This paper highlights the crucial role of Indonesia’s GnSS receiver network in advancing Equatorial plasma Bubble(EpB)studies in Southeast and East Asia,as ionospheric irregularities within EpB can disrupt GnSS signals and degrade positioning *** by the Indonesian Geospatial Information Agency(BIG),the Indonesia Continuously Operating Reference Station(Ina-CORS)network comprises over 300 GnSS receivers spanning equatorial to southern low-latitude ***-CORS is uniquely situated to monitor EpB generation,zonal drift,and dissipation across Southeast *** provide a practical tool for EpB research,by sharing two-dimensional rate of Total Electron Content(TEC)change index(ROTI)derived from this *** generate ROTI maps with a 10-minute resolution,and samples from May 2024 are publicly available for further scientific *** preliminary findings from the ROTI maps of Ina-CORS are ***,the Ina-CORS ROTI maps reveal that the irregularities within a broader EpB structure persist longer,increasing the potential for these irregularities to migrate farther ***,we demonstrate that combined ROTI maps from Ina-CORS and GnSS receivers in East Asia and Australia can be used to monitor the development of ionospheric irregularities in Southeast and East *** have demonstrated the combined ROTI maps to capture the development of ionospheric irregularities in the Southeast/East Asian sector during the G5 Geomagnetic Storm on May 11,*** observed simultaneous ionospheric irregularities in Japan and Australia,respectively propagating northwestward and southwestward,before midnight,whereas Southeast Asia’s equatorial and low-latitude regions exhibited irregularities *** sharing ROTI maps from Indonesia and integrating them with regional GnSS networks,researchers can conduct comprehensive EpB studies,enhancing the understanding of EpB behavior across Southeast and East Asia and contributing significantly to ionosphe

AIM: Delayed gastric emptying and an enlarged fasting gastric antrum are common findings in functional dyspepsia but their relationship with gastrointestinal (GI), and the frequently associated extra-GI symptoms remains *** study evaluated the relationship between GI and extra-GI symptoms, fasting antral volume and delayed gastric emptying in functional ***: In 108 functional dyspeptic patients antral volume and gastric emptying were assessed with ultrasonography (US). Symptoms were assessed with standardized questionnaire. The association of symptoms and fasting antral volume with delayed gastric emptying was estimated with logistic regression ***: Delayed gastric emptying was detected in 39.8% of the patients. postprandial drowsiness (AOR 11.25; 95%CI 2.75-45.93), nausea (AOR 3.51; 95%CI 1.19-10.32), fasting antral volume (AOR 1.93; 95%CI 1.22-3.05), were significantly associated with delayed gastric emptying. Symptoms, mainly the extra-GI ones as postprandial drowsiness and nausea, combined with fasting antral volume predicted the modality of gastric emptying with a sensitivity and specificity of 78%.COnCLUSIOn: In functional dyspeptic patients, (1) an analysis of fasting antral volume and of symptoms can offer valuable indication on the modality of gastric emptying,and (2) it seems appropriate to inquire on postprandial drowsiness that showed the best correlation with delayed gastric emptying.

The combination of a 4-node quadrilateral mixed interpolation of tensorial components element(MITC4)and the cell-based smoothed finite element method(CSfEM)was formulated and implemented in this work for the analysis of free vibration and unidirectional buckling of shell *** formulation was applied to numerous numerical examples of non-woven *** CSfEM schemes do not require coordinate transformation,spurious modes and numerical instabilities are prevented using bilinear quadrilateral element subdivided into two,three and four smoothing *** improvement of the original CSfEM formulation was made regarding the calculation of outward unit normal vectors,which allowed to remove the integral operator in the strain smoothing *** procedure conducted both to the simplification of the developed formulation and the reduction of computational cost.A wide range of values for the thickness-to-length ratio and edge boundary conditions were *** developed numerical model proved to overcome the shear locking phenomenon with success,revealing both reduced implementation effort and computational cost in comparison to the conventional fEM *** cell-based strain smoothing technique used in this work yields accurate results and generally attains higher convergence rate in energy at low computational cost.

Smoothed particle hydrodynamics（SpH） method with numerical diffusive terms shows satisfactory stability and accuracy in some violent fluid–solid interaction problems. However, in most simulations, uniform particle distributions are used and the multi-resolution, which can obviously improve the local accuracy and the overall computational efficiency, has seldom been applied. In this paper, a dynamic particle splitting method is applied and it allows for the simulation of both hydrostatic and hydrodynamic problems. The splitting algorithm is that, when a coarse（mother） particle enters the splitting region, it will be split into four daughter particles, which inherit the physical parameters of the mother particle. In the particle splitting process,conservations of mass, momentum and energy are ensured. The objective of the Apollon 10 pW project is the generation of 10 pW peak power pulses of 15 fs at 1 shot min^(-1). In this paper a brief update on the current status of the Apollon project is presented, followed by a more detailed presentation of our experimental and theoretical investigations of the temporal characteristics of the laser. More specifically the design considerations as well as the technological and physical limitations to achieve the intended pulse duration and contrast are discussed.

Crystallographic and microstructural properties of Ho(ni,Co,Mn)O3±dperovskite-type multiferroic material are *** were synthesized with a modified polymeric precursor *** synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction(SXRpD)technique associated to Rietveld refinement method was used to perform structural *** crystallographic structures,as well as microstructural properties,were studied to determine unit cell parameters and volume,angles and atomic positions,crystallite size and strain.X-ray energies below the absorption edges of the transition metals helped to determine the mean preferred atomic occupancy for the substituent ***,analyzing the degree of distortion of the polyhedra centered at the transitions metal atoms led to understanding the structural model of the synthesized phase.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XpS)was performed to evaluate the valence states of the elements,and the tolerance factor and oxygen *** obtained results indicated a small decrease distortion in structure,close to the HoMnO3 basis *** addition,the substituent atoms showed the same distribution and,on average,preferentially occupied the center of the unit cell.

Successful percutaneous drainage of a giant hydatid cyst in the liver

A 35-year-old female was hospitalized for abdominal pain, bloating, and vomiting. plain X-ray pictures exhibited bowel obstruction for which she underwent emergency surgery. On the second postoperative day, she started to complain about dull right upper quadrant abdominal pain and bloating. Abdominal CT scans revealed very large cystic lesion with an inhomogeneous fluid content. The cyst occupied the whole right lobe of the liver compressing the surrounding organs and dislocating the left lobe of the liver towards the left hypochondrium （figure 1）. Additionally, several more cysts of various sizes were seen in the whole abdomen. This radio-morphology raised the possibility of a hydatid disease （caused by ruptured hydatid cyst） confirmed through positive echinococcus IgG serology （ELISA）. Interestingly, no hypereosinophilia could be detected through repeated blood tests.
