This paper deals with mathematical modelling of impulse wav.forms and impulse switching functions used in electrical engineering. Impulse switching functions are later inv.stigated using direct and inv.rse z-transformation. The results make possible to present those functions as infinite series expressed in pure numerical, exponential or trigonometric forms. The main adv.ntage of used approach is the possibility to calculate inv.stigated v.riables directly in any instant of time;dynamic state can be solv.d with the step of sequences (T/6, T/12) that means v.ry fast. Theoretically deriv.d wav.forms are compared with simulation worked-out results as well as results of circuit emulator LT spice which are giv.n in the paper.

Autosomal reciprocal translocations represent exchanges of chromatin fragments between non-homologous *** are facilitated by the creation of quadriv.lent structures during the first meiotic div.sion,which are characterized by the length of the translocated and centric segments,asymmetry,and the presence of terminal breakpoints,all of which may impact segregation ***,we report a rare case of multiple reciprocal translocations within a single *** includes the ev.luation of the translocations in each of the spouses and an analysis of their chromosome segregation patterns as determined by the constellation of univ.rsal characteristics in each of their *** obtained results will be of interest to fundamental biology,as they will expand the understanding of the factors affecting chromosome segregation during meiosis.

Distribution area and taxonomic borders within the species complex Spermophilus erythrogenys sensu lato remain *** ev.dence suggests that red-cheeked ground squirrels of Southeast Kazakhstan are remarkably different in terms of the acoustic structure of their alarm calls from the red-cheeked ground squirrels of the Kurgan region in *** this study,we analyzed the differences in the acoustic structure of the alarm call and mitochondrial DNA(complete control region,1005-1006 bp and complete cytochrome b gene,1140 bp)in 3 populations of red-cheeked ground squirrels(Tara,Altyn-Emel and Balkhash),all located within areas isolated by geographical barriers in Southeast *** found that the alarm call v.riables were similar between the 3 study populations and differed by the maximum fundamental frequency(8.46±0.75 kHz)from the v.lues(5.62±0.06 kHz)reported for the red-cheeked ground squirrels from the Kurgan region of Rus*** in mtDNA control region was only 3%and v.riation in cytochrome b gene was only 2.5%.Phylogenetic trees based on cytochrome b gene polymorphism of 44 indiv.duals from the study area and adjacent territories indicated 3 clades with high(98-100%)bootstrap support:“intermedius,”“brev.cauda”and“iliensis”).We conclude that the 3 study populations in Southeast Kazakhstan belong to the clade intermedius and suggest a taxonomical rev.sion of the species complex Spermophilus erythrogenys sensu lato,including analyses of nuclear DNA and alarm calls for populations of the brev.cauda and iliensis clades.

A number of large and unique oil and gas fields were discov.red ov.r the western Arctic shelf of Eurasia. Some of them were partially appraised. Also, there are three potentially hydrocarbon-rich but insufficiently studied areas in the region. The discov.ry of commercial accumulations there would substantially increase the petroleum potential of the entire region. These areas are northern Murmansk Oblast, on the Rybachy Peninsula, the Franz-Joseph Land area, and?the North Kara Shelf. It is suggested that oil and gas field discov.ries in the former two areas are most expedient under current conditions. The oil and gas potential of the northwestern Kola Peninsula is rev.ewed in more detail.

The effect of Earth precession angle on a climate is presented here. It is shown that the glaciation epochs occurred only when the precession angle was low. After the continental glaciation formed in the Northern hemisphere, Earth’s spherecal symmetry was disrupted and its precession angle increased drastically. As a result, a drastic and rapid climate warm-up occurred, the glaciers melted down and an interglacial stadial1 began. Subsequently, affected by the Lunar-Solar grav.ty pull on the Earth’s equatorial swelling, the precession angle gradually decreased and a new cooling-down phase occurred. As a result, there was nonlinear oscillation of Earth’s climate with periods on the order of 100 - 120 MY.

The time ev.lution of the magnetic field aligned super-small-scale irregularities in the concentration of charged particles, existing in the near-Earth rarefied plasma, is studied with the help of the model simulation. A new v.rsion of the two-dimensional mathematical model, dev.loped earlier in the Polar Geophysical Institute, is utilized to inv.stigate the temporal history of the irregularity with circular cross section, created initially in the near-Earth plasma. The utilized model is based on a numerical solution of the v.asov.Poisson system of equations, with the v.asov.equations describing the distribution functions of charged particles and the Poisson equation gov.rning the self-consistent electric field. The results of simulation indicate that the mobility of the positiv. ions ought to influence essentially on the time ev.lution of the super-small-scale irregularities in the concentration of charged particles, existing in the near-Earth rarefied plasma.

The influence of the energy of femtosecond laser pulses on the intensity of Fe I （371.99 nm） emission line and the continuous spectrum of the plasma generated on the surface of Fe^3＋ water solution by a Ti： sapphire laser radiation with pulse duration 〈45 fs and energies up to 7 mJ is determined. A calibration curv. was obtained for Fe3＋ concentration range from 0.5 g/L to the limit of detection in water solution, and its saturation was detected for concentrations abov. 0.25 g/L, which is ascribed to self-absorption. The 3σ- limit of detection obtained for Fe in water solution is 2.6 mg/L in the case of 7 mJ laser pulse energy. It is found that an increase of laser pulse energy insignificantly affects on LOD in the time-resolv.d LIBS and leads to a slight improv.ment of the limit of detection.
