To overcome the disadvantages of inhomogeneous microstructures and poor mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti-6Al-4V alloys,a novel technique of hybrid deposition and synchronous micro-rolling is *** micro-rolling leads to equiaxed prior β grains,thin discontinuous intergranular α,and equiaxed primary α,in contrast to the coarse columnar prior β grains without the application of *** recrystallization by micro-rolling results in discontinuous intergranular α via the mechanism of strain and interface-induced grain boundary *** evolution of α globularization,driven by a solute concentration gradient,starts from the sub-boundary until the formation of equiaxed primary α.Simultaneous strengthening and toughening are achieved,which means an increase in yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,fracture elongation,and work hardening *** formation of α recrystallization leads to more fine grain boundaries to strengthen the yield strength,and the improvement of ductility is due to the better-coordinated deformation ability of discontinuous intergranular α and equiaxed primary α.As a result,the fracture mode in micro-rolling changes from intergranular type to transgranular type.

Objective:In various cancers,migration and invasion inhibitory protein(MIIP)is expressed at low level and is involved in cancer ***,we sought to explore the function of MIIP in clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC).Methods:CCK-8,colony formation,cell cycle,and endothelial cell tube formation assays were performed to evaluate the roles of MIIP in ccRCC proliferation and *** explore the underlyi ng mechanism,we con ducted RNA-sequencing,GSEA,qRT-PCR,Western blot,ELISA,cell transfection,coimmunoprecipitation,and ubiquitination assays in ccRCC cell ***,xenograft tumor growth in nude mice,and Ki-67 and CD31 staining in xenograft tissues were ***,the association of MIIP expression with clinical pathology and the expression status of HIF-2a and cysteine-rich 61(CYR61)were further analyzed in human RCC tissues through Western blot and ***:both in vitro and in vivo functional experiments indicated that forced expression of MIIP inhibited ccRCC proliferation and angiogenesis,whereas silencing MIIP either in normal HK-2 cells or in ccRCC cells had the opposite effect(Pound to promote HSP90 acetylation and thus impair its chaperone function toward ***,RACK1 binds HIF-2a and causes its ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation,thus decreasing the transcription of its target,***,analyses of clinical samples demonstrated that MIIP is significantly downregulated in cancer *** tissues in RCC cases,and its expression is negatively associated with histological grade,metastasis,the prognosis of patients with RCC,and the expression of HIF-2a and CYR61(Pxis.

Excessive rainfall provides a favorable condition for field mold infection of plants, which triggers field mold(FM) stress. If FM stress occurs during the late maturation stage of soybean seed, it negatively affects seed yield and quality. To investigate the responses of soybean seed against FM stress and identify the underlying biochemical pathways involved, a greenhouse was equipped with an artificial rain producing system to allow the induction of mold growth on soybean seed. The induced quality changes and stress responses were revealed on the levels of both transcriptome and metabolome. The results showed that soybean seeds produced under FM stress conditions had an abnormal and inferior appearance, and also contained less storage reserves, such as protein and polysaccharide. Transcriptional analysis demonstrated that genes involved in amino acid metabolism, glycolysis, tricarboxylic acid, β-oxidation of fatty acids, and isoflavone biosynthesis were induced by FM stress. These results were supported by a multiple metabolic analysis which exhibited increases in the concentrations of a variety of amino acids, sugars, organic acids, and isoflavones, as well as reductions of several fatty acids. Reprogramming of these metabolic pathways mobilized and consumed stored protein, sugar and fatty acid reserves in the soybean seed in order to meet the energy and substrate demand on the defense system, but led to deterioration of seed quality. In general, FM stress induced catabolism of storage reserves and diminished the quality of soybean seed in the field. This study provides a more profound insight into seed deterioration caused by FM stress.

This study aimed to investigate the long-term biocompatibility, safety, and degradation of the ultrathin nitrided iron bioresorbable scaffold (BRS) in vivo, encompassing the whole process of bioresorption in porcine coronary arteries. Fifty-two nitrided iron scaffolds (strut thickness of 70 μm) and 28 Vision Co–Cr stents were randomly implanted into coronary arteries of healthy mini-swine. The efficacy and safety of the nitrided iron scaffold were comparable with those of the Vision stentwithin 52 weeks after implantation. In addition, the long-term biocompatibility, safety, and bioresorption of the nitrided iron scaffold were evaluated by coronary angiog-raphy, optical coherence tomography, micro-computed tomography, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectrometry and histopathological evaluations at 4, 12, 26, 52 weeks and even at 7 years after im-plantation. In particular, a large number of struts were almost completely absorbed in situ at 7 years follow-up, which were first illustrated in this study. The lymphatic drainage pathway might serve as the potential clearance way of iron and its corrosion products.

The solar X-ray and Extreme Ultraviolet Imager(X-EUVI),developed by the Changchun Institute of Optics,Fine Mechanics and Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences(CIOMP),is the first space-based solar X-ray and Extreme ultraviolet(EUV)imager of China loaded on the Fengyun-3E(FY-3E)satellite supported by the China Meteorological Administration(CMA)for solar *** started work on July 11,2021,X-EUVI has obtained many solar *** instrument employs an innovative dual-band design to monitor a much larger temperature range on the Sun,which covers 0.6-8.0 nm in the X-ray region with six channels and 19.5 nm in the EUV region.X-EUVI has a field of view of 42′,an angular resolution of 2.5″per pixel in the EUV band and an angular resolution of 4.1″per pixel in the X-ray *** instrument also includes an X-ray and EUV irradiance sensor(X-EUVS)with the same bands as its imaging optics,which measures the solar irradiance and regularly calibrates the solar *** radiometric calibration of X-EUVS on the ground has been completed,with a calibration accuracy of 12%.X-EUVI is loaded on the FY-3E satellite and rotates relative to the Sun at a uniform ***-field calibration is conducted by utilizing successive rotation solar *** agreement between preliminarily processed X-EUVI images and SDO/AIA and Hinode/XRT images indicates that X-EUVI and the data processing algorithm operate properly and that the data from X-EUVI can be applied to the space weather forecast system of CMA and scientific investigations on solar activity.
