Tailored syn.hesis of well-defin.d an.tase TiO_(2)-based crystals with exposed{001}facets has stimulated in.essan. research in.erest worldwide due to their scien.ific an. techn.logical ***,an.tase n.trogen.doped TiO_(2)(n.TiO_(2))n.n.particles with exposed{001}facets deposited on.the graphen.(GR)sheets(n.TiO_(2)-001/GR)were syn.hesized for the first time via a on.-step solvothermal syn.hetic route usin. n.4F as the morphology-con.rollin. *** experimen.al results exemplified that GR was un.formly covered with an.tase n.TiO_(2) n.n.particles(10-17 n.),exposin. the{001}*** percen.age of exposed{001}facets in.the n.TiO_(2)-001/GR n.n.composites was calculated to be ca.35%.Also,a red shift in.the absorption.edge an. a stron. absorption.in.the visible light ran.e were observed due to the formation.of Ti-O-C bon.s,resultin. in.the successful n.rrowin. of the ban. gap from 3.23 to 2.9 *** photocatalytic activities of the as-prepared photocatalysts were evaluated for CO_(2) reduction.to produce CH,in.the presen.e of water vapor un.er ambien. temperature an. atmospheric pressure usin. a low-power 15 W en.rgy-savin. daylight lamp as the visible light source--in.con.rast to the most common.y employed high-power xen.n.lamps--which ren.ered the process econ.mically an. practically *** all the studied photocatalysts,the n.TiO_(2)-001/GR n.n.composites exhibited the greatest CH4 yield of 3.70 p-mol'gcatalyst 1,approxi-mately 11-fold higher activity than.the TiO_(2)-*** en.an.emen. of photocatalyfic performan.e was ascribed to the effective charge an.i-recombin.tion.of graphen.,high absorption.of visible light region.relative to the{101}*** high catalytic activity of{001}facets.

In.recen. years, there have been.con.ern. about the toxicity of bisphen.l A(BPA) in.food packagin. materials due to the poten.ial en.ocrin. disruptin. effects it may have on.human., especially children.an. in.an.s. In.this presen. in.estigation. a free-stan.in. n.ckel-copper pyridin.-2,6-dicarboxylic acid(PDA) metal organ.c framework(MOF) an.hored carbon.n.n.fiber paper(n.-Cu(PDA)MOF/Cn.) was syn.hesized for the sen.in. an. quan.ify the BPA an.lytes in.milk an. water. As-prepared bimetallic MOF hybrid materials are extremely porous, hydrophilic in.n.ture with a huge surface area. This allows for the easy pathway of an.lyte molecules, which react with the redox-active metal sites of MOF matrix an. en.an.e the sen.itivity. Durin. electrocatalysis reaction. various fun.tion.l groups presen. in.the MOF system can.also act as dyn.mic adsorption.sites. In.the n.utral medium(pH = 7.0), the n.-Cu(PDA)MOF/Cn. modified glassy carbon.electrode(n.-Cu(PDA)MOF/Cn./GCE) ascertain.d good catalytic activity an. stron. electrochemical sen.itivity toward BPA with higher sen.itivity value an. lower limit of detection.LOD) value. The irreversible an. diffusion.con.rolled oxidation.reaction. of BPA were observed. The bimetallic MOF modified electrode displayed an.exten.ive lin.ar ran.in. from 1 to 150 μmol/L with a LOD of 75 n.mol/L for BPA detection. The MOF an.hored electrode displayed exception.l an.i-in.erferen.e property, reproducibility an. good storage stability up to on. mon.h. It is n.table that the n.-Cu(PDA)MOF/Cn./GCE has proved the competen.e of detectin. BPA in.milk an. drin.in. water samples, which displayed satisfactory outcomes with chromatographic an.lysis.

Sin.e in.an. an. youn. child feedin. practices play an.importan. role in.amelioratin. childhood n.trition. an.exploratory an. descriptive study has thus been.con.ucted employin. a previously developed question.aire at Ad-din.shisu Hospital, Jashore, Ban.ladesh to obtain.better in.ights about the breastfeedin. an. complemen.ary feedin. practices amon. in.an. an. youn. child feedin. caregivers. Out of 260 babies, 54% were female an. 46% were male. n.arly all caregivers were foun. havin. the idea that breast milk is the best food for n.wborn.babies. Aroun. 81.9% of caregivers thin. that breast milk con.ain. all the n.trien.s the baby n.eds to flourish, but in.case of protection.from disease, on.y 18.1% of caregivers thin. that it protects the baby from certain.diseases. Aroun. 46.9% mothers practiced early in.tiation.of breastfeedin. an. they offered breast milk to their n.wborn.right away (within.on. hour) after delivery, 53.5% lactatin. mothers had proper kn.wledge about breastfeedin. methods, 39.6% mothers n.ver practiced burpin. after breastfeedin., 66.4% mothers had n.rmal delivery, 33.6% mothers had caesarian.section. 99% mothers offered colostrums to their babies an. on.y 1% of them didn.t give the colostrums. Human.toxoplasmosis is caused by the in.racellular protozoan.parasite Toxoplasma gon.ii. Although T. gon.ii in.ection.is gen.rally asymptomatic for most of the immun.competen. adults, severe complication. may occur particularly in.pregn.n. women.an. immun.compromised in.ividual. Host cell immun.ty plays a critical role in.parasite differen.iation.an. persisten.e in.the host. Therefore, gen.tic polymorphism in.the host immun. gen.s, for in.tan.e in.erferon.γ gen. could be lin.ed with possibility of T. gon.ii in.ection. The objective of the study was to verify the lin. between.the sin.le n.cleotide polymorphisms (Sn.s) in.the IFn.γ gen. of pregn.n. women.an. T. gon.ii in.ection.through correlatin. with an.hropometric an. sociodemographic parameters. In.this study, n.n.ty-two (n.= 92) pregn.n. women.(16 - 40 years) an. healthy con.rols (n.= 95) with similar age ran.es were in.luded. Amon. them, 25% (n.= 23) pregn.n. women.were seropositive for T. gon.ii IgG an.ibodies by Rapid Test Assay. Allelic an. gen.typic frequen.ies of IFn.γ +874T/A (rs2430561) Sn.s were evaluated by usin. ARMS-PCR. The distribution.of the A an. T alleles in.the specific position.of the IFn.γ gen. in.the T. gon.ii-in.ected pregn.n. women.an. the con.rol groups did n.t differ sign.fican.ly, accordin. to the data. However, we foun. a higher frequen.y (13.04%) of A/A gen.type in.T. gon.ii in.ected pregn.n. women.as compared to n.n.in.ected in.ividuals (8.70%), demon.tratin. that T. gon.ii in.ection.susceptibility may be in.reased by homozygosity for the A allele. Further studies are to be n.eded to fin. out the lin. between.host gen. polymorphism an. T. gon.ii in.ection.in.Ban.ladesh.
