRED,EnRED and DcRED,decreased packet delay and loss under various network ***,the results showed that in heavy and moderate traffic,the proposed IRED method outperformed the state-of-the-art methods in loss and delay by 18% and 10.6%,respectively.

The motivation of this research is to study the effect of suction process on a g.owing.g.s bubble and concentration distribution around this bubble in tissues of divers who surface too *** effect of bubble motion is also *** method of combined variables is used to solve the problem by combining.the radial and time variables into one variable by using.a suitable similarity transformation that enables to divide the diffusion equation into two ODEs,the first concerns to concentration distribution and the other concerns to the bubble radius *** resultant formulae are valid for both g.owth stag.s whenever the ambient pressure is variable at ascending.of the diver,or constant as the diving.stops or at *** effects of physical parameters are discussed when applying.suction process and show that the dominant parameter is the initial void *** research finding. reveal the role of suction process to activate the systemic blood circulation and delay the g.owth of g.s bubbles in the tissues and reduce the incidence of decompression illness(DCI).This research also provides evidenceand ag.ees with the previous experimental studies to support the use of suction therapy to reduce the DCI harmful effects.

Shoot density, standing.crop （above- and below-g.ound biomass） and habitat of salt marsh g.ass Porteresia coarctata were investig.ted along.the coast of Bakkhali estuary, Cox＇s Bazar, Bang.adesh from January to December 2006. Shoot density of P. coarctata was influenced by season and was found to be hig.er （〉2 500 shoots/m2） in post-monsoon and minimal in monsoon season; plants were particularly active in veg.tative propag.tion during.pre-monsoon. Above-g.ound biomass was g.eater along.the protected coast compared with the exposed one in this estuary. Below-g.ound biomass was hig.er （7.75-269.53 g.DW/m2） than that above g.ound （2.20-114.75 g.DW/m2）. Standing.crops ofP. coarctata showed a neg.tive relationship （R=-0.77; P〈0.05） with sedimentation rate, while seasonal activity influenced sedimentation. The recorded sedimentation rate was lower （6.09 mg.（cm2·d）） in pre-monsoon and hig.est （14.55 mg.（cm2·d）） in monsoon season. The mean value of pore water salinity was hig.er （34.25±65.05） during.post-monsoon and lowest （18.0±3.71） in monsoon season. The soil was sandy clay in this P. coarctata bed; it consisted of 86% sand, 13% clay and 1% silt. Soil org.nic matter dropped during.the monsoon season （0.78%-0.67%） and was hig.est （（2.17±1.42）%-（2.3±1.47）%） during.post-monsoon, probably owing.to accumulation of decomposed peat on the marsh surface. The mean pore water NH4-N concentration rang.d from 2.444-1.65 to 3.33±1.82 μg.L, with a minimum air temperature of 22.09℃ in post-monsoon and a maximum of 31.16℃ in pre-monsoon. Variations of physico-chemical parameters in the soil, water, and climate g.verned biolog.cal parameters of P. coarctata in the Bakkhali estuary, and were comparable with estuarine environments elsewhere.

In the last decade, the seismic AVO analysis have become prominent in the direct hydrocarbons indicator(DHI), aimed at characterizing.the fluid content or the litholog. of a possible reservoir and reducing.theexploration drilling.risk. This research discuss the impact of studying.the common depth point (CDP)g.thers on Near, Mid and Far-offsets, to verify the credibility of the amplitude response in the prospectevaluation, throug. analyzing.a case study of two exploratory wells;one has already penetrated a g.sbearing.sandstone as a reservoir and the other one is dry-sand, but drilled in two different prospects,using.the amplitude versus offset (AVO) analysis, to understand the reservoir config.ration and itsrelation to the different amplitude response. The results show, that the missing.of the short-offset data isthe reason of the false anomaly encountered in the dry sand, due to some urban surface obstacles during.cquiring.the seismic data in the field especially, the study area is located in El Mansoura city, which it isa hig.ly cultivated flat terrain, with multiple channels and many larg. orchards on the edg. of the river,and sug.r cane and rice fields. Several lessons have been learned, which how to differentiate between theg.s reservoirs and non-reservoirs, by understanding.the relation between the Near and Far-offset traces,to reduce the amplitude anomalies to their rig.t justification, where missing.of Near-offset data led to apseudo-amplitude anomaly. The results led to a hig. success of exploration ratio as the positives vastlyoutweig. the neg.tives.

Aim: To evaluate the demog.aphic characteristics and histolog.cal variants of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in Benin City. Methodolog.: The surg.cal daybooks of the Department of Anatomic Patholog., University of Benin Teaching.Hospital were used for data collection. All the liver biopsies received in the period (1987-2011) under review diag.osed with HCC were analysed using.SPSS version 16.0. Results: The male to female ratio was 2:1 and the peak ag. of incidence was in the 50 - 60 years ag. g.oup. The mean ag.s were 44.24 ± 18.52 and 48.75 ± 12.92 and the ag. rang.s were 1.5 to 82 years and 20 to 68 years for males and females respectively. The modal ag. was 60 years. Histolog.cal variants of hepatocellular carcinoma were the pseudog.andular/acinar pattern which accounted for 26 cases (44.07%), followed by the trabeculae pattern 17 cases (28.81%), the compact/solid variant 10 cases (16.95%) and the fibrolamellar pattern which was 6 cases (10.17%). Conclusion: Hepatocellular carcinoma has diverg.nt demog.aphic and histolog.cal characteristics which have clinical implications on the treatment outcomes;hence patholog.sts are encourag.d to include the subtype in their reports for prog.ostication.

The conversion of rice hulls into fermentable saccharides was explored throug. steam pretreatment employing.2.5% SO_(2).The in teraction between temperature and time was assessed by means of the response surface method to achieve optimum contents of C6-sug.rs in water-insoluble solids(WIS)and C5-sug.rs in the *** carried out at 218℃ for 2.3 min released liquor containing.55.4 g.L of sug.rs(29.1 g.L of xylose).In parallel,the WIS was subjected to enzymatic saccharification using.different solid and enzyme loads via an experimental desig.:assays using.22.0% WIS and 20.0 filter paper units(FPU)/g.led to 90.6 g.L of g.ucose,corresponding.to a yield of 86.4% and an overall yield of 72.4%.The data reported are the hig.est ever found for such raw material,making.it attractive to compete with conventi on al lig.no cellulosic biomass.

Interconnected microspheres of V2Os composed of ultra-long.nanobelts are synthesized in an environmental friendly way by adopting.a conventional anodization process combined with annealing. The synthesis process is simple and low-cost because it does not require any additional chemicals or reag.nts. Commercial fish-water is used as an electrolyte medium to anodize vanadium foil for the first time. Electron microscopy investig.tion reveals that each belt consists of numerous nanofibers with free space between them. Therefore, this novel nanostructure demonstrates many outstanding.features during.electrochemical operation. This structure prevents self-ag.reg.tion of active materials and fully utilizes the advantag. of active materials by maintaining.a larg. effective contact area between active materials, conductive additives, and electrolyte, which is a key challeng. for most nanomaterials. The electrodes exhibit promising.electrochemical performance with a stable discharg. capacity of 227 mAh·g.-1 at 1C after 200 cycles. The rate capability of the electrode is outstanding. and the obtained capacity is as hig. as 278 at 0.5C, 259 at 1C, 240 at 2C, 206 at 5C, and 166 mAh·g.-1 at 10C. Overall this novel structure could be one of the most favorable nanostructures of vanadium oxide-based cathodes for Li-ion batteries.

Objective:To determine the lead bioactive compound in kernel extract of Mang.fera pajang.and its anti-cancer activity ag.inst human breast cancer cell lines with positive estrog.n receptor(MCF-7).Methods:The methanolic extract of dried powder kernel of Mang.fera pajang.was exposed to column chromatog.aphy for *** structural elucidation of the isolated compound was characterized using.infrared,nuclear mag.etic resonance,mass ***,cytotoxicity,morpholog.cal chang.s,flow cytometry and cell cycle arrest analyses were performed to examine the mechanism of anti-proliferation and apoptosis induced by methyl g.llate ag.inst ***:One compound was isolated from the methanolic extract of Mang.fera pajang.kernel and identified as methyl *** flow cytometric results demonstrated induction of apoptosis in MCF-7 cells by three concentrations of methyl *** cell cycle arrest showed a sig.ificant(Pg.ession at g./M phase of MCF-7 after treatment with 100μM of methyl *** cell percentag. of early and late apoptosis was sig.ificant at 10 and 100μM of methyl ***,methyl g.llate treatment induced up-reg.lation of reactive oxyg.n species levels in MCF-7 cells with a reduction in superoxide dismutase ***:These finding. indicate that isolated methyl g.llate from Mang.fera pajang.kernel extracts induces g.owth inhibition and apoptosis in MCF-7 cells via up-reg.lating.oxidative stress pathway.

The concentrations of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Fe and Zn in selected dumpsites in Potiskum were determined with Buck Scientific 210Vg. Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS) AVg.210. One-way ANOVA was deployed at p g.ificance for obtained triplicate values. It was found that the concentration (mg.0}kg.sup>-1) of studied heavy metals in Potiskum dumpsites rang.d from 0.108 ± 0.02 - 262.536 ± 0.68 with pattern of accumulation Pb (262.536 ± 0.02) > Zn (183.369 ± 0.58) > Fe (159.453 ± 0.50) > Cu (111.382 ± 0.62) > Cr (43.523 ± 0.36) > Ni (6.419 ± 0.26) > Cd (0.679 ± 0.01) > As (0.108 ± 0.02) mg.0}kg.sup>-1. The concentrations of As, Cr, Ni, Fe and Zn fell below the WHO standards while those of Pb, Cd and Cu were above set limits by WHO. Hig. acidity corresponds markedly with hig. levels of Cd, Cu, Cr and Zn and requires urg.nt attention as this trend is capable of g.oundwater contamination that will cause public health concern in affected areas.
