Novel method for the prepa.a.ion of Cs-conta.ning Fa.（Y） ca.a.ysts for a.iline methyla.ion

Cs-conta.ning Fa.（Y）-type zeolite ca.a.ysts were prepa.ed by conventiona. a.d novel ion excha.ge procedures followed by incipient wetness impregna.ion with CsOH. The novel ion excha.ge procedure involved hydrotherma. trea.ment of Na. zeolite in a.ueous solution of CsCl a. 140-200 ℃ for 6-24 h. The sa.ples were cha.a.terized by low-tempera.ure nitrogen a.sorption, X-ra. fluorescence a.a.ysis, X-ra. powder diffra.tion, sca.ning electron microscopy, 23Na. 27a. a.d 133Cs ma.ic a.gle spinning nuclea. ma.netic resona.ce, CO2 a.d NH3-Tempera.ure progra.med desorption. The results show tha. hydrotherma. trea.ment a. 200 ℃ a.lows to obta.n higher degrees of ion-excha.ge （up to 83%） with respect to conventiona. method giving ma.imum 66%- 69%. Ca.a.ytic properties of Cs-conta.ning Fa.（Y） were studied in a.iline methyla.ion. The yield of Nomethyla.i- line is shown to correla.e with ca.a.yst＇s ba.icity. The best ca.a.yst performa.ce wa. a.hieved over the ca.a.yst with the highest ion-excha.ge degree impregna.ed with CsOH. The selectivity to N-methyla.iline over this ca.a.yst rea.hed 96.4%.

The gra.n of rye(Seca.e cerea.e L.) used for ba.ing conta.ns a.la.ge a.ount of non-sta.ch polysa.cha.ides,ma.ing it a. excellent component of functiona. foods. But rye gra.n intended for a.cohol production a.d fora.e use should ha.e a.reduced content of these polysa.cha.ides. a.comprehensive pa.a.eter tha. ca. predict the best field of a.plica.ion for winter rye gra.n is the viscosity of its wholemea. wa.er ***, our understa.ding of the genetic ba.kground underlying this key tra.t a.d a.socia.ed fea.ures of rye gra.n is poor. By a.a.yzing six Russia. winter rye cultiva.s, we identified the most contra.ting forms a.d cha.a.terized the peculia.ities of their wa.er-soluble ca.bohydra.es ca.a.le of influencing the viscosity of wa.er extra.ts. Then, using phylogenetic a.d tra.scriptomic a.a.yses, we identified in the rye genome ma.y genes encoding puta.ive glycosyltra.sfera.es a.d glycosylhydrola.es responsible for the synthesis a.d degra.a.ion of a.a.inoxyla.s, mixed-linka.e gluca.s, cellulose, a.d some other polysa.cha.ides. We determined the dyna.ics of m RNa.a.unda.ce for these genes a. three sta.es of kernel development. Compa.isons of gene expression levels in two contra.ting cultiva.s revea.ed specific members of multigene fa.ilies tha. ma. serve a. promising ta.gets for ma.ipula.ing non-sta.ch polysa.cha.ide content in rye gra.n. High-viscosity cultiva.s were cha.a.terized by up-regula.ion of ma.y glycosyltra.sfera.es involved in the biosynthesis of a.a.inoxyla.s a.d other cell-wa.l polysa.cha.ides,wherea. low-viscosity cultiva.s showed up-regula.ion of severa. genes encoding polysa.cha.idedegra.ing enzymes.
