Reactive SPS of Al_(2)o_(3)–RE:YAG(RE=Ce;Ce+Gd)composite ceramic phosphors

Ultrafine-grained Al_(2)o_(3)–rare earth:yttrium aluminium garnet(Al_(2)o_(3)–RE:YAG)(RE=Ce;Ce+Gd)composite ceramics were obtained for the first time by reactive spark plasma sintering(SPS)using commercially available initial oxide *** effect of key sintering parameters(temperature,dwell time,and external pressure(P_(load)))on densification peculiarities,structural-phase states,and luminescent properties of composites was studied *** in phase formation and densification between Ce-doped and Ce,Gd-codoped systems were *** of reactive SPS,at which there is partial melting with the formation of near-eutectic zones of the Al_(2)o_(3)–YAG system/coexistence of several variations of the YAG-type phase,were *** corundum–garnet biphasic ceramics with an optimal balance between microstructural and luminescence performance were synthesized at 1425℃/30 min/30–60 *** external quantum efficiency(EQE)of the phosphor converters reached 80.7%and 72%with close lifetime of~63.8 ns,similar to those of commercial Ce:YAG materials,which is promising for further applications in the field of high-power white light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)and laser diodes(LDs).

To create autonomous robots,both hardware and software are *** enormous progress has already been made in the field of equipment,then robot software depends on the development of artificial *** article proposes a solution for creating“logical”brains for autonomous robots,namely,an approach for creating an intelligent robot action planner based on Mivar expert *** application of this approach provides opportunities to reduce the computational complexity of solving planning problems and the requirements for the computational characteristics of hardware platforms on which intelligent planning systems are *** theoretically and practically justify the expediency of using logically solving systems,in particular Mivar expert systems,to create intelligent planners,the MIPRA(Mivar-based Intelligent Planning of Robot Actions)planner was created to solve problems such as STRIPS for permutation cubes in the Blocks World *** planner is based on the platform for creating expert systems of the *** a result,the Mivar planner can process information about the state of the subject area based on the analysis of cause-effect relationships and an algorithm for automatically constructing logical inference(finding a solution from“Given”to“Find”).Moreover,an important feature of the MIPRA is that the system is built on the principles of a“white box”,due to which the system can explain any of its decisions and provide justification for the actions performed in the form of a retrospective of the stages of the decision-making *** preparing a set of robot actions aimed at changing control objects,expert knowledge is used,which is the basis for the functioning algorithms of the *** approach makes it possible to include an expert in the process of organizing the work of the intelligent planner and use existing knowledge about the subject *** experiments of this study have shown that instead of many hours and powerfu

Enhanced electric-field induced strain in Eu^(3+) doped 0.67BiFeo_(3)-0.33BaTio_(3) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics

Lead-free ferroelectric ceramics,0.67Bi_(1-x)Eu_(x)Feo_(3)-0.33BaTio_(3)(BF-BT-xEu,x=0-0.02),were prepared via a solid-state reaction,The effect of Eu^(3+) doping on the microstructure,dielectric properties,ferroelectric properties,and electric-field-induced strain was *** X-ray diffraction(XRD) results indicate the presence of a mixed phase of tetragonal and rhombohedral at the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB).Doping with an appropriate amount of Eu^(3+) reduces the Fe^(3+) content and decreases the leakage current in the binary system.A converse piezoelectric coefficient(d_(33)*) of 392 pm/V is obtained at BF-BT-0.003Eu under an electric field of 60 kV/cm at room temperature,which has a Curie temperature(T_(C)) of 414℃,The unipolar strain and d_(33)* of BF-BT-0.003Eu ceramics increase to 0.438%and 730 pm/V at 125℃ The field-induced strain response of the BF-BT-0.003Eu ceramics is greater than that of 0.67BF-0.33BT,mainly due to its optimal grain size,reduction of leakage current,and coexistence of ferroelectric-relaxation phases,BF-BT-0.003Eu ceramic is a lead-free candidate for high-temperature actuator applications.

Influenced by rapid changes in climate and landscape features since the Miocene,widely distributed species provide suitable models to study the environmental impact on their evolution and current genetic *** dice snake Natrix tessellata,widely distributed in the Western Palearctic is one such *** aimed to resolve a detailed phylogeography of *** with a focus on the Central Asian clade with 4 and the Anatolia clade with 3 mitochondrial lineages,trace their origin,and correlate the environmental changes that affected their distribution through *** expected time of divergence of both clades began at 3.7 Mya in the Pliocene,reaching lineage differentiation approximately 1 million years *** genetic diversity in both clades is rich,suggesting different ancestral areas,glacial refugia,demographic changes,and colonization *** Caspian lineage is the most widespread lineage in Central Asia,distributed around the Caspian Sea and reaching the foothills of the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan,and Eastern European lowlands in the *** distribution is limited by deserts,moun-tains,and cold steppe ***,Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan lineages followed the Amu Darya and the Syr Darya water systems in Central Asia,with ranges delimited by the large Kyzylkum and Karakum *** the western side,there are several lineages within the Anatolia clade that converged in the central part of the peninsula with 2 being endemic to Western *** distribution of both main clades was affected by expansion from their Pleistocene glacial refugia around the Caspian Sea and in the valleys of Central Asia as well as by environmental changes,mostly through aridification.

A Simple Mechanism for Generating a Geomagnetic Field

on the basis of the ideal gas model, the polarization of charges in the mantle was obtained, a physical and mathematical model was constructed, and estimated calculations of the dipole mode of the Earth’s magnetic field were performed, taking into account the speed of its angular rotation, the parameters of density and temperature, the chemical composition, the ionization potential, the dielectric constant and the percentage of the main chemical compounds of the mantle substance.

Stability analysis of a time-delayed Van der Pol–Helmholtz–Duffing oscillator in fractal space with a non-perturbative approach
