The worldwide chicken gene pool encompasses a remarkable,but shrinking,number of div.rgently selected breeds of div.rse *** study was a large-scale genome-wide analysis of the landscape of the complex molecular architecture,genetic v.riability,and detailed structure among 49 *** populations represent a significant sample of the world's chicken breeds from Europe(Russia,Czech Republic,France,Spain,UK,etc.),Asia(China),North America(USA),and Oceania(Australia).Based on the results of breed genotyping using the Illumina 60K single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)chip,a bioinformatic analysis was carried *** included the calculation of heterozygosity/homozygosity statistics,inbreeding coefficients,and effectiv. population *** also included assessment of linkage disequilibrium and construction of phylogenetic *** multidimensional scaling,principal component analysis,and ADMIXTURE-assisted global ancestry analysis,we explored the genetic structure of populations and subpopulations in each *** ov.rall 49-population phylogeny analysis was also performed,and a refined ev.lutionary model of chicken breed formation was proposed,which included egg,meat,dual-purpose types,and ambiguous *** a large-scale surv.y of genetic resources in poultry farming using modern genomic methods is of great interest both from the v.ewpoint of a general understanding of the genetics of the domestic chicken and for the further dev.lopment of genomic technologies and approaches in poultry *** general,whole genome SNP genotyping of promising chicken breeds from the worldwide gene pool will promote the further dev.lopment of modern genomic science as applied to poultry.

Lithium recov.ry from end-of-life Li-ion batteries(LIBs)through pyro-and hydrometallurgical recycling processes inv.lv.s sev.ral refining stages,with high consumption of reagents and energy.A competitiv. technological alternativ. is the electrochemical oxidation of the cathode materials,whereby lithium can be deintercalated and transferred to an electrolyte solution without the aid of chemical extracting *** article inv.stigates the potential to selectiv.ly recov.r Li from LIB cathode materials by direct electrochemical extraction in aqueous *** process allowed to recov.ring up to 98%of Li from high-purity commercial cathode materials(LiMn_(2)O_(4),LiCoO_(2),and Li Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Co_(1/3)O_(2))with a faradaic efficiency of 98%and negligible co-extraction of Co,Ni,and *** process was then applied to recov.r Li from the real waste LIBs black mass obtained by the physical treatment of electric v.hicle battery *** black mass contained graphite,conductiv. carbon,and metal impurities from current collectors and steel cases,which significantly influenced the ev.lution and performances of Li electrochemical ***,due to concomitant oxidation of impurities,lithium extraction yields and faradaic efficiencies were lower than those obtained with high-purity cathode *** oxidation was found to occur within the v.ltage range inv.stigated,but it could not quantitativ.ly explain the reduced Li extraction *** fact,a detailed inv.stigation rev.aled that abov. 1.3 v.***/Ag Cl,conductiv. carbon can be oxidized,contributing to the decreased Li *** on the reported experimental results,guidelines were prov.ded that quantitativ.ly enable the extraction of Li from the black mass,while prev.nting the simultaneous oxidation of impurities and,consequently,reducing the energy consumption of the proposed Li recov.ry method.

The paper presents the results of the sterlet sturgeon Acipenser ruthenus reintroduction into the Kama Reserv.ir(Perm Krai,Russia)by sterlet fry from hatcheries into the reserv.ir since *** effectiv.ness of hatchery releases was ev.luated by monitoring gillnet sampling *** results showed that the species was reported throughout entire Kama Reserv.ir,which contrasts with 1988-1994 data,when the species was registered only at the upper part of the reserv.ir near the Kama Riv.r *** highest number and biomass v.lues of catch per unit effort(CPUE)of the sterlet were found in submerged riv.r channels-the deepest habitats with flow conditions which are close to the ecological requirements of the *** distribution of the sterlet within the channel biotopes of the reserv.ir is defined by reduced *** biggest indiv.duals and the widest size range of the sterlet were typical for the upper area of the reserv.ir and Chusov.koy Bay,which hav. the greatest *** smallest sizes were typical for fish from catches near the dam of the reserv.ir,which is consistent with the published data on the distribution of sterlet in reserv.ir *** presented results may indicate the artificial formation of the sterlet stock in the Kama Reserv.ir maintained by hatchery *** rev.aled distribution of the sterlet in the reserv.ir determines the direction of further research on natural reproduction and thus formation of an artificially formed ***,future studies are required to assess the possibility of hybridization of the sterlet of artificial origin with natural populations of the species,since the low genetic div.rsity of the sterlet released into the Kama Reserv.ir which can lead to irrev.rsible loss of genetic indiv.duality of the natural stocks of the species in the catchment of upper course of the Kama Riv.r.

With increasing life expectancy， neurodegenerativ. diseases hav. become one of the leading causes of ill-health in the elderly. Prev.ntiv. strategies include following healthy diets， such as the Mediterranean diet， which is particularly rich in polyphenols， bioactiv. compounds with neuroprotectiv. properties. The aim of this study was to assess the association of microbial phenolic metabolites (MPM) with cognition. This cross-sectional analysis was performed with 200 participants of the PREDIMED trial (Barcelona-Clinic recruitment center). A nov.l method based on liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry was used to identify urinary MPM (protocatechuic acid， enterodiol glucuronide， enterolactone glucuronide， urolithin B glucuronide， and v.nillic acid glucuronide)， and cognitiv. function was ev.luated with neuropsychological tests. Multiv.riable-adjusted ordinary least squares regression was used to assess the associations between cognitiv. function and MPM， and a score was calculated as the weighted sum of MPM. A higher MPM score was associated with better frontal lobe function. Among indiv.dual metabolites， v.nillic acid glucuronide was correlated with frontal cognitiv. performance. Participants with higher concentrations of v.nillic acid glucuronide and urolithin B glucuronide obtained better scores in the Color Trail Test part 2. A higher score for urinary multi-MPM was associated with better frontal cognitiv. performance in an older Mediterranean population.

Using the Global Network of Isotopes in Precipitation(GNIP)method at three stations in the Cis-Ural region(Iskor,Perm,and Kungur),the monitoring results of the isotope composition of atmospheric precipitation conducted in 2016-2019 are *** lines of meteoric waters were obtained for each station and for the Cis-Ural region as a *** latitudinal zoning of changes in isotope parameters from north to south in the Cis-Ural region is noted,which is related to meteorological *** northern regions are characterized by isotopically light v.lues compared to the southern ***,the correlation relationship between the isotopic compositions of atmospheric precipitation and meteorological parameters at each station is *** analysis data show that about 50%-90%of v.riations in the isotopic composition of precipitation within the annual cycle are determined by the air *** the same time,the amount of precipitation shows a relationship between the av.rage strength and the isotopic composition of precipitation for a series of observ.tions at Kungur Station;for a series of observ.tions at Iskor and Perm stations,there is no *** in the relationship with meteorological data are explained by different sources of moisture introduction to the station and,accordingly,the formation of the isotopic composition of *** flow of moisture is controlled by the transfer of air masses in different directions,the formation of cyclones and ***,for the northern part of the region during the year is characterized by the predominance of cyclones,whereas for the southern-anticyclones.

In agriculture,LED light sources hav. increasingly replaced the standard luminescent lamps and hav. acquired an important role in plant *** studied the effect of different light sources such as narrow-band LEDs(bright blue,blue,green,yellow,deep red,and red)and wide-band LEDs(cold white,white,warm white,full spectrum,and an artificial solar spectrum sun box constructed by us)on dev.lopment of potato plantlets in *** luminescent lamps were used as a *** light intensity of 49μmol·m^(-2)·s^(-1)was prov.ded in all light *** showed that the long-wav. narrow-band light treatments were inapplicable for potato micropropagation,because plantlets were weak with small leav.s,inhibited roots,and significantly elongated *** lights prov.ded growth of shortened plantlets with large leav.s,well-growing roots,and abundant green *** chlorophyll content was lower under blue and bright blue light and was at the same lev.l in the remained *** differences in the stomatal apparatus dev.lopment were observ.d depending on the light *** differences were not always reflected in the plantlet phenotype:e.g.,plantlets under blue and bright blue lights showed no differences in any characteristics except stomatal density and size of stomatal guard *** found no significant effect of blue light portion in the white lights and full spectrum on plantlet *** artificial solar spectrum sun box was the most suitable for potato micropropagation,because it supported the dev.lopment of plantlets with good fitness,uniform internodes length,abundant roots and green mass accumulation.

This work highlights the benefits of env.ronmental crazing for the control ov.r the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of glassy amorphous and semicrystalline polymers:poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET)and biodegradable polycaprolactone(PCL).Task-oriented encapsulation of div.rse commercial and natural hydrophilic(polyethyleneoxide,polyv.nylpyrrolidone,gelatin)and hydrophobic guest additiv.s(perfluoroorgano siloxanes,water-repellent impregnation)into mesoporous host polymer(PET,PCL)matrixes allows targeted control ov.r the wettability of the resultant nanocomposite *** on the nature of the guest additiv.,the properties of the modified polymers can be v.ried from hydrophilic to hydrophobic:contact angle(CA)of PET can be adjusted from 47_(⊥)/38_(||)to 130_(⊥)/117_(||)°(for initial PET,CA=82°)and CA of PCL from 40°to 114°(for initial PCL CA=75°).The unique benefits of env.ronmental crazing for structural modification are related to the univ.rsal character of this approach which can be applied to a broad range of polymers and allows preparation of div.rse high-performance materials with tunable hydrophilic-lipophilic balance.
