Analytical conditions and practical methods of their realiz.tion are proposed to solve a problem of a command signal tracking for a nonlinear disturbed system. Nonlinear disturbed plants consisting of linear dynamic block and nonlinear block in feedback are considered. Nonlinear part of the plant and disturbance are unknown and bounded. The paper illustrates a possibility of applications of proposed algorithms to control libration angle of satellite.

The study investigates the potential of UAV-based remote sensing technique for monitoring of Norway spruce health condition in the affected forest *** objectives are:(1)to test the applicability of UAV visible an near-infrared(VNIR)and geometrical data based on z.values of point dense cloud(PDC)raster to separate forest species and dead trees in the study area;(2)to explore the relationship between UAV VNIR data and individual spruce health indicators from field sampling;and(3)to explore the possibility of the qualitative classification of spruce health *** based on NDVI and PDC raster was successfully applied for separation of spruce and silver fir,and for identification of dead tree *** between common beech and fir was distinguished by the object-oriented image *** was able to identify the presence of key indicators of spruce health,such as mechanical damage on stems and stem resin exudation linked to honey fungus infestation,while stem damage by peeling was identified at the significance *** results contributed to improving separation of coniferous(spruce and fir)tree species based on VNIR and PDC raster UAV data,and newly demonstrated the potential of NDVI for qualitative classification of spruce *** proposed methodology can be applicable for monitoring of spruce health condition in the local forest sites.

The European glass liz.rd,Pseudopus apodus(Pallas,1775),is a large,legless liz.rd with wide distribution across south-eastern Europe and eastern and central *** date,morphological diversification among populations on a geographically small scale has not yet been reported in this ***,we investigated the morphological variations and corresponding differences in habitat utiliz.tion between two populations of *** inhabiting the same biogeographical z.ne within a relatively close geographic *** hypothesiz.d that minor differences in habitat could induce a significant level of morphological differentiation,thus indicating morphological plasticity in this species on a small geographical *** sampled 164 individuals(92 from the Croatian mainland and 72 from the island of Cres).Results showed that *** indeed exhibited morphological differences between populations in the same biogeographical z.ne within a relatively close geographic area,with the Cres Island individuals being generally larger than the individuals from the *** ecological characteristics were similar in both populations(e.g.,soil temperature,distance to hiding place),whereas others were distinct(e.g.,air temperature and humidity).In addition,vegetation cover differed between the two sites,with more vegetation present on the mainland than on the ***,the Cres Island population showed clear sexual dimorphism,which was absent in the mainland population.

The physical properties of light fields at the subwavelength scale have emerged as extensively pursued objectives in nano-optics,photonics,and ***,we report that in the paraxial regime,the spectral density and the spectral axial coherence(z.coherence)structures in a submicron range can be generated by employing a light beam with a suitably chosen spatial coherence state in a counter-propagating configuration,in an open-end *** is established that while the spectral density forms an optical standing wave,the z.coherence state depends on the symmetry of the selected point pair and in particular,the phenomenon termed as periodical coherence switch is *** findings shed new light on the discussion of the role of spatial coherence in the photonic cavities,possibly inspiring further studies in the field of enhanced light-nanomaterials interactions by optical *** provides a versatile framework for tailoring coherence in subwavelength space with promising applications in metrology and imaging.

In the present work,the biomedical as-cast pure Mg,Mg–1 Ca and Mg–2 Sr alloys were processed with equal channel angular pressing(ECAP)technique to develop ultrafine microstructure within the materials,and their microstructures,mechanical properties,degradation behavior,cytocompatibility in vitro and biocompatibility in vivo were studied ***-gained microstructures and improved mechanical properties of these three materials after ECAP were confirmed compared to their as-cast ***,after ECAP the degradation rate of pure Mg was increased while that of Mg–1 Ca or Mg–2 Sr alloys decreased compared to the ascast ***,good in vitro cytocompatibility and in vivo biocompatibility of these three materials were revealed by cell cultural tests using osteoblastic MC3 T3-E1 and human mesenchymal stem cells(h MSC)and in vivo animal tests at the lateral epicondyle of SD-rats’*** study offers an alternative powerful avenue to achieve good comprehensive properties of magnesium-based biodegradable *** might also help to extend the applied range of magnesium-based biodegradable metals in orthopedic field.

Increasing evidence points to a role for killer immunoglobulin-like receptors(KIRs)in the development of autoimmune *** particular,a positive association of KIR3DS1(activating receptor)and a negative association of KIR3DL1(inhibitory receptor)alleles with ankylosing spondylitis(AS)have been reported by several ***,none of the studies analyz.d these associations in the context of functionality of polymorphic *** better understand how the KIR3DL1/3DS1 genes determine susceptibility to AS,we analyz.d the frequencies of alleles and genotypes encoding functional(KIR3DL1*F)and non-functional(KIR3DL1*004)*** genotyped 83 AS patients and 107 human leukocyte antigen(HLA)-B27-positive healthy controls from the Russian Caucasian population using a two-stage sequence-specific primer PCR,which distinguishes KIR3DS1,KIR3DL1*F and KIR3DL1*004 *** the patients carrying two functional KIR3DL1 alleles,those alleles were additionally genotyped to identify KIR3DL1*005 and KIR3DL1*007 alleles,which are functional but are expressed at low ***3DL1 was negatively associated with AS at the expense of KIR3DL1*F but not of KIR3DL1**** finding indicates that the inhibitory KIR3DL1 receptor protects against the development of AS and is not simply a passive counterpart of the segregating KIR3DS1 allele encoding the activating ***,analysis of genotype frequencies indicates that the presence of KIR3DS1 is a more important factor for AS susceptibility than the absence of KIR3DL1**** activation of either natural killer(NK)or T cells via the KIR3DS1 receptor can be one of the critical events in AS development,while the presence of the functional KIR3DL1 receptor has a protective ***,even individuals with a genotype that carried two inhibitory KIR3DL1 alleles expressed at high levels could develop AS.

A longitudinal assessment of retinal function and structure in the APP/PS1 transgenic mouse model of Alz.eimer’s disease

Background:A great body of evidence suggests that there are retinal functional and structural changes that occur in Alz.eimer’s disease(AD).However,whether such changes are primary or secondary remains to be *** studied a range of retinal functional and structural parameters in association with AD-specific pathophysiological markers in the double transgenic APP/PS1 and control mice across ***:Electroretinogram(ERG)and optical coherence tomography(OCT)was performed in APP/PS1 and wild type(WT)control mice every 3 months from 3 to 12 months of *** functional assessment,the a-and b-wave of the ERG,amplitude of oscillatory potentials(OP)and the positive scotopic threshold response(pSTR)were quantified at each time *** structural assessment,the inner and outer retinal thickness was segmented and measured from OCT *** memory was evaluated at 6,9 and 12 months of age using the novel object recognition *** beta(Aβ)distribution in the hippocampus and the retina were visualised at 3,6 and 12 months of *** intra-group analysis was performed to study rate of change for each parameter between the two ***:Inter-group analysis revealed a significant difference in b-wave and OPs of APP/PS1 compared to WT controls starting from 3 months(p<0.001).There was also a significant difference in the amplitude of pSTR between the two groups starting from 6 months(p<0.001).Furthermore,a significant difference in the inner retinal thickness,between the two groups,was observed starting from 9 months(p<0.001).Conclusions:We observed an age-related decline in retinal functional and structural parameters in both APP/PS1 and WT controls,however,inter-group analysis revealed that inner retinal functional and structural decline is exacerbated in APP/PS1 mice,and that retinal functional changes precede structural changes in this *** studies are required to confirm whether such phenomenon occurs in humans and if studying ret
