Introduction: Pyridone derivatives played important roles in the last decade to approach many and different functionalities, especially as antitumor, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and many of pharmacological activities. Methodology: Novel compounds of 5-Arylazo-2-[(substituted)-3, 4, 5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl) tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxy]-4, 6-dimethylnicotinonitrile, (3a-e), generally called (fluroarylazopyridine glucosides) were synthesised via green protocol, microwave. Results: The compounds were investigated by (IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and mass spectrometry). Where some of pharmacological activities like antibacterial and antifungal studies had been investigated and characterized. It was found that 3a-d had characterized by high activities as antibacterial and antifungal. Where microwave synthetic methods were more efficient, gave higher products quantity, and more saving for time requirement and for using of much more solvents.

Athletes and others who begin exercise with a less than normal volume of they water are likely to experienceadverse effects on cardiovascular function, temperature reuglation, and exercise Perfonnance.. Increasing body water stores above nomal, well-hydlated levels by drinking fluids shortly before exercise isalso likely to cave caldiovascular function and temperature regulation When it is impossible to ingest sufficient fluids during exercise..Under most circumstances, it is wise to drink at least 500ml (16 oz) of fluid before sleeping on the nightbefore exercise and at least another 500 ml first thing in the morning to help ensure a state of ***, one should drink another 500-1000ml about 1 h before and an additional 250-500ml about 20 minexercise to "top off" fluid stores.. The type of fluid consumed before exercise is important. Fluids containing carbohydrate (to supply energy)and small axnounts of sodium chloride (to help maintain thirst and reduce urine formation ) are likely tohave more beneficial effects than Plain water. The addition of glycerol to a Pre-exercise hydration beverageusually is ineffective and can produce headaches and nausea.

Evaluation of Charcot Neuroarthropathy in Diabetic Foot Disease Patients at Tertiary Hospital

Purpose: To evaluate Charcot neuroarthropathy in diabetic foot patients at tertiary hospital. Methods and Material: It is a retrospective study from 2005 to 2015 of Charcot foot patients in diabetic patients admitted in King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Sixty-four patients were admitted as diabetic foot disease and were studied by reviewing patients records of demography, pain, discharge, duration of disease, duration and types of diabetes IDDM [Insulin Dependant Diabetes Mellitus] NIDDM [Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus], history of trauma, peripheral vascular disease, obesity, hypertension, co-morbid conditions, previous surgery, involvement of fore foot/midfoot/hindfoot, deformity, ulcer and treatment like casts, offloading devices, pharmacological like biphosphonates, debridement, osteotomy, arthrodesis, exostectomy, and amputation. Results: Majority of patients were males (81.2%). Mean age was 61.75 years. Pain was reported in 25% of patients, numbness in 12.5%, foot deformity in 23.4%, pus discharge in 73.4%, difficulty in walking in 12.5%, and 10.9% had history of trauma. Majority of patients were NIDDM 68.8%, IDDM 31.3%, (62.5% had DM more than 10 years and 36.9% had DM less than 10 years), controlled DM in 21.9% and uncontrolled DM in 73.4%, nephropathy in 46.3%, neuropathy in 59.4%, retinopathy in 40.6%, cardiomyopathy in 48.4% and vasculopathy in 56.3%. Charcot arthropathy was in 28.1% of cases and forefoot was involved in 65.5%, midfoot in 4.7% and hindfoot/ankle in 21.9%. It was forefoot which was mainly involved in Charcot joint disease. It was demonstrated by X-rays which showed subluxation in 40.6%, dislocation in 54.7%, disorganized foot joints in 42.2%, bone resorption in 23.4%, osteomyelitis in 14.1%, fractures in 50%, joint collapse in 39.1% and destruction of articular surfaces in 37.5%. [目的]本文对埃及产的百里香(Thymus vulgaris L.)和牛至(Origanum vulgare L.)的化学成分、抗氧化和抗菌活性进行了研究。[方法]本文采用GC-MS法和福林酚方法对样品中的化学成分和多酚物质进行了分析,同时使用DPPH试剂和抑菌圈实验评价样品的抗氧化和抗菌效果。[结果]埃及产百里香精油中主要含有百里香酚(45.19%)、p-伞花烃(13.59%)、香芹酚(7.65%)和松油烯(6.82%),牛至精油中主要有香芹酚(52.46%)、松油烯-4-醇(7.43%)、顺-β-萜品醇(5.64%)和松油烯(4.73%)。百里香和牛至的精油中的多酚含量分别为228.78 mg/g和129.43 mg/g,表现出显著的DPPH自由基清除能力,而残渣中的多酚含量相对较少(123.68 mg/g和138.26 mg/g),但抗氧化能力要更强。在抗菌能力方面,两种提取物均对Klebsiella pneumonia(35.8±0.89)mm和(37±0.47)mm的抑制能力最强,而百里香和牛至的精油则分别对Rhodotorula mucilaginosa(25.7±0.27)mm和Aspergillus flavus(16.5±0.24)mm。[结论]埃及产百里香和牛至均具有明显的抗氧化和抗菌活性。

This work investigates the effects of temperature and radiation intensity on the parameters of a copper indium diselenide (CIS) photovoltaic module. The module performance parameters are determined from calculated module parameters. An outdoor experimental setup is installed to carryout a series of I-V curve measurements under different irradiance and temperature conditions for the module. A numerical model which considers the effect of series and shunt resistances is developed to evaluate the different parameters of PV modules. Orthogonal distance regression (ODR) algorithm is adapted for fitting I-V measurements and extracting module parameters from I-V measurements. The values of module parameters, series resistance Rs, shunt resistance Rsh, diode ideality factor n and reverse saturation current Io determined from I-V measurements at different irradiation intensity and temperature range are in good agreement with the corresponding parameters obtained from the developed numerical model. The module parameters extracted from I-V measurements are employed to calculate the module performance parameters, i.e. open circuit voltage Voc, fill factor FF and module efficiency η at different irradiation intensity and temperature range. Present results indicate that the largest drop in open circuit voltage Voc due to about 20℃ increase in temperature is approximately 8.8% which is not compensated for by the relatively small increase in short circuit current, (2.9% in Isc), resulting in a reduction in maximum power of about 6.3%. Results let us conclude that the shunt resistance RSh increases with radiation at low radiation values (2). As radiation increases at high radiation values (> 400 W/m2), RSh begins to decease sharply and dramatically. Also, as the light intensity incident on the solar module increases, the series resistance and the output voltage decrease. The automated proficiencies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in vision 2030, influence a decade of continual expenditure in contemporary automation and unified government platforms. It affords a reliable base for the COVID-19 response’s significant facets, encompassing continued connection to many e-government systems. The worldwide COVID-19 epidemic has reinvigorated the role of e-government. The health crisis has altered SADAIA to lunch Tawakkalna m-government application to execute business continuity strategies, offer important services to people, and assure their fulfilment. The study intends to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on users’ satisfaction with m-government services and Health Care apps in the Al-Madinah region. It analyses the elements that enable people’s use of online government services, and m-government services are a solution to handle the crisis. The finding shows that trust in e-government, trust in the internet, ease of use and usefulness are the important factors in using the application during the pandemic.

Many cases of toxicity and mortality either due to accidental or deliberate ingestion of hair dyes were reported in Egypt, Sudan, Israel, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, India and Tunisia. In the field of forensic analytical toxicology, the identification and quantification of chemicals are essential in deaths related to intoxication. The aim of the present study is to conduct chemico-analytical characterization of para-phenylenediamine (PPD) based hair dye of (Black stone hair dye, SHD) currently used for dying hear in Egypt, to confirm the identification of its components, that may be potentially toxic on oral or dermal exposure, this study uses comparison between different analytical methods. The applied analytical methods were inductively coupled plasma/MS (ICP/MS), witch used to determine the metal components of the dye, high performance liquid chromatography/MS (HPLC/MS) and gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) were used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of PPD in the dye. A derivatization method was applied by transforming PPD (aromatic amines) into corresponding imine derivatives. This compound was prepared by condensation of 4-methylbenzeneamine with benzaldehyed to give N-benzylidene-4-methylbenzene-amine, which is a very stable internal standard. ICP/MS analysis revealed that most metal components of hair dye are Be, Na, Al, K, Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu, and Zr, where HPLC/MS analysis revealed that PPD is the main ingredient of SHD. Derivatization is necessary for accurate determination of PPD in hair dye by GC/MS method and this results could not be obtained by direct injection of dye (without derivatization).

The aim of this study was to review the changes in distribution of bacterial populations and their antibiotic sensitivity over 12 years in a tertiary care burn unit. Understanding the periodic variation of isolated microorganisms and their antibiotic sensitivity helps in selecting the appropriate antimicrobial therapy before culture and sensitivity are reported. It also aids the design of antibiotics protocols. The study was retrospective. The data were obtained from the computerised hospital medical record system and the burn unit records. Overall, Pseudomonas aeruginosa was the most commonly isolated microorganism followed by Staphylococcus aureus, Meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and the genus Acinetobacter. Acinetobacter isolation rose rapidly and became more prevalent than P. aeruginosa over the last three years. Other organisms became isolated more frequently, such as Klebsiella pneumoniae, but their overall prevalence was low. Pseudomonas species frequency of isolation declined. P. aeruginosa, MRSA, and other microorganisms showed increasing sensitivity to a number of antibiotics. MRSA remained highly sensitive to vancomycin, and Acinetobacter showed high resistance to all antibiotics tested except colistin. K. pneumoniae was highly resistant to most of the antibiotics tested except the carbapenems, but the resistance to carbapenems increased over time.
