Rydberg excitons(analogues of Rydberg atoms in condensed matter systems)are highly excited bound electron-hole states with large Bohr *** interaction between them as well as exciton coupling to light may lead to strong optical nonlinearity,with applications in sensing and quantum information ***,we achieve strong effective photon–photon interactions(Kerr-like optical nonlinearity)via the Rydberg blockade phenomenon and the hybridisation of excitons and photons forming polaritons in a Cu2O-filled *** pulsed resonant excitation polariton resonance frequencies are renormalised due to the reduction of the photon-exciton coupling with increasing exciton *** analysis shows that the Rydberg blockade plays a major role in the experimentally observed scaling of the polariton nonlinearity coefficient as∝n4.4±1.8 for principal quantum numbers up to n=*** high principal quantum numbers studied in a polariton system for the first time are essential for realisation of high Rydberg optical nonlinearities,which paves the way towards quantum optical applications and fundamental studies of strongly correlated photonic(polaritonic)states in a solid state system.

This article proposes an approach to the formalization of tasks and conditions for the hardware implementation of quasi-continuous observation devices with discrete receivers in remote sensing *** devices with a matrix are used in medicine,ecology,aerospace photography,and geodesy,among other *** the discrete receivers,the sampling of an image in the matrix receiver into pixels leads to a decrease in the spatial information of the *** a greater extent,these disadvantages can be avoided by using photosensitive matrix with a regularly changing(controlled)density of elementary receivers-matrix(RCDOER-matrix).Currently,there is no substantiation of the tasks and conditions for the hardware implementation of *** algorithmic formation of a quasi-continuous image of observation devices with the RCDOER-matrix is *** algorithm used a formal pixel-by-pixel description of the signals in the *** algorithm formalizes the requirements for creating a photosensitive RCDOER-matrix of a certain size,as well as for changing the mechanism for forming and saving a frame with observation *** application of the developed method will allow multiplying the pixel size of the image relative to the pixel size of the *** algorithms for RCDOER-matrix are supplemented by formalizing the tasks that arise when creating *** addition,the conditions for hardware implementation are proposed,which ensure the completeness of registration of the observation picture,and allow avoiding excessive pixel ***,the results of the research carried out approximate the practical application of RCDOER-matrix.

One of the crucial aspects of reducing air consumption when conveying particles with an airlift pump is to know the factors that affect the process of particle motion at an initial velocity of *** determine the influence of submer-gence ratio and physical properties of particles(such as size,shape,and mass)on the onset of vertical particle motion,the airlift pump was taken as the research object,and spherical glass together with irregular shaped coal were used as experimental test *** results show that unlike the water-solid environment,the start of particle motion in the water-air mixture does not always occur at a certain value of superficial water velocity and this value also increases with increasing submergence *** the parameters considered,the role of submergence ratio is much more effective than the dimensions and the shape of the particle,because by increasing submergence from 0.3 to 0.8,it is possible to reduce air consumption by up to 8 *** on this study the corresponding theoretical model derived by Fujimoto et *** optimized,wherein the overall agreement between the modified theory and present experimental data is particularly *** to Fujimoto,the minimum superficial water velocity for lifting solids in the air-water mixture is not always smaller than water ambient which indicates on optimum submergence ratio higher than ***,a new criterion was introduced to describe the moment of onset of the particle motion as a function of the superficial fluid velocity ratio for each submergence value.

MoS_(2) is a highly promising material for application in lithium-ion battery anodes due to its high theoretical capacity and low ***,problems with a fast capacity decay over cycling,especially at the first cycles,and poor rate performance have deterred its practical ***,electrodes comprised solely of few-layers 2D MoS_(2) nanosheets have been manufactured by scalable liquid-phase exfoliation and spray deposition *** long-standing controversy questioning the reversibility of conversion processes of MoS_(2)-based electrodes was *** studies revealed that,in 2D MoS_(2) electrodes,conversion processes are indeed reversible,where nanostructure played a key *** of the electrodes at high current rates revealed an intriguing phenomenon consisting of a continuously increasing capacity after ca.100-200 *** phenomenon was comprehensively addressed by a variety of electrochemical and microscopy methods that revealed underlying physical activation mechanisms that involved a range of profound electrode structural *** mechanisms delivered a capacitive electrode of a superior rate performance and cycling stability,as compared to the corresponding pristine electrodes,and to MoS_(2) electrodes previously ***,we have devised a methodology to overcome the problem of cycling stability of 2D MoS_(2) ***,activation of electrodes constitutes a methodology that could be applied to enhance the energy storage performance of electrodes based on other 2D nanomaterials,or combinations thereof,strategically combining chemistries to engineer electrodes of superior energy storage properties.

The survivability of computer systems should be guaranteed in order to improve its operation efficiency,especially for the efficiency of its critical *** paper proposes a decentralized mechanism based on Software-Defined Architecture(SDA).The concepts of critical functions and critical states are defined,and then,the critical functional parameters of the target system are collected and *** based on the analysis results are performed for reconfiguring the implementations of the whole system.A formal model is presented for analyzing and improving the survivability of the system,and the problem investigated in this paper is reduced to an optimization problem for increasing the system survival time.

La1−x Sr x MnO3 nanoparticles were synthesized by precipitation from diethylene glycol solution. Features of synthesis were studied using 1Н, 13С, 139La nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) investigations. The obtained results showed that the complexation reaction between diethylene glycol and metal cations takes place during the synthesis. These complexes decomposed at 200 °C and an amorphous precursor (La,Sr)MnO3 was formed. According to X-ray results, the crystallization of the perovskite structure began at 600 °C and finished at 800 °C. Microstructural studies showed that obtained nanoparticles are weakly agglomerated and have small sizes. Based on these nanoparticles, magnetic fluid was prepared which was effectively heated under an alternating magnetic field.
