Pyridinone derivatives are of great interest in medicinal chemistry where they were found to be potent to various diseases. Their metal complexes added more value to their applications. Here, we have synthesized two 2-pyridinone derivatives(3-cyano-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-phenyl-2(1 H)-pyridinone and 3-cyano-4-chlorophenyl-6-(4-tolyl)-2(1 H)-pyridinone) using one-pot multicomponent system. They were well characterized using spectroscopic techniques like nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR-1 H & 13 C), Fourier transform infrared(FT-iR) and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The final structures were determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique which helps us to determine their geometries. Density functional theory(DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory(TD-DFT) with suitable basis-sets of calculations have correctly simulated these spectroscopic parameters. The intramolecular charge transfer(iCT) of both substrates has been discussed using natural bond orbital(NBO) technique. Molecular electrostatic potential(MEP) surfaces showed their reactive locations for intermolecular charge transfer. Compared to p-nitroaniline(pNA), both substrates were shown to have substantial molecular hyperpolarizability.

Using Lean Manufacturing(LM)tools in production processes is crucial for companies’economic,environmental,and social sustainability *** study shows a structural equation model(SEM)that shows the relationship between LM Tools like Kaizen(KAi),Gemba(GEM),Value Stream Mapping(VSM)and Key Performance indicator(KPi)with Economic Sustainability(ECS).Seven hypotheses were evaluated with data from 179 responses to a questionnaire about the Mexican maquiladora industry,showing that these variables are *** a 95%confidence level,the model was evaluated using the partial least squares *** findings indicate that the relationships between KAi and GEM and KAi and VSM have the strongest relationship,followed by VSM and ECS;however,VSM has the strongest effect on *** on these findings,it is recommended that managers adopt a continuous improvement(KAi)approach based on working directly on the shop floor(GEM and VSM)to support their decisions regarding economic growth(ECS).

This study delves into the combustion behavior of various lignite types within a circulating fluidized bed boiler(CFBB),with a primary focus on the impact of different bed material sphericity ratios(0.5,0.7,and 0.9).Utilizing bed material with a sphericity ratio of 0.9 sourced from theÇan power plant and verified through experimentation,the research reveals several key ***,furnace temperatures tended to rise with higher sphericity ratios,albeit with variations between lignite types,particularly highlighting the complexity of this relationship in the case of GLi-Tunçbilek *** levels in the combustion chamber remained consistent across different sphericity ratios,indicating minimal influence on pressure *** combustion efficiency,especially at the bottom of the boiler,was observed at lower sphericity levels(0.5 and 0.7)forÇan lignite,as reflected in CO_(2) mole *** NO_(x) emissions generally decreased with lower sphericity,the sensitivity to sphericity varied by lignite type,with ilgın lignite showcasing low NO_(x) but high SO_(2) emissions,underscoring the intricate interplay between lignite properties,sphericity,and ***,this study advances our understanding of CFBB combustion dynamics,offering insights valuable for optimizing performance and emissions control,particularly in lignite-based power.

Tannin was extracted from different subspecies of Acacia nilotica,Acacia nilotica nilotica(Ann),Acacia nilotica tomentosa(Ant)and Acacia nilotica adansonii(Ana).The aim was to elucidate their structure and evaluate their reactivity as bioadhesives in the wood *** extracts were prepared by hot water extraction(90°C tem-perature).Their gel time with paraformaldehyde was used atﬁrst to compare their *** tannin contents and the percentage of total polyphenolic materials in different solutions of the extracts spray dried powder were determined by the hide powder *** solutions(47%)were tested by both MALDi ToF,*** thermomechanical analysis(TMA)was performed to evaluate their modulus of elasticity(MOE)at different *** gel times of all the three tannin extracts showed that their reactivity and it was com-parable to other known procyanidin/prodelphinidin tannin extract ***,Ann and Ant showed highest per-cent of total polyphenolic materials at 70%,64%,and 57%,*** 13CNMR spectra showed that the three subspecies of condensed tannins were mainly constituted of procyanidins(PC)and prodelphinidins(PD)in slightly different ***(56.5%PC and 43.4%PD),Ant(57%PC and 43%PD)and Ana(58%PC and 42%PD).MALDi–TOF spectra showed the presence ofﬂavonoid monomers,and oligomers some of which linked to short carbohydrates monomers or *** revealed that the three types of tannins had high MOE at their initial pH(5).

The chemical composition and thermal properties of natural fibers are the most critical variables that determine the overall properties of the fibers and influence their processing and use in different sustainable applications,such as their conversion into bioenergy and *** thermal and mechanical properties can be estimated by evaluating the content of cellulose,lignin,and other extractives in the *** this research work,the chemical composition and thermal properties of three fibers,namely bagasse,kenaf bast fibers,and cotton stalks,were evaluated to assess their potential utilization in producing biocomposites and bioenergy *** chemical composition analysis followed the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper industry Standards(TAPPi)*** total phenol content was quantified using the Folin-Ciocalteu method,while Fourier Transform infrared Spectroscopy(FTiR)was employed to assess the light absorption by the *** evaluate thermal stability and higher heating values,Thermogravimetric Analysis(TGA),Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC),and bomb calorimetry were *** chemical analysis revealed that bagasse contained 50.6%cellulose and 21.6%lignin,kenaf bast fibers had 58.5%cellulose and 10%lignin,and cotton stalks exhibited 40.3%cellulose and 21.3%*** FTiR curves demonstrated a notable similarity among the *** TGA analysis showed degradation temperatures of 321°C for bagasse,354°C for kenaf bast fibers,and 289°C for cotton *** DSC analysis revealed glass transition temperatures of 81°C for bagasse,66.3°C for cotton stalks,and 64.5°C for kenaf bast *** higher heating values were measured as 17.3,16.6 and 17.1 MJ/kg for bagasse,kenaf bast fibers,and cotton stalks,*** three fibers have a high potential for biocomposites and bioenergy material manufacturing.

Coordinative development across various systems,particularly the economic,social,cultural,and human resources subsystems,is a key aspect of urban sustainability and has a direct impact on the quality of *** Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle,comprising Hangzhou City,Huzhou City,Jiaxing City,and Shaoxing City,was the first metropolitan circle approved by the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC)as a demonstration of economic transformation in *** evaluate the coupling coordination degree of the four cities and analyze the coordinative development in three systems(including digital economy,regional innovation,and talent employment),we collected panel data during 2015–2022 from these four *** development level of the three systems was evaluated by the standard deviation method and comprehensive development *** results are as follows:(1)the level of coupling coordinated development of the three systems in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle was relatively low;(2)the coupling coordination degree of the four cities in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle showed significant regional differences,among which Hangzhou City was in the leading position,and Huzhou,Jiaxing,and Shaoxing cities made steady but slow progress in the coupling development of the three systems;and(3)the development of digital economy and talent employment needs to be *** study contributes to the coordinative development of Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle by innovatively focusing on the coupling coordination relationship among digital economy,regional innovation,and talent employment,which also meets the industrial layout of Hangzhou Metropolitan *** this way,the optimal allocation and sustainable development of digital economy,regional innovation,and talent employment in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle can be achieved.
