A novel class of molecules with structure N-（3-arylpropyl）-9,10-dihydro-9-oxoacridine-4-carboxamides （20- 29） were designed by generating a pharmacophore for potent MdR reversal activity using phase drug design software. The designed molecules were synthesized by a novel synthesis route and evaluated for their inhibitory effects on the transport activity of P-glycoprotein （P-gp） by standard Hoechst 33342 assay method. Based on the pIC50 values of ten title compounds screened, three compounds exhibited better activity as compared to verapamil used as standard.

A numerical–analytical approach is described to investigate the process of impact interaction between a long smooth rigid body and the surface of a circular cylindrical cavity in elastic space. A non-stationary mixed initial boundary value problem is formulated with a priori unknown boundaries moving with variable velocity. The problem is solved using the methods of the theory of integral transforms, expansion of desired variables into a Fourier series, and the quadrature method to reduce the problem to solving a system of linear algebraic equations at each time step. Some concrete numerical computations are *** cylindrical body mass and radius impact on the proile of the transient process of contact interaction has been analysed.

In this paper a short-circuit computation(SCC) procedure for large-scale distribution systems with high penetration of distributed generators based on contemporary technologies is proposed. The procedure is suitable for real-time *** of modern distributed generators differs from the modeling of traditional synchronous and induction ***, SCC procedures found on the presumption of distribution systems with only traditional generators are not suitable in nowadays systems. In the work presented in this paper, for computation of the state of the system with short-circuit, the improved backward/forward sweep(IBFS) procedure is *** results show that the IBFS procedure is much more robust than previous SCC procedures, as it takes into account all distribution system elements, including modern distributed generators.

The postbuckling of the eccentrically stiffened circular cylindrical shells made of functionally graded materials （FGMs）, subjected to the axial compressive load and external uniform pressure and filled inside by the elastic foundations in the thermal environments, is investigated with an analytical method. The shells are reinforced by FGM stringers and rings. The thermal elements of the shells and stiffeners in the fundamental equations are considered. The equilibrium and nonlinear stability equations in terms of the displacement components for the stiffened shells are derived with the third-order shear deformation theory and Leckhniskii smeared stiffener technique. The closed-form expressions for determining the buckling load and postbuckling load-deflection curves are obtained with the Galerkin method. The effects of the stiffeners, the foundations, the material and dimensional parameters, and the pre-existent axial compressive and thermal load are considered.

The nonlinear analysis with an analytical approach on dynamic torsional buckling of stiffened functionally graded thin toroidal shell segments is investigated. The shell is reinforced by inside stiffeners and surrounded by elastic foundations in a thermal environment and under a time-dependent torsional load. The governing equations are derived based on the donnell shell theory with the yon Karman geometrical nonlinearity, the Stein and McElman assumption, the smeared stiffeners technique, and the Galerkin method. A deflection function with three terms is chosen. The thermal parameters of the uniform temperature rise and nonlinear temperature conduction law are found in an explicit form. A closed-form expression for determining the static critical torsional load is obtained. A critical dynamic torsional load is found by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method and the Budiansky-Roth criterion. The effects of stiffeners, foundations, material, and dimensional parameters on dynamic responses of shells are considered.

Lead-free dielectric ceramics can be used to make quick charge-discharge capacitor devices due to their high power *** use in advanced electronic systems,however,has been hampered by their poor energy storage performance(ESP),which includes low energy storage efficiency and recoverable energy storage density(Wrec).In this work,we adopted a combinatorial optimization strategy to improve the ESP in(Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5))Tio_(3)(BNT)-based relaxor ferroelectric *** begin,the Bi-containing complex ions Bi(Mg_(2/3)Nb_(1/3))o_(3)(BMN)were introduced into a BNT-based matrix in order to improve the diffuse phase transition,increase Bi-o bond coupling,avoid macro domain development,and limit polarization response ***,the viscous polymer process was employed to reduce sample thickness and porosity,resulting in an apparent increase in breakdown strength in(1-x)[0.7(Bi_(1/2)Na_(1/2))Tio_(3)]-0.3SrTio_(3)-xBi(Mg_(2/3)Nb_(1/3))o_(3)(BS-xBMN)***,in x=0.20 composition,an amazing Wrecof 5.62 J·cm^(-3)and an ultra-high efficiency of 91.4%were simultaneously achieved at a relatively low field of 330 kv·cm^(-1),together with remarkable temperature stability in the temperature range of 30-140℃(3.5 J·cm^(-3)±5%variation).This research presents a new lead-free dielectric material with superior ESP for use in pulsed power capacitors.

The paper dealt with the study of fluorescence properties of sol-gel systems doped with rate-earth ions and co-doped with silver. The general problem for these types of inorganic phosphors was a very low absorbance in the visible range. Therefore, a sensitizer of luminescence of the rare-earth ions should be selected and used. The sensitizer should possess a good absorbance in the visible range and strong interaction with the rare-earth ions. In this study silver ions were selected as the sensitizer.

The effect of material dispersion on the optical properties of one-dimensional non-Hermitian scattering systems is investigated in detail. In particular, multilayer heterostructures with gain and loss(parity-time symmetric or not)are examined by taking into account the dispersion of each layer. The exceptional points and phase transitions are characterized based on the spectrum of the corresponding scattering matrix. We demonstrate that an on-average lossy heterostructure can amplify an incident plane wave in the frequency range associated with the emission frequency of the layer with gain.

This article presents a device for the storage and gasification of cryogenic working fluid,which is named a cryogenic fuelling tank.A cryogenic fuel tank can serve both as a fuel vessel and a pressure accumulator due to the regasification process that takes place *** of this tank is slowed by the lack of theoretical and experimental research on its working *** article deals with an investigation of the working process of the energy plant based on a cryogenic fuel tank coupled with a rotor-vane *** mathematical models include evaporation and condensation processes within the tank,heat exchange between gas chambers and between the tank and environment,and changes in energy due to incoming and leaving *** work used to determine the efficiency of a power plant is generated by a steam *** shows that it is possible to achieve specific work outputs up to 110-160 kJ/kg with relative deviation of power and specific work determination equal to 1.4% and 1.9%correspondingly.
