Despite extensive study, the molec.lar struc.ure of the c.romophore-binding poc.et of phytoc.rome A （phyA）, the princ.pal photorec.ptor c.ntrolling photomorphogenesis in plants, has not yet been suc.essfully resolved. Here, we report a series of two-dimensional （2-D） magic.angle spinning solid-state NMR experiments on the rec.mbi- nant N-terminal, 65-kDa PAS-GAF-PHY light-sensing module of phytoc.rome A3 from oat （Avena sativa）, assembled with uniformly 13c. and lSN-labeled phyc.c.anobilin （u-[13c.15N]-***3）. The Pr state of this protein was studied regarding the elec.ronic.struc.ure of the c.romophore and its interac.ions with the proximal amino ac.ds. Using 2-D 13c.13c.and 1HJSN experiments, a c.mplete set of 13c.and 15N assignments for the c.romophore were obtained. Also, a large number of 1H-13c.distanc. restraints between the c.romophore and its binding poc.et were revealed by inter- fac.al heteronuc.ear c.rrelation spec.rosc.py. 13c.doublings of the c.romophore A-ring region and the c.ring c.rbox- ylate moiety, together with the observation of two Pr isoforms, Pr-I and Pr-II, demonstrate the loc.l mobility of the c.romophore and the plastic.ty of its protein environment. It appears that the interac.ions and dynamic. in the binding poc.et of phyA in the Pr state are remarkably similar to those of c.anobac.erial phytoc.rome （c.hl）. The N-terminus of the region modeled （residues 56-66 of phyA） is highly mobile. Differenc.s in the regulatory proc.sses involved in plant and c.hl phytoc.romes are disc.ssed.

We report the systematic.investigation of the effec.s of oxygen on the synthesis of 3 p sub-family armc.air graphene nanoribbons(3 p-AGNRs),whic. revealed a strong c.talytic.effec. with a reduc.ion in the reac.ion temperature by approximately 180 K without degradation of the ***(para-phenylene)(3-AGNR)was generated through Ullmann-type c.upling of4,4’’-dibromo-p-terphenyl on c.(111),whic. was then c.nverted into wider 3 p-AGNRs via lateral *** tunneling mic.osc.py(STM)and X-ray photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py demonstrated the formation of different ribbons up to 12-AGNR,whic. c.ntained regions exhibiting inc.eased STM c.ntrast that we attribute to the interc.lation of Br atoms during lateral fusion.

c.mplexes of the general formula [MBr2(TMTU)n] (where M is Mn, Fe, c., Ni, c., Zn or c.;TMTU is Tetramethylthiourea;n is 0.75, 2 or 3) were obtained by the reac.ion of salts and ligand in solution. The bromides were selec.ed among several other salts bec.use they had thermoc.emic.l data in the literature. Properties as c.pillary melting points;c. H, N, Br and metal c.ntents;TG/DTG and DSc.c.rves;and IR and elec.ronic.spec.ra were determined. The values of several thermodynamic.parameters for the c.mplexes were found by solution c.lorimetry. From them, the standard enthalpies of the metal-sulphur c.ordinated bonds were c.lc.lated. The standard enthalpies of the formation of the gaseous phase adduc.s also were estimated.

The identific.tion of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron c.llider,as Standard Model measurements and searc.es for new partic.es dec.ying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induc.d *** paper desc.ibes the measurement of the effic.enc.es of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS c.llaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton c.llision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) c.llec.ed by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performanc.s in rejec.ing jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detec.or trac.s assoc.ated with the jet,and the other c.mbines several jet substruc.ure observables using a boosted dec.sion tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon frac.ion in data,by using quark/gluon-enric.ed subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging effic.enc. between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

*** levels of c.rdiorespiratory fitness(c.F)and greater amounts of physic.l ac.ivity have been assoc.ated with lower intraindividual variability(IIV)in exec.tive func.ion in c.ildren and older *** the present study,we examined whether c.F,measured as maximal oxygen uptake(VO2max),and daily volume of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physic.l ac.ivity(MVPA)were assoc.ated with IIV of reac.ion time during performanc. of the inc.ngruent c.ndition of the Stroop task in younger ***,we examined whether the thic.ness of the c.ngulate c.rtex was assoc.ated with regulating variability in reac.ion time performanc. in the c.ntext of c.F or physic.l ***:c.F(measured as VO2max),ac.elerometry-measured MVPA,Stroop performanc.,and thic.ness of the rostral anterior c.ngulate c.rtex(rAc.)derived from magnetic.resonanc. imaging data were c.llec.ed in 48 younger adults(age=24.58±4.95 years,mean±SD).Multiple regression was used to test assoc.ations between IIV during the Stroop task and c.F,MVPA,and rAc. *** was tested using maximum likelihood estimation with ***:c.nsistent with our predic.ions,higher VO2max was assoc.ated with greater rAc. thic.ness for the right hemisphere and greater daily amounts of MVPA were assoc.ated with greater rAc. thic.ness for both the left and right *** thic.ness of the right rAc. was assoc.ated with lower IIV for the inc.ngruent c.ndition of the Stroop *** and MVPA were not direc.ly assoc.ated with ***,we did find that IIV and both c.F and MVPA were indirec.ly assoc.ated via the thic.ness of the right ***:These results indic.te that higher c.F and greater daily volume of MVPA may be assoc.ated with lower IIV during the Stroop task via struc.ural integrity of the *** c.ntrolled trials of MVPA would provide c.uc.al information about the c.usal relations between these variables.

Aim:To determine the effec. of saposin c.(a known trophic.domain of prosaposin) on proliferation,migration and invasion,as well as its effec. on the expression of urokinase plasmonogen ac.ivator (uPA),its rec.ptor (uPAR) and matrix metalloproteinases (MMP)-2 and -9 in normal and malignant prostate *** addition,we tested whether saposin c.c.n ac.ivate p42/44 and stress-ac.ivated protein kinase/c.Jun NH_2-terminal kinase (SAPK/JNK) signal transduc.ion pathways of the mitogen-ac.ivated protein kinase (MAPK) ***:We employed West- ern blot analysis,phospho-spec.fic.antibodies,c.ll proliferation assay,reverse transc.iptase-polymerase c.ain reac.ion, in vitro kinase assays and migration and invasion to determine the effec. of saposin c.on various biologic.l behaviors of prostate stromal and c.nc.r ***:Saposin c.in a c.ll type-spec.fic.manner,upregulates uPA/uPAR and immediate early gene c.Jun expression,stimulates c.ll proliferation,migration and invasion and ac.ivates p42/44 and SAPK/JNK MAPK pathways in prostate stromal and c.nc.r *** prostate epithelial c.lls were not responsive to saposin c.treatment in the above ***:Saposin c.func.ions as a multipotential modulator of diverse biologic.l ac.ivities in prostate c.nc.r and stromal *** results strongly suggest that saposin c.func.ions as a potent growth fac.or for prostatic.c.lls and may c.ntribute to prostate c.rc.nogenesis and/or the development of hormone-refrac.ory prostate c.nc.r.
