Matrix method is being proposed for qualitative evaluation of the reliability of technical systems on a finite set of structural elements. We are introducing the criteria for qualitative assessment of the reliability in the form of structural reliability of the system as the probability of the troubleproof state of this system and the significancy of the individual elements in ensuring the structural reliability of the system as a general aggregate of conditional probabilities, which compose two (2 × 2) matrices of significancy for each element. We are using chain diagrams for solving the combinatronic problems and matrices for algorithmization of calculating procedures.

Nonnegative tensor decomposition allows us to analyze data in their ＇native＇ form and to present results in the form of the sum of rank-1 tensors that does not nullify any parts of the factors. In this paper, we propose the geometrical structure of a basis vector frame for sum-of-rank-1 type decomposition of real-valued nonnegative tensors. The decomposition we propose reinterprets the orthogonality property of the singularvectors of matrices as a geometric constraint on the rank-1 matrix bases which leads to a geometrically constrained singularvector frame. Relaxing the orthogonality requirement, we developed a set of structured-bases that can be utilized to decompose any tensor into a similar constrained sum-of-rank-1 decomposition. The proposed approach is essentially a reparametrization and gives us an upper bound of the rank for tensors. At first, we describe the general case of tensor decomposition and then extend it to its nonnegative form. At the end of this paper, we show numerical results which conform to the proposed tensor model and utilize it for nonnegative data decomposition.

The East African Rift system （EARS） provides a unique system with the juxtaposition of two contrasting yet simultaneously formed rift branches, the eastern, magma-rich, and the western, magma-poor, on either sides of the old thick Tanzanian craton embedded in a younger lithosphere. Data on the pre-rifr, syn-rift and post-rift far-field volcanic and tectonic activity show that the EARS formed in the context of the interaction between a deep mantle plume and a horizontally and vertically heterogeneous lithosphere under far-field tectonic extension. We bring quantitative insights into this evolution by implementing high-resolution 3D thermo-mechanical numerical deformation models of a lithosphere of realistic rheology. The models focus on the central part of the EARS. We explore scenarios of plumelithosphere interaction with plumes of various size and initial position rising beneath a tectonically pre-stretched lithosphere. We test the impact of the inherited rheological discontinuities （suture zones） along the craton borders, of the rheological structure, of lithosphere plate thickness variations, and of physical and mechanical contrasts between the craton and the embedding lithosphere. Our experiments indicate that the ascending plume material is deflected by the cratonic keel and preferentially channeled along one of its sides, leading to the formation of a large rift zone along the eastern side of the craton, with significant magmatic activity and substantial melt amount derived from the mantle plume material. We show that the observed asymmetry of the central EARS, with coeval amagmatic （western） and magmatic （eastern） branches, can be explained by the splitting of warm material rising from a broad plume head whose initial position is slightly shifted to the eastern side of the craton. In that case, neither a mechanical weakness of the contact between the craton and the embedding lithosphere nor the presence of second plume are required to produce simulations that

Since wolframite is usually associated with calcite,the separation and enrichment of wolframite by froth flotation remains a great ***,a novel trisiloxane surfactant N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-ami nopropyltrisiloxane(AATS)was successful synthesized,which was used for the separation of wolframite from calcite for the first *** flotation separation performance of AATS was studied by flotation test,and its adsorption mechanism was explored based on contact angle,infrared spectrum analysis(FTIR),zeta potential and density functional theory(DFT)*** results of microflotation test and binary mixed ore flotation test pointed that AATS had excellent selectivity and more prominent collection capacity for the flotation of wolframite when compared with industrial reagent sodium oleate(NaOL).The measurement results of contact angle proved that AATS improved the hydrophobicity of the wolframite *** highly selective adsorption mechanism of AATS surfactant on mineral surfaces were further researched and analyzed by FTIR and zeta *** results revealed that AATS surfactant had significant adsorption effect on wolframite,yet almost no adsorption on *** calculation indicated that AATS produced electrostatic adsorption with wolframite surface through—N+H3 group.

The catalytic efficiency of modified nanodiamonds (MND) in reactions of interaction between organic compounds was demonstrated on the example of azocoupling reaction (hydrogen peroxide-4-aminoantipyrine-phenol). It was found that catalytic action of MND was caused by redox active metal ions of Fe and Cu located on the MND surface. The neutralization of the ions significantly decreased catalytic properties of MND.
