Measured results of magnetoelectric (ME) and converse magnetoelectric (CME) effects of TbxDy1-xFe2-y/ Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)(1-x)Tixo3/TbxDy1-xFe2-y (TD/PMNT/TD) and PMNT/TD/PMNT laminated composites are pre- sented. ME effect was determined by measuring laminate voltage output under a Helmholtz-gener- ated AC field biased by a DC field (0―1 koe) (1 oe = 79.58 A/m). The CME effect was measured by re- cording the voltage induced in a solenoid encompassing the ME sample while exposed to a DC bias field and PMNT layer driven by a 10 V AC source. The ME and CME responses in the two laminated structure are linear. The highest values of ME coefficients in TD/PMNT/TD and PMNT/TD/PMNT com- posites are 384 mV/oe and 158 mV/oe, respectively, while the highest values of CME coefficients in the two composites are 118 mG/V and 162 mG/V (1 G=10-4 T), respectively.

It is well known that there is a deep connection between the symmetric and traveling wave *** has been shown that all symmetric waves are traveling *** this paper,we establish new analytic solution collections of nonlinear conformable time-fractional water wave dynamical equation in a complex *** this purpose,we construct a new definition of a symmetric conformable differential operator(SCDo).The operator has a symmetric representation in the open unit *** using SCDo,we generalize a class of water wave dynamical equation type time-space fractional complex Ginzburg-Landau *** results show that the obtainable approaches are powerful,dependable and prepared to apply to all classes of complex differential equations.

重组PMT衍生物免疫预防渐进性萎缩性鼻炎

用纯化的多杀性巴氏杆菌毒素(Pasteurella multaida Toxia、PMT)重组衍生物接种母猪来预防渐进性萎缩性鼻炎(PAR)。除了缺少121个氨基酸外,该衍生物与PMT氨基酸序列相同。本实验用无毒PMT衍生物(do)两次接种10头妊娠母猪,用甲醛处理的纯天然PMT接种7头母猪,另外10头为未接种母猪作对照组。所产仔猪全部鼻内接种支气管败血性博代氏杆菌(Bbs)和产毒性多杀性巴氏杆菌(tpm)。对照组仔猪除1头外均引起具有临床症状的萎缩性鼻炎。其中90％仔猪发展成为严重鼻甲骨萎缩。但接种组仔猪仅有个别出现该病临床症状或病理学变化。在整个实验中,两个接种组母猪初乳中抗PMT抗体平均滴度相近,其仔猪血清平均滴度也几乎一致。对照组仔猪在出生后8周内没有血清阳性,但屠宰时23％变成了血清阳性。与对照组比较,5周龄和8周龄的接种组仔猪的tpm感染率及鼻棉拭子培养所分离到的菌落总数明显下降,而且接种组仔猪从出生到屠宰的增重有明显提高(79％),组饲料转化率或瘦肉率没有明显差异。实验表明,PMT的无毒衍生物具有优越的免疫保护特性。

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) represents a unique challenge for physicians and *** is no definitively curative ***,many treatment and management modalities exist with differing advantages and *** current guidelines and individual patient concerns must be taken into account in order to properly manage *** addition,quality of life issues are particularly complex in patients with HCC and these concerns must also be factored into treatment ***,considering all the options and their various pros and cons can quickly become complex for both clinicians and *** this review,we systematically discuss the current treatment modalities available for HCC,detailing relevant clinical data,risks and rewards and overall outcomes for each *** options discussed include resection,transplantation and *** also discuss the radiation modalities:conformal radiotherapy,yttrium 90 microspheres and proton and heavy ion *** biologic agent Sorafenib is discussed as a promising new approach,and recent clinical trials are *** then detail currently described molecular pathways implicated in the initiation and progression of HCC,and we explore the potential of each pathway as an avenue for drug *** hope this comprehensive and forward-looking review enables both clinicians and patients to understand various options and thereby make more informed decisions regarding this disease.

A magnetic state equation of the MnFeP0.45As0.55 compound has been obtained by minimizing the Gibbs free energy with respect to the volume and the magnetization based on the Bean-Rodbell model. The isothermal magnetization of the compound has been calculated using this equation. The magnetic entropy change of the compound was determined from the surface area between the two adjacent isothermal magnetization curves divided by the average temperature. A comparison and an error analysis of the calculated magnetic entropy change and the one determined from the experimental data were given.

Background To determine whether the introduction of pasteurized donor human milk and probiotics for infants bornweeks gestational age orweight is associated with a reduction in mortality and the incidence of necrotising enterocolitis (NEC) and sepsis. Methods we performed a retrospective analysis of two cohorts: before and after the introduction of probiotics and pasteurised donor human milk. Univariate analysis of primary and secondary outcomes was performed;variables impacting outcomes were assessed using multivariate logistic regression. Results There were 1791 infants: 1334 in the pre-donor milk/probiotic cohort and 457 in the post-donor milk/probiotic cohort. on univariate analysis, mortality (7.6 vs. 2.4%, Pof sepsis (6.2 vs. 3.5%, P=0.028) were statistically significantly lower in the post-donor milk/probiotic group. NEC (2.8 vs. 1.5%, P=0.14) and non-NEC associ-ated gastrointestinal perforation (1.6 vs. 0.4%, P=0.052) were lower in the post-donor milk/probiotics cohort, but these were not statistically significant. The difference in mortality remained statistically significant on multivariate analysis in the post-donor milk/probiotic cohort compared to those in the pre-donor milk/probiotic cohort (odds ratio 0.31, 95% confidence interval 0.16–0.61). The decrease in the incidence of NEC was consistent with previous observational studies but the differ-ence was not statistically significant. Conclusion The availability of probiotics and pasteurised donor human milk is associated with a reduction in mortality in very preterm infants.

Amphiphilic magnetic microspheres consisting of styrene and poly(ethylene oxide) macromonomer(MPEo) were prepared by dispersion copolymerization in the presence of Fe_3o_4 magnetic fluid in an ethanol/water medium. The sizes of the magnetic microspheres and their distribution were characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The surface morphology and the average surface roughness of the microspheres were investigated by virtue of atomic force microscopy(AFM). It was found that the microspheres exhibit microscopic phase-separate and the mean square surface roughness of the microspheres increases with increasing MPEo used in the copolymerization. The amphiphilic magnetic microspheres containing 0 4-3 5 mg/g hydroxyl groups could be prepared from MPEo with different concentrations and styrene.
