Radionuclides and mercury in the salt lakes of the Crimea

90 Sr concentrations,resulting from the Chernobyl NPP accident,were determined in the salt lakes of the Crimea(lakes Kiyatskoe,Kirleutskoe,Kizil-Yar,Bakalskoe and Donuzlav),together with the redistribution between the components of the *** content of mercury in the waters of the studied reservoirs was also *** distributions of natural radionuclide activities( 238 U,232 Th,226 Ra,210 Pb,40 K) and anthropogenic 137 Cs concentrations(as radiotracers) were determined in the bottom sediments of the Koyashskoe salt lake(located in the south-eastern Crimea) to evaluate the longterm dynamics and biogeochemical *** and chemical analysis was undertaken and radiotracer and statistical methods were applied to the analytical *** highest concentrations of 90 Sr in the water of lake Kiyatskoe(350.5 and 98.0 Bq/m 3) and lake Kirleutskoe(121.3 Bq/m 3) were due to the discharge of the Dnieper water from the North-Crimean *** high content of mercury in lake Kiyatskoe(363.2 ng/l) and in seawater near lake Kizil-Yar(364 ng/l) exceeded the maximum permissible concentration(3.5 times the maximum).Natural radionuclides provide the main contribution to the total radioactivity(artificial and natural combined) in the bottom sediments of lake *** significant concentration of 210 Pb in the upper layer of bottom sediments of the lake indicates an active inflow of its parent radionuclide—gaseous 222 Rn from the lower layers of the bottom *** average sedimentation rates in lake Koyashskoe,determined using 210 Pb and 137 Cs data,were 0.117 and 0.109 cm per year,respectively.

This study investigated the action of proteolytic enzymes in the production of goat viscera hydrolysates,and their flavoring *** study focus the production of flavor precursor molecules and the formation of volatile compounds resulting from four hydrolysis treatments:HA-Alcalase®,HF-Flavourzyme®,HN-Neutrase®,and HFN-Flavourzyme® and Neutrase®.The highest degree of hydrolysis (26.74%),number (23 volatiles) and concentration of volatile compounds (274.0 μg/l) were obtained with the action of *** main classes of volatile compounds identified in hydrolysates included acids,aldehydes,pyrazines,terpenes and Streacker *** acids,sugars and fatty acids were identified with higher concentrations in HF and HFN hydrolysates due to the low participation of these precursors in the formation of volatile ***,the use of Alcalase in the proteolysis of goat viscera stood out compared to other enzymes,providing impacting aroma compounds,such as pyrazines,for meat flavor.

CO2-rich cold springs occur near the active volcanoes at Wudalianchi （五大连池）, Northeast China. The springs are rich in CO2, with HCO3-as the predominant anion and have elevated contents of total dissolved solid （TDS）（〉1 000 mg/l）, Fe^2＋（〉20 mg/l）, Sr （〉1 mg/l）, and dissolved Si （〉20 mg/l）. The compositions of escaped and dissolved gases of the springs are similar. The δ^13C values of escaped gases and dissolved gases in mineral springs at Wudalianchi vary from -8.77‰ to -4.53‰ and -8.24‰ to -5.26‰, while δ^18O values vary from -10.68‰ to -7.65‰ and -10.30‰ to -8.84‰, respectively, indicating the same upper mantle origin of CO2 of escaped gases and dissolved gases in the springs. Carbon and oxygen isotope fractionations and water-CO2 exchange were weak in the process of groundwater flow. The 4He content exceeds 5 000×10-6 cm^3·STP/ml in escaped gases of the mineral springs, and the 3He/4He ratios of the escaped and dissolved gases vary from 2.64Ra to 3.87Ra and 1.18Ra to 3.30Ra, respectively. It can be postulated that the CO2 of mineral springs deriving from the magma chamber of the upper mantle moves upward to the surface, to increase the content of 4He in the mineral springs and decrease the ratio of 3He/4He. The helium origin of escaped gases in springs can be calculated with the MORB-crust mixing model, but that in the north spring can be better explained with the MORB-crust-air mixing model due to the effect of mixing with surface water. However, dissolved helium in springs, except the north spring, is better explained with the MORB-crust-ASW mixing model.

Studied waters belong to warm （T=30-50℃）, alkaline （pH=8.9-9.3）, low mineralized （TDS〈235 mg/l） Na-HCO3 or Na-SO4-HCO3 thermal waters with high content of SiO2 （up to 81 mg/1） and F （up to 3.9 mg/l）, occur on modern volcano-tectonic rejuvenated areas of Eastern Sikhote-Alin orogenic belt. low 3He concentration as well as N2/O2 and N2/Ar ratios exclude influence of deep mantle fluid. New rare earth element data constrain our understanding of water-rock interaction occurring in the water source region. Meteoric origin of waters is proved by stable isotope values varying from -71%o to -136.1‰ and from -10.8‰ to -18.8%o for δ^2H and δ^18O respectively. REE patterns reflect high pH, resultfing from water-rock interaction and oxidative conditions. Calculations of deep aquifer temperature using Na-K and quartz geothermometers show 116.8-131.1℃ and 82.2-125.8℃ respectively. Presence of deep faults both with abnormal thermal gradient （-45- 50 K/km） define unique geochemical shape of thermal waters of Sikhote-Alin, area, where no present volcanic activity is registered.

An efficient approach has been developed for the synthesis of 5,5＇-diaryl-2,2＇-bipyridines via their 1,2,4-triazine *** notable advantages of the present method are：The possibility of varying the aromatic substituents in the positions 5 and 5＇ of bipyridine core and the possibility for obtaining 2,2＇-bipyridines bearing a fused cyclopentene core to increase the solubility in organic *** 5,5＇-diaryl-2,2＇-bipyridines exhibited an intense emission in a range of ca.422-521 nm in acetonitrile solution;depending on the nature of the aromatic substituents and the presence of annulated cyclopentene *** from that,the significant bathochromic shifts of the both absorption and emission maxima were observed in comparison with a number of previously described similar *** some cases the significant increasing of the fluorescence quantum yields took place.

A magnetic bimeron is an in-plane topological counterpart of a magnetic *** the topological equivalence,their statics and dynamics could be distinct,making them attractive from the perspectives of both physics and spintronic *** this work,we demonstrate the stabilization of bimeron solitons and clusters in the antiferromagnetic(AFM)thin film with interfacial Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction(DMI).Bimerons demonstrate high current-driven mobility as generic AFM solitons,while featuring anisotropic and relativistic dynamics excited by currents with in-plane and out-ofplane polarizations,***,these spin textures can absorb other bimeron solitons or clusters along the translational direction to acquire a wide range of Néel topological *** clustering involves the rearrangement of topological structures,and gives rise to remarkable changes in static and dynamical *** merits of AFM bimeron clusters reveal a potential path to unify multibit data creation,transmission,storage,and even topology-based computation within the same material system,and may stimulate spintronic devices enabling innovative paradigms of data manipulations.
