Calcium phosphate cements are of great interest for researchers and their applications in medical practice ***,they have a number of drawbacks including the insufficient level of mechanical properties and low degradation ***(MgNH4Po4)-based cements,which grew in popularity in recent years,despite their neutral pH and acceptable mechanical performance,release undesirable NH4+ions during their *** issue could be avoided by replacement of ammonia ions in the cement liquid with sodium,however,such cements have a pH values of 9–10,leading to ***,the main goal of this investigation is to optimize the composition of cements to achieve the combination of desirable properties:neutral pH,sufficient mechanical properties,and the absence of cytotoxicity,applying Na2HPo4-based cement *** this purpose,cement powders precursors in the Cao-Mgo-P2o5 system were synthesized by one-pot process in a wide composition range,and their properties were *** optimal performance was observed for the cements with(Ca+Mg)/P ratio of 1.67,which are characterized by newberyite phase formation during setting reaction,pH values close to 7,sufficient compressive strength up to 22±3 MPa(for 20 mol.%of Mg),dense microstructure and adequate matrix properties of the *** set of features make those materials promising candidates for medical applications.

Recharging of quantum confinement levels in siGe quantum wells (QW) was studied by charge deep-level transient spectroscopy (Q-DLTs) for si/siGe/si structures with different Ge contents in the siGe layer. A peak with activation energy varying in the range from 0 to 100 meV in different tempera-ture intervals was observed in Q-DLTs spectra. Activation energies extracted from Q-DLTs measure-mens are in good agreement with energies of quantum confinement levels in the QW.

In coal mines in such countries as China and Russia,most of the coal mine methane(CMM) generated during mining is emitted to the atmosphere without any effective usage,because the methane concentration of CMM is relatively low and not allowed to be used as fuel for safety *** is one of the greenhouse ***,if it becomes possible to concentrate CMM to an acceptable level for use as fuel,this will greatly contribute to reduction of greenhouse gas *** the aim of gaining approval as a greenhouse gas emission reduction of the clean development mechanism(CDM) or joint implementation(JI) project,we developed a CMM concentration system to apply the vacuum pressure swing adsorption(VPsA) technology using a high methane-selective adsorbent by osaka Gas Co.,*** pilot-scale plant of a CMM concentration system was installed in a coal mine in Fuxin City in the northeastern China and a demonstration test was commenced in December *** the result,the pilot-scale plant successfully concentrated the raw material gas with a methane concentration of 21%and a flow rate of 1000 Nm3/h to 48%,which exceeded the target of the methane concentration performance(a 25%increase) .The methane recovery rate reached 93%.

The issues related to the identity of small historical towns have become particularly relevant in Russia over the past decade. In accordance with the Quebec Declaration, the identity pertains to the relations between population and a town or a village, appearing when the inhabitants perceive the settlement as something of their own, as a place, with which they have become intimately linked by their life style, memorial sites, various material and nonmaterial ties. Given that the identity is based on both material, and non-material heritage, a threat to its preservation is posed by both the substantial changes in daily life, and the loss of valuable cultural heritage. The identity is psychologically important for the population;it determines the consolidation of the inhabitants, the stability of social structures. The anthropological studies show that, as in many small towns of eastern and southern Europe, the identity of settlements is quite high in the Russian small towns, despite the unfavorable living conditions existing in many of them. The specific problem of the small historical towns in Russia consists in a great deal of deteriorating wooden stock of valuable housing development, the loss of which, and the respective change in the town structure, imply the dispersion of the settlement's identity. The social and anthropological studies, as well as design works carried out in recent times, point out the presence of various parts of the identification problem. For effective work on preservation and upkeep of the identity of the historical settlements, there is a necessity to comprehend the interrelation between the particular cases of identity expression and to structure them. For such comprehension, it is important to consider the works of such predecessors as Pierre Nora, Maurice Halbwachs and Jan Assmann. Nowadays the system of public health is constructed in such a manner so that its main objective is the recovery of an already sick person, while prediction and prevention receive little attention. Meanwhile the development of these aspects of medicine can lead to the ability to control morbidity among the population, to identify chronic and genetic diseases in the early stages of development, and thus to prevent their further progression. This will reduce traditionally high costs of sick people treatment and the number of disabled population, and improve the quality and duration of life. The elaboration of new fields of science that are working on the study and interpretation of data obtained during laboratory and clinical research, creation of new methods for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment, provides an opportunity now to implement a new strategy, called PPPM, and gets promising results, which should lead to further development of an existing medicine.
