The integration of distributed renewable energy sources into the conventional power grid has become a hot research topic, all part of attempts to reduce greenhouse gas emission. There are many distributed renewable energy sources available and the network participants in energy delivery have also increased. This makes the management of the new power grid with integrated distributed renewable energy sources extremely complex. Applying the technical advantages of blockchain technology to this complex system to manage peer-to-peer energy sharing, transmission, data storage and build smart contracts between network participants can develop an optimal consensus mechanism within the new power grid. This paper proposes a new framework for the application of blockchain in a decentralised energy network. The microgrid is assumed to be private and managed by local prosumers. An overview description of the proposed model and a case study are presented in the paper.

While ontological modelling and Semantic Web technologies are sometimes used to describe knowledge domains with a spatial component,there is still a lack of semantics to describe how to present this knowledge geovisually to the end user and how to automatize the *** this paper,we first present vocabularies to describe at a high level the elements that make up a *** then propose a method that describes at a semantic level how to obtain a geovisualization from an existing data *** method is based on our vocabularies and on a set of semantic rules encoding rich and complex operations on *** leads to the derivation of ontological knowledge,ready to be exploited to automate the creation of a *** method is implemented in a framework that uses Semantic Web *** singularity and the strength of our proposal is that it enables to describe a geovisualization through a RDF specification file,which once loaded in our system makes the geovisualization directly available for use from a Web *** result is obtained by extending a priori an application data model with ad hoc geovisualization semantics features and rules.

In this work we present the first efficient algorithm for unsupervised training of multi-class regularized least- squares classifiers. The approach is closely related to the unsupervised extension of the support vector machine classifier known as maximum margin clustering, which recently has received considerable attention, though mostly considering the binary classification case. We present a combinatorial search scheme that combines steepest descent strategies with powerful meta-heuristics for avoiding bad local optima. The regularized least-squares based formulation of the problem allows us to use matrix algebraic optimization enabling constant time checks for the intermediate candidate solutions during the search. Our experimental evaluation indicates the potential of the novel method and demonstrates its superior clustering performance over a variety of competing methods on real world datasets. Both time complexity analysis and experimental comparisons show that the method can scale well to practical sized problems.

AIM:To analyze the pathogenetic role and potential clinical usefulness of the epidermal growth factor receptor(EgFR)and the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)in patients with advanced biliary tract cancer(BTC). METHODS:EgFR and HER2 expression was studied in biopsy samples from 124 patients(51%women; median age 64.8 years),with advanced BTC diagnosed between 1997 and *** micrometers sections of paraffin embedded tissue were examined by standard, FDA approved *** with scores of 2+or 3+for HER2 expression on immunochemistry were additionally tested for HER2 gene amplification by fluorescence in situ hybridisation(FISH).RESULTS:34/124 patients(27.4%)had gallbladder cancer,47(37.9%)had intrahepatic BTC and 43(34.7%)had extrahepatic or perihilar *** expression was examined in a subset of 56 samples. EgFR expression was absent in 22/56 tumors(39.3%). Of the remaining samples expression was scored as 1+in 12(21.5%),2+in 13(23.2%)and 3+in 9(16%), ***2 expression was as follows:score 0 73/124(58.8%),score 1+27/124(21.8%),score 2+ 21/124(17%)and score 3+4/124(3.2%).HER2 gene amplification was present in 6/124,resulting in an overall amplification rate of 5%. CONCLUSION:Our data suggest that routine testing and therapeutic targeting of HER2 does not seem to be useful in patients with BTC,while targeting EgFR may be promising.

Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is a common gastrointestinal disorder with a high incidence in the general *** diagnosis of IBS is mainly based on exclusion of other intestinal conditions through the absence of inflammatory markers and specific *** current pharmacological treatment approaches available focus on reducing symptom severity while often limiting quality of life because of significant side *** has led to an effectiveness gap for IBS patients that seek further relief to increase their quality of *** and alternative medicines(CAM)have been associated with a higher degree of symptom management and quality of life in IBS *** the past decade,a number of important clinical trials have shown that specific herbal therapies(peppermint oil and Iberogast?),hypnotherapy,cognitive behavior therapy,acupuncture,and yoga present with improved treatment outcomes in IBS *** propose an integrative approach to treating the diverse symptoms of IBS by combining the benefits of and need for pharmacotherapy with known CAM therapies to provide IBS patients with the best treatment outcome *** steps in this direction are already being considered with an increasing number of practitioners recommending CAM therapies to their patients if pharmacotherapy alone does not alleviate symptoms sufficiently.
